The hotel is located in an awesome old building that was renovated with a fascinating sense of style and consideration for the guests' comfort, using modern technologies (touch screens for temperature/light control/request to clean the room). The beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast, amazing fresh bread. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good restaurant.

When we just came to the hotel after a very long journey, there was no one on the reception desk. We waited 10 minutes and then found keys with our names, so we took them and stayed in the room by ourselves (the stay was already paid). I don't think that in a hotel of that level the reception can remain empty.

The receptionist was half asleep when we arrived, and we didn't get any information regarding hotel etc. But totally understandable since we arrived at midnight.

The hotel is beautifully restored. My room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very accommodating when I asked to change rooms. I'd been allocated a disability room and was disappointed with the bathroom in that room, and it was not the room I had booked. I enjoyed having a couch in my room to relax on, and these rooms are so large that this is possible. Every day a refillable bottle of water is left in the room. The restaurant was also very nice, although it was only open one night during my stay.

There was a little window high on the wall opposite the bed which had no blind. I found this extremely annoying due to street light coming in at night and sun in the early morning. A window covering is required.

Loved the big, spacious rooms with tall ceilings and a huge shower! Our room had a big double bed with two duvets, which is perfect, cajse me and my husband fight over duver ownership a lot. And ths beds are soft and comfy, like sleeping hugged by marshmallows. The bar in the basement is so good, I recomment the battered cod with chips and real tartar sauce. Everything on the menu was delicious and staff was so joyful and nice. Excellent selection of their own beer!

Nothing to do with the hotel really, we knew what we picked. But people with reduced mobility should know there is a lot of walking to the city's old town. Must cross the busy road right outside, which can only be done through a nearby underground passage or otherside one block to the nearest lights.

The location of the hotel is wonderful, the main streets can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. The room was cozy, modern, and clean. The personnel was really nice and helpful as well, we paid for parking and accidentally left our car in a spot that did not belong to the hotel which resulted in us getting a fine, however, the employees were lovely and told us that the hotel would cover it.

To start off, we would definitely come back to this hotel as we couldn't find many flaws. One of the things that bugged us a little bit is a slight lack of sound isolation. The hotel is on a busy street and it felt like our windows were open the whole time even though they were shut. A bigger variety of breakfast foods would also be appreciated, however, it was not that big of a deal.

You can see the place as soon as you walk out of the station, so that saved me the usual hassle of trying to get my bearings wandering around staring at my phone map thingy. the place is so smart, I actually thought I may be at the wrong place. I didn't expect it to be that nice for the price I paid. It was a really nice room, and I loved the building.

A tiny thing happened that it's almost unfair to mention, but... I was excited to taste the beers they make on the premises. So I went to what I thought was the bar. But no staff acknowledged me. I waited at the bar for AGES trying to get the attention of the barman. He was right there but was spending an eternity dealing with two customers. Finally, another customer said to me that I couldn't be there and that his group had booked the entire place. How was I supposed to know? No sign, no warning from staff. The barman could have turned to me to mention that I was waiting in vain. Turns out I needed to go down a floor. But I had stood there for about 15 minutes and then been "evicted" rudely by a representative of "Team Austria". I found it ironic, but not in an amusing way.

Hotel was very nice. The location of it is perfect - close to the city centre and next to the railway station, also public transport is right next to it. The room was ok, maybe cleaning could be a little bit better. I would recommend to place some beer from your brewery to minibar. Breakfast was fine, but the egg Benedict was wet and not very tasty. The staff was great, kind and friendly. Especially big thanks to the man receptionist who really had taken care of us when in restaurant was some event. (We couldn’t go anywhere else because of sleeping baby.)

For 4* hotel… there could be something in the minibar.

The location was perfect for us as we arrived and departed Gdansk by train, and the station is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. It took about 10 to 12 minutes to walk to the historical sites. Our room was exactly as pictured, absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed that there was a restaurant and bar onsite as we enjoyed a drink after wandering around beautiful Gdansk all day.

The fire alarm went off early one morning, so we threw on our clothes and left the hotel only to find out it was a false alarm. Apparently, the front desk clerk on duty did not know how to shut off the alarm, nor did they make any announcement that it was a false alarm.

The hotel is very easy to find from the airport. The public bus no 210 from the airport stops almost directly opposite the hotel. The room was a good size with good quality furnishings -- and it had underfloor heating in the bathroom. There is a good selection of food every morning for breakfast. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful.

The menu for dinner at night could have been better. Did not cater enough for the non Polish guests. That was not really a problem though because there is no shortage of restaurants in Gdansk. The biggest downside for me was the proximity to an extremely busy and noisy road. But to be fair I am a light sleeper.

Hotel was very close to public transport links and a short walk into the old town. Room was excellent - good size and very clean. Excellent shower / bathroom, also very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful in the main hotel and bar. Breakfast selection was very good - best to get down early if wanting something from the hot selection.

Our room was at the front of the hotel so was quite noisy with trams going past from early morning. Had to resort to ear plugs to get a good night sleep. WiFi could be a bit hit and miss
