Perfect location for time of year winter/early spring. Not ideal for summer stay if want to be away from the noise of the central location. But for our January trip it was ideal and perfect. Friendly breakfast staff. Management team was easy to get in touch with. Rooms cleaned each day. Tidy & very clean. Great shower. Pool this time year was clean but bit cold due to low lying sun which can't be helped but would be enjoyable during later months of the year.

We were in No. 1 apartment down stairs. Quite noisy at times during the night, with upstairs toilet drains coming past walls of room and drains. Along with something on outside of wall going off during night twice most nights during stay, but for short time. One half of the double bed mattress was all sunked in, hard to lie on and sore. Springs gone. Otherside of bed was comfortable. Could do with new mattress. This was biggest discomft of the holiday. But can be easily changed. If returning I was seek a room upstairs.

Beautiful roof top terrace with pool and breakfast area, very central location in the old town (close walking distance to the beach), very friendly staff and daily cleaning, „pool house room“ (room with garden view) felt nicely private in December when we had most of the rooftop for ourselves with not too many guests visiting at the same time. Very welcoming atmosphere, delicious small breakfast on the rooftop terrace. All in all a Wonderful stay, thank you!

Off season it was perfect for us but i imagine it might be a bit noisy due to the central location during the main season (if you’re looking for a quiet vacation like we did). Breakfast was a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures but it was delicious and served with lots of love which was a heartwarming start into the day. The

We had a private cube, suite next to the pool and breakfast area. It was beautiful! Well decorated and great space!

Self check in was a DISASTER! We received no check in information and we were SO LUCKY that one of the cleaners was in the facility when we arrived and let us in. It took a very long time for her to get a hold of the person who was suppose to send us the check in info and get us a door code. If it wasn't for her - we would have had to find different accommodations because the host was not answering our calls or messages.

Casa Malpique is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town, surrounded by an array of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Although it's not accessible by car, the taxi drop-off point is just a short 5-minute walk away, making it easy to reach. Inside, the hotel offers a charming and cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The room was lovely—clean and well-appointed with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The rooftop pool is a highlight, providing stunning views of the area. It's an ideal spot to unwind, whether you're enjoying breakfast in the morning or relaxing in the evening after a day of exploring. Wi-Fi excellent, super strong and super fast

While breakfast offered plenty of coffee, tea, bread, butter, and jam, along with a selection of pastries like croissants, pain au chocolat, and pastel de nata, the options were quite limited. Each person received only one egg, one type of salami, and one type of cheese, which felt a bit too simple for our taste.

Very good position behind square, good value, nice clean room, breakfast on terrace outside by open air pool, only time we saw a girl who cooked eggs etc. No English. Good restaurant Zuca nearby. No staff, given code to get in front door & into room, you need to add open lock button to get in to room, this caused a few people problems as not mentioned. A TV in the room would have been an advantage as weather was not great in the evening for wandering about. Good email communication with owner.

We had a great stay! The property is very clean and impressively soundproof, especially considering its location near the Main Street. The pool and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even when we asked for extra items during breakfast. Highly recommend!

However, the photos uploaded by the hotel didn’t fully reflect our experience — some of them were a bit misleading or not entirely relevant to what we saw during our stay.

Location, only 30 seconds to the square in the old town. Very good breakfast and the staff were great. The room was very nice and was good to have a balcony. The pool was very refreshing, and the hotels were quite small and very quiet.

Nothing really, but you could hear the music from the square to the early hours, but this was tolerable due to the location. We loved our room but would not be too good for someone very elderly or disabled as the bed was on a mezzanine. We loved it.

Location was good and bad, good because of access to beach, restaurants, shops, bad because of proximity to downtown central bars and music that were hopping until 3am. Rooms were fine, compact, great breakfast, wonderful garden pool. Steep stairs at entry, but bicycles can be taken around back entrance and stored safely and securely.

The property was fine… outside noise a factor late st night, but guests are provided with ear plugs and we slept soundly.

What an absolute bargain. Really liked - Pool which was quiet and had fresh towels. - Buffet breakfast was really nice - Room was well appointed and turned down each day - Location absolute outstanding. The price vs what we got mean it was incredible good value.

It could be a little noisy, not terrible though. Room 3 wardrobe very small, it only opened a small amount. Minor issues at this price point though.

Lovely place. Self check in. Good location located in the old town steps from a main square with restaurants, shops, music, etc. Short walk to the beach and to my Flix bus stop. Close to pedestrian streets with lots of stores and places to eat. Excellent breakfast, rooftop pool with lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs. Just outside my room was a balcony with a view of the square. Helpful staff with excellent communication about how to check in.

I didn't dislike this, but my room had the bed up some steps in a loft, so if you have mobility issues or if you're very tall, select a room that doesn't have a loft bed.
