I rented a 1 bedroom self catering apartment in the resort and it was absolutely devine. It was very spacious with everything I needed. It consisted of a fully stocked kitchen with oven, stove top, fridge, microwave and washing machine. It had an open plan lounge / dining room with aircon / heater with a big balcony and stunning views of the sea and sun shining in all day. The 1 bedroom had 2 super comfortable single beds and a cupboard and aircon/heater and hair dryer station. The bathroom has bath and shower and basin as well as a heater. Water pressure was great and warm. The resort itself was very quiet, it's was so peaceful and welcome break. It has 3 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, tennis courts, table tennis tables scattered all over in the beautiful gardens and much more. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the best cappuccino at the coffee shop on site. The store on site was also well stocked and I was able to buy all the groceries I needed for the 5 nights stay. Reception staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and spoke good English. There are stunning walks from the resort along the cliff tops and sea with the most amazing views and sunsets. Cannot wait to be back.

Well laid out and beautifully landscaped self contained resort with lots of onsite facilities heated pool. tennis courts etc. Onsite Restaurant serves exceptional food and well worth visiting. Other restaurants just out side both entrances to the site more casual but also good. Houses with sea views well worth booking for the great views. Ample onsite parking outside most residences.

Uk TV channels not consistently available during the stay. Water turned off by local water company two mornings during the week for repairs. Only notification a message on reception window. Two supermarkets. One on site at main entrance quite expensive. Second a Spar just outside rear entrance better value. Best for a bigger shop is the international hypermarket on the way into/ out of Carvoeiro but you need a car. Resort is quite difficult to find. Would recommend first timers to take a taxi from Faro Airport ( Approx 50 Km ) and hire a car in the resort reception.

Beautiful resort, nature, swimming pools, close to the ocean. Low buildings area. Reception available 24h which is very comfortable for the late flights.

High prices in the local supermarkets in the resort compared to the supermarkets in the city ( Laboa or Carvoeiro).

Nice facilities the compound itself nice and tidy the plant and the view were amazing

This place is quiet and friendly. There are 4 pools on site ranging from the big main one to three smaller pools very close to accommodation areas. The balcony was large with a big table and plenty of chairs allowing for relaxed BBQ evenings. Rocha brava is located within walking distance of our two favourite beaches in Algarve - Centianes and Carvalho. There's two coffee shops on site, a restaurant and two more just outside the gate - all are good. You'll probably need a car to get the most benefit as it is not located close to town. Frankly it was a perfect choice for us.

the bathroom area was a little "old" - perhaps the shower needs an upgrade but it was very clean and well maintained so no real criticism.

Well located, lots of amenities, plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen had all the dishes, utensils, pots & pans, cooking tools that we needed. Laundry machine very helpful. We also enjoyed the pool almost every day. The supermarket was very handy, as was the cafe and the restaurant on property. An easy drive to Carvoeiro for exploring. Also very nice to have a cleaning service once during our 4-day stay. A very good value for accommodations.

It would have been nice to have a few things stocked in the kitchen. I had to buy olive oil, coffee, laundry soap, napkins, cleaning rags. There was one small bottle of shampoo and one small bottle of shower gel, which wasn't really enough for our family. Everything is available at the resort supermarket, but it seemed a bit of a waste to buy a bottle of olive oil and only use 1/4 of it. Still, we felt Rocha Brava was a very good value for what we paid.

The resort is very well maintained. The gardens are beautiful, and the views of the cliffs and the sea are exceptional. They provide a shuttle service to Cavoiero which is very convenient. the staff at reception are very friendly and helpful.I

In the winter the outdoor pools are not available. The restaurant and the pool bar aren't open either, but there are other restaurants open nearby. There is also a snackbar and suoer markets open.

It was in the middle of the cliff walk. Stunning views!! The resort is very big. Beautiful pool area. Note: There is a bus stop literally around the corner from the property that can take you to Benigil Caves, Portimão ($9 for two people) or other towns. It is not advertised. You don’t need to take a taxi ($60). They have excursions available at the front desk. Friendly people. Cafe and restaurant. we went to the Lighthouse Restaurant (short walk) which had an amazing view on the terrace. BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS!! You can watch the sunset.

The shuttle that goes three times a day went to the same location. There were sugar ants in the kitchen. but they quickly took care of it. 👍🏽

The property offered a number of great amenities onsite with restaurant options, several pools and fitness facilities. Gardens were well maintained and beautiful. Views and access to the seven hanging cliffs trail was excellent and added security for the property was appreciated. Good space and amenities in the accommodations. Includes air conditioning units for hot days and a fireplace for cold days.

A bit dated in the unit itself where it could benefit from a few new items including updated bathroom fixtures and lights.

Big pool, central location to beaches and caves, multiple restaurants within walking distance, air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of free parking on site. I’d definitely stay here again!

Apartments aren’t the cleanest (we found moldy bread in the cupboards and floors hadn’t been mopped), staff is slow (but friendly), gym is €35 for a week pass and has almost no equipment. None of this would keep me from staying here in the future…well, maybe the moldy bread part because that was really disgusting.
