Very clean, cosy and modern room, equipped with a cattle, cups, multiple lamps allowing for both bright and more dim ambience in terms of light. Located only a short walk from the old town. Reception 24/7, checkout was super easy and quick, I only needed to hand-over the key and receptionist checked the system and said ''done''.

Only thing was that a small city tax fee needed to be paid upon arrival, it was only possible to pay by cash. I did not have zloty with me, so I asked the receptionist where is the best/easiest way to exchange euro to zloty, unfortunately they were not able to help me. Luckily I have Polish friends who were able to advise me and I went to Green Kantor in Forum Mall to exchange money. But it was closing at 21:00 and I had to rush, I was leaving on the next morning early, so it was a bit stressful and I'm not sure how it would work for example in the guest arrives with no zloty at hand at 22:00 and has to leave 5 am the next morning. Perhaps the hotel can go the extra mile to prepare in advance some advise / solution for such cases. :)

To start on the highest note: the mattress on my double bed was splendid, better than you practically ever get at a hotel. Getting out of bed in the morning, getting off it after resting in the afternoon, I was refreshed. The room itself was fine; I was a single person in a double. There was plenty of surface space, also in the bathroom (though none in the shower). I didn’t use the TV, the WiFi was fine. They picked me up from the airport for free, but I was mightily disappointed when I arrived. It’s supposed to be in the Old City, but there was no sign of old city anywhere around. (All the splendid old buildings in this really lovely town are accurate reconstructions: it was all flattened in WWII.) But there are old Dutch-inspired buildings up the road, and the center of Old City is down the road. A trolley stops right at the hotel. The walk, if you do it, to Dlugi Targ, is less than twenty minutes. But a taxi to the cathedral or back is merely $3.50-4.50, unless you get your cab from the Hilton, in which case, it’s $12.00. Gdańsk is a delightful city to stroll in. I didn’t have the breakfast, of which the hotel is quite proud. It looked far too much, but worst was a self-serve push-button coffee automat. However, there is a large and proper Italian caffetiera espresso machine at the bar in the lobby, and some of the morning desk people are excellent baristas (having studied abroad in Italy?).

Perfect location - 10-15 minutes walk from old town which is crowded and loud, at the same time stay in quite safe district. The tram is passing by but we did not use it at all. 10 min walk till the central railway station for Sopot etc visits . Fantastic delicious breakfast. Much much better than in 4 star hotels and some 5 stars also. Very clean room, its new, modern, comfy bed, bright bathroom with big window. Elevator is also + Cross the street from the hotel - Asian restaurant is located , it offers so tasty meals from different kitchen of Asia. Good pricing and very polite service. Warmly recommend for a lunch and dinner. Much better than in old town. For sure would come back to the hotel again visiting Gdansk.

Could not fault the staff or the room. Extremely clean, looks like a fairly new hotel,couple mins walk to Tram and bus routes. I've stayed in worse 4 🌟 establishments if that makes sense. The breakfasts were bountiful, enjoyed trying a Polish breakfast buffet was a welcome change. Would certainly recommend 👌 Majority of time did exceed my expectations Receptionist offered to book a taxi for airport and was most accommodating when I asked to store my luggage.👌 Enjoyed a wonderful sleep on very comfy bed and great shower

The only reservation I would say would be the lack of things like , milk and egg ingredients were not cooling over ice plate and remained uncovered, with flies buzzing around, only things that were covered were cold meats and cheese. More than one option of fruit juice and milk and cereals ,toppings ,good but again not chilled or with lids or tops, also yoghurts left for 2-3hrs unchilled Had to point out that the milk had turned sour...not ideal to say the least 🤔😌

So Stay Hotel is a very nice hotel, located about 15 minutes from the old town of Gdansk. It is modern and very comfortable. The room is spacious. We did not have any problems with noise - it is near the main road but no noise can be heard. The breakfast was excellent - maybe one of the best ones so far. Everyday, the staff would also leave two bottles of water and packages of coffee in our room. All in all, we would return in a heartbeat.

Everything was to our satisfaction. Good value for money.

Good communication in English prior to our stay as we had to make arrangements for our son to sit an online exam on our day of arrival. Luckily the hotel has a meeting room that we were able to hire for 6 hours. The room was spotless and WiFi good so this arrangement worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was out of the main Gdansk tourist area, which suited us, but within reasonable walking distance of the old town. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice experience at the front desk, pretty spacy and tidy room. There was everything I needed in the room, together with an electric kettle with tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable and big enough. The hotel is located next to the busy street, but it was quiet inside. There are 3 parking spots near the hotel, free parking alongside the street, or paid parking next to the hotel for 40 PLN/day. The hotel is located close to the Old Town - about a 10-minute walk to the Central railway station.

Everything was new, clean and functional. The room might have been too small for two people for several days, but for a single traveller it was plenty of space. Breakfast was varied and tasty, although lacking the opulence of the big hotels. The staff were friendly. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the city and the tram also runs next to the hotel.

Nice, modern and clean room with great facilities. Very good breakfast, friendly staff and good location - not far from the city center.

When tram passes by you can hear it and also rooms are not soundproofed so I woke up every single morning at 5am because of screaming child or drunk guests coming back from the city. I've chosen hotel in a quiet place for a reason.
