The hotel and surroundings are beautiful. Everything's done with such great attention to detail and the owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool area is stunning with a great ocean view and there is plenty of space to lounge and enjoy the view, even on a rainy day. We loved it and would definitely come back to this unique and wonderful place. The nespresso coffee was not included in the original offering but was kindly offered by the owners to us.

The room was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. However, we felt that the bathroom lighting could be improved, as it was quite dim and lacked sufficient space or a flat surface for toiletries.

My husband and I loved our three night stay at Pocinhobay - we hated to leave and definitely plan to return for longer next time. Everything about the two bedroom villa in which we stayed was exceptional and top quality - roomy, comfortable, private, well-furnished kitchen, beautiful artwork throughout, gorgeous view from the wraparound deck/balcony. Loved using the outdoor shower under the stars. Loved the hot tub on the deck outside the master bedroom, and loved stretching out in the hammock, idly swinging while reading a book. Loved the daily, efficient, and friendly housekeeping service. Loved making myself an espresso to sip on the deck, enjoying the view, before going down to the dining room for the delicious breakfast with excellent service. Loved the time we spent relaxing and reading before venturing out to explore the island - great location for that! José and Luisa are gracious, friendly hosts, who clearly have put a lot of thought and effort into making their guests feel comfortable, pampered, and happy. I verify that they have been very successful at that!

We stayed 3 nights and absolutely adored the place. Fantastically located and so close to nature, this place seems part of nature itself. Hosts were amazing and made our Pico experience very special. I’m positive we’ll be back next year

The hosts were so friendly and provided helpful recommendations for our stay on Pico. The property itself is amazing and classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. It had a beautiful community room with hammocks, pool and lounge chairs, and trails through the old vineyards that you can walk. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. Right across the street is an ocean swimming pool that we enjoyed watching the sunset from.

The owners are very nice and super helpful! The hotel has an unrivaled charm!! The pool area is amazing!!!

Nothing in particular, except that the beds were separated from me and my wife. But we got the matresses together. That was ok!

This property is in a perfect location and the owners are charming and very attentive - Prestine and decorated with absolute perfection which represents the history of Pico so well. Comfortable and spotless. Every small detail is thought of. Absolutely loved our stay and already making plans to come back soon.

The property was gorgeous, the owners are well traveled and have a beautiful sense of design. We stayed in one of the private villas and it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location is close to the main town and has access to the water.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful villas and fantastic scenery.

However for the price you pay you anticipated a bit more of the breakfast.

We stayed in one the villas. It was extremely private and there was so much attention to detail. The gardens are lovely. The outdoor shower was my favorite.
