What I liked the most were the facilities: - 3 swimming pools, we only used the largest one which was very clean, not too much chlorine in water, very few people swimming in it - Bar and restaurant by the pool, Bar in the hotel - Large nice room and bathroom Also: - Safe and refrigerator in the room for free - Hair dryer, air conditioning, TV, very good Wi-Fi - Cleanliness and Daily cleaning - peace and quiet, pleasant staff, not too many guests in the first week of June - 300m to a beautiful swimmable Maria Luisa beach, other 3 beaches nearby - affordable restaurants with fresh and tasty food nearby - stores nearby (quite expensive though) The truth is I have been to 4* hotels, which did not provide that much comfort and such good facilities as Balaia Mar.

Mattrace was too hard for my taste, but you may use duvets or blankets which are in the wardrobe and lay on them. Swimming pool opened just till 19. Other than that, the hotel was perfect and will definitely be back when in Portugal, of course if they have rooms available.

Good sized comfortable rooms with bar fridge. 2 pools on site with the larger one away from the bar quieter.

A little bit out of the main town where the action is meant driving into town.

The pools were great, spotlessly clean. The food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and spacious .

Nothing really . There was a big tree outside our balcony , which seemed to be one of the smallest compared to the others. Would have preferred a different room with a sunbed as any of the other balconies we saw had.,

Room and balcony was pleasant. Pool was nice to sit by in the afternoon sun. Ideal distance from the busier Albuferia and a good walking distance to closer and smaller beaches.

The bed was the only thing letting the rooms down as mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The staff at reception and by the pool were incredibly friendly & helpful. The pool is perfect, always beds available and are cleaned regularly. Room was cleaned, beds were made & also fresh towels every morning. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Great place to stay & only 40mins from the airport.

Otherwise it was fabulous, all the staff were superb especially in the bar and restaurant area , couldn't do enough to help you , taking so much care with spacing and cleaning , everything is amazing value too .The hotel is consistently being cleaned ,the maids do a fantastic job making beds every day ,its fantastic value for money. We had a value room with breakfast ,you would not have known as it had plenty of space and a balcony. The breakfast was great ,your cooked items made and brought out to you .The reception staff were always helpful too.Its a great little find with a short walk to a beautiful beach, shop over the road, a few restaurants a little further and taxi cheap to visit a bit further afar .We were very weary of going due to covid but were soon put at ease with the restrictions and cleaning.

It's a little noisy from outside noise from the apartment blocks if in the garden pool area.But you can't hear it so much from main pool area .

Friendly staff, pool and bar by pool,reception 24 h a day, fridge in the room,terrace in the room, overall loved it,not a bad thing to say

The hotel is very close to the beach. There is two swimming pools. The room was spacious for 2 persons. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was also good. Staff were 5 stars. There was always parking space outside.

I liked everything.

A great pool, a nice hotel restaurant just above it, a room with a pool view. Location is also nice (the nearby beach Praia Maria Luisa is not the best beach at the Algarve, but the location is nice, near Falesia beach and out of too busy Albufeira)

The reception staff was not very eager to help.
