The apartment had everything we needed. Rooms were lovely and clean, and beds, including the sofa bed, were comfy. Clean towels were provided everyday which was great.

I did not use Wi-Fi for the duration of my stay because the connection was so weak and kept disconnecting. I luckily had plenty of mobile data which I used. Showers were tepid to cold, which was refreshing, however sometimes it is nice to have a cold shower. We raised this with reception but there was nothing they could do - it was due to the number of boilers and number of people staying. This was unfortunate but did not inhibit our stay.

The gardens and communal areas are well laid-out and maintained to a high standard. The food choices were excellent, and quality of fresh food is easily the best in the Algarve. Our room came with a lovingly tame house cat, which was a pleasant surprise, and we were sad to leave her behind. The staff is what makes this hotel a really great experience.

There are no covered walkways between the accommodation blocks and the restaurants and bars. When it rains you get soaked! All-inclusive absurdly means many things are off-limits or need extra payment, which isn’t really ALL-inclusive, is it? The advertised sauna and steam room was “under maintenance” throughout our four week stay and probably has been for years. There are two giant jacuzzis which are weirdly not heated. And the water is sub 10ºC. Not great at all. Why bother changing the water daily?

Our room was Block E and we had an amazing view of the sea and pool. We also praised how many staff members we seen constantly cleaning the place to ensure it was kept clean. Swimming pools being cleaned every morning aswell as the hot tub.

In the room the TV was standard with only 3 English stations. A lot of people go on holidays to drink every night and stuff but also people like to chill out in the evening and watch some TV. I'd recommend a smart TV feature with YouTube or netflix so that people aren't bored come the evening time especially with young kids.

Upon arrival, we've got a room in block K - the farthest and the worst block of the hotel near the Strip. But after a couple of super-noisy nights in that uncomfortable room, we asked for a change and a nice girl at Guest Relations offered us a cozy and pleasant room in a "secret" part of block E. It's right near the wonderful Oura beach, in a very quiet corner of the hotel. And I have to say that this change saved our vacation because the service and the food left much to be desired - the cleaning was bad and was provided only once during our stay, the breakfasts were good but the lunches and dinners much worse. So, I would recommend the hotel if only you stay in that calm part of block E, have only breakfasts, cook dinners by yourself in the fully equipped kitchen (or go out to dinner in a restaurant nearby), and enjoy the awesome beach right 100 meters from your terrace.

Loved loved the location, really beautiful coast, scene the REAL seaview from the balcony. Nice hotel, bit of paradise. Great service, good english and helpful. Good price package, the staff helped our luggage up to our room and helped as in a highend hotel. Also got a complimentary bottle of Muthu wine. Loved the food, in all inclusive you can have even a cocktail list, all included, but the 12 restaurant was not open only 6 to choose, but still precious and delicious :)) The bed was so comfy, huge, loved it. But not for couples no double, just twins..

1pool was closed, and under CONSTRUCTION all week along (started on our 1.day exactly and didnt finish...) :(( The open pool was very very COLD. And the jacussi too, way too cold, mot relaxing at all, ebven if it is too hot outside. You could hear on evenings if your next rooms using the bathroom, pipes are very noisy - old building, just upgraded. The main hotel square is bit of a mess, wanted too much in little space (hundred of statues, fountains and trees) too crowded, but down the Ocean bar, with huge space (party), not maintained, no programs (just outside at Mexican restaurants)

The fact that from now on we can only go inclusive which unfortunately does not suit as my husband has to adhere to certain foods only and I'm vegan so inclusive is not for us.We are 16 years going to c.p o and go 3 times a year.As your prices have gone up considerably it's unlikely we ll be able to book sept.and oct.with you as we normally do.We always looked forward to our holidays with you and your apartment and staff were always top class.Thank you for the many years we enjoyed with you.

I was upgraded to The Monicca Reception (MGM) part of the hotel. My room was beautiful and the balcony was out of this world as the view was breathtaking. There was complimentary coffee in reception and a coffee machine in the room with pods and my fridge had complimentary soft drinks and water. My room was cleaned everyday, and in the evenings a turn down service, they left chocolates on my bed each night and a weather report for the next day! The reception area is so classy, like a Dubai hotel. Maria on reception was very friendly and professional. Bruno helped carry all my suitcases to the top reception when I was leaving to get a taxi to the airport he was a very nice young man and very professional too. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such a magnificent view and would definitely recommend this part of hotel. I traveled alone but my friends were staying too in the main hotel so was a treat for them to come up to sit on the very large balcony. The breakfast was delicious with some much choice, was only 7 euros and buffet style eat all you want.

I liked everything and the beach was 2 seconds away.

Shower facilities inadequate once checked out prior to an 11pm flight. Dining standard of food differed vastly between the restaurants. Buffet dining area did not have AC and was like dining in a sauna. Totally lacking adequate sunbeds for the amount of people on resort. 3 pools really was 2 pools and one dedicated children's pool. Hit or miss with booking restaurants and availability.

This is my second stay here within this year. I love where the hotel is situated, right on the beach. The staff are amazing, very happy, helpful and a joy to have around. The breakfast is lovely, it has everything u would want. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. All in all a lovely experience.

I did whilst booking, ask for a specific room or side of the hotel, although upon arrival I was unable to have that room and was placed in the next block which i did not enjoy as much if i am honest. Having said that i do understand that they were fully booked and unfortunately that's just unlucky.

We had a great week, great room with a separate living area. WIFI was great all around the hotel. All inclusive was great, with a good choice of food. Enjoyed the theme nights. Unfortunately Indian night was no so great, but the rest was Wonderfull. Bar staff where very friendly, and the housekeeper who came in every days was very friendly. The access to the clean beach was great.

Very noisy at night, but the hotel can't do anything about this, and if you want to book a hotel by the strip, then you have to put up with it. Once locked up in bed, you can't hear the noise.
