It's a great place if you plan to chill on the property. It has nice pools, sauna, even mini-market. There are two cafes and a great Miradouro restaurant within a walking distance from the place so there's an alternative to eating in the restaurant on the property. Breakfasts were also quite good, variety of pastries, juices, eggs and bacon available. It's a nice location to explore the island from if you have a car and are comfortable with driving.

The drive to the hotel is nightmarish, all uphill for several kilometers from the highway, we've seen tow trucks on the road to the hotel every day. The wifi is good only at the reception building, in the room both wifi and local mobile network are barely enough to send text messages. There's quiet time on the property, but it's not enforced, so we've had to sleep with closed windows for one night when neighbours decided to party late in the room.

The sea views, the friendly and helpful staff. We liked the fact they included transportation to 4 very good restaurants. There was also shuttle to Funchal. Also we found their market had plenty of variety and the prices seemed reasonable. Overall our family loved our Madeira vacation.

The view from the balcony was stunning! The apartment has a huge balcony with a table and four lunge chairs. The property, grounds and pool was very nice. The location was good but I highly recommend a car, there is not too much in the immediate area of the resort. Overall, the resort is a great base for exploring Madeira.

They charged for pool towels and we had to leave a 30 euro deposit for a coffee machine. I thought this was a little odd.

2 bed apartments are a good size for a family. the facilities were great. mini golf, oversize chess/draughts, pool, full size snooker table, table tennis, tennis, games room were all great and with no additional charge. the view was breathtaking. staff were fantastic.

there’s not much to do in the evenings. there are 4 local restaurants that run a bus service, and the main restaurant make 5. but apart from that, you need to drive or take a taxi. I feel that they are missing a trick. if the pool bar was open in the evenings with some entertainment then I’d happily spend some time (and money) on evening drinks. we ended up making use of the DVD library after dinner and having drinks in the apartment. it’s a little disappointing, and I don’t think it would take much to make it a bit more lively in the evenings.

Great location with ocean views. Large clean apartment with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Free parking is available near the entrance. There is a lot of entertainment on site: cafes, tennis, mini golf, board games, heated pools. Friendly staff.

There are only two small pieces of soap for our whole family. It's terrible for a good-level hotel. Is it really impossible to give guests shower gel in sufficient quantity? A very strange economy. And more. The photo on the site is still different from reality. The view of the ocean from the balcony is slightly obscured by the building in front

The location is good, the facilities, and room are great. Plenty of parking space. Cabo Girao literally 1 minute on foot from reception.

8/10 because we were late 10 minutes past 10pm and guard at reception was drunk and didn't help us to check in (even property left keys in letter), no one responded using phones found in booking. So first night we have to rent different place. We marked in booking that we might come later than 10pm but didn't communicated how we have to checkin then. It's hard to make the sauna hot, it's even kind of cold because there are too big holes in it.

It was an unforgettable stay! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect - close to attractions, but at the same time in a quiet and peaceful area, which allowed us to have a relaxing break. Additionally, the presence of a mini market, bar and restaurant on site made our life easier and meant that we didn't have to look far for delicious meals. The rooms were not only clean, but also very well equipped, which increased the comfort of our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation spot, and we are already planning our next stay here

Very spacious room with everything You need, spacious balcony, good sport facilities: big tennis, table tennis, mini golf, etc.., good pools, good food in the pool cafe. Wi-fi speed suits for work. Quality of air outside here is on the top level! Very peaceful and quite place. And as always - amazing stuff, You are really the best here and always ready to help!

Let's say so: if You don't have ocean view then it's now a bit expensive for that hotel - so for sure check that You book room with sea view. During that stay (that's our 3-d stay) had some troubles with spa (cold water in the jacuzzi, showers on 31.12.23) and room facilities (broken kitchen stuff, wi-fi, safe) - yes, all named were fixed next day, but during the holidays it's annoing to discus couple days the problems, what appearing one by one.

Great apartments, beautiful views and great amenities. Has nice swimming pool and tennis courts (free of charge). It was great to be able to borrow DVDs to watch movies, they have a great collection. Location wise it is a short drive to Funchal, and around 30min drive to the airport. It is good location to go both east and west of the island for day trips. The Cabo Girao cliff is just a few min walk!

The road to get to the resort is a bit difficult, so bear that in mind. However, unless you stay in Funchal you will encounter these type of roads across the island.

- The restaurant food isn’t good at all, we tried it once and we regret it. There are better restaurants around cheaper and testier, also the restaurant service it is not good either, looks like they are rushing and not really care of you. I would suggest some improvements! - The apartment could have been better cleaned and refreshed during the stay ( no soap, no change of towels, no change of bedding in 7 days ) - Two jacuzzi would have been great because if the place get fully booked you will not be able to use it. - only two splits works in the jacuzzi so only one person can use it at the time
