I particularly liked and appreciated very much the staff professionalism, friendliness and willingness to help, no matter what requests. They were all really dedicated employees and I hope that the hotel will offer them opportunities to grow in their careers, because they all surely deserve it.

I asked and paid the extra amount for a room with a view to the ocean, and my room was right on the corner and I could only see a tiny bit of the sea, but I had the fantastic view of the Monte with its funicular going up and down, so that was just as rewarding and I did not bother to ask the kind staff to change the room, because I was mostly outside anyway discovering the enchanting city of Funchal. So, it was all worth it in the end.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, staff absolutely amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We spend there 8 nights and we didn´t have one problem. The room clean, neat, simple. Everything what we needed we had. The hotel is situated in nice quiet location, 8 minutes walk from the ocean and restaurants. You can park there, not for free, but you can find a place close to the hotel around 5 minutes walk also. I high recommend...

I loved the way I was welcomed by Tania, at the front desk. She's very professional and kind. The bed is very comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The view from my balcony was great. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety of fruits and different pastries, breads, etc.

There was nothing that I didn't like actually. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very fast and easy check-in and check-out. About the room - the size was good, nice colours, clean and tidy. The area is perfect. The hotel is located on a very quiet street but it's very close to the market, shops and all the attractions! Big thumb up here.

When it comes to breakfast... yeah. I can't say it was bad, however, every day is the same. Would be good to have a bigger/different range of products. Don't get me wrong - the quality of the food was excellent just boring sometimes. The second thing - is the internet. A nightmare sometimes. Also, no Netflix in TV? LOL

The hotel was modern, clean, and within walking distance to most sites in the old city.

Nice, comfortable rooms, everyday's cleaning. Extra localization close to the city centre, ocean, restaurants. Amazing rooftop view with Friday-Saturday live music. Nice swimming pool on the roof. Very friendly staff 🙂

Quite monotonous breakfast, but everyone can find something for him. There is no private parking, but we've got some tips and map from reception staff where to park car close to the hotel and there was no problem during our one week stay.

Nothing at all We had booked one week just,intending to move but decided to say second week for all of the above reasons

T There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel Wife& my mum was a little disappointed as there was plenty of tea in room but no coffee They don't drink tea When we asked at reception they gave them 1 sashet each& that was it in the 6 nights we where there

Where do I start, from moment, I walked in, I was greeted with friendly helpful staff. I took the lift to my room, which was single room however there were two single beds spacious big room and bathroom, balcony, overlooking the mountains, city of Funchal, the catheral, storyland the ocean and cruise terminal :) The balcony was spacious. Air con, fridge, TV, hair dryer/ kettle all worked effectively The room was cleaned daily to a high standard The location was fabulous justa few stops in from euro airport bus costing 5 euros or 8 return, the boat trips at marina and cable car, farmers market, cathedral all literally minutes walk. The staff were some of the best I have come across in the industry. Over the last decade at least I have stayed in a lot of hotels for work and pleasure and have high expectations A genuine compassion, understanding and willingness to serve was common thread among all staff. An absolute delight, can't wait to come back and know were I will be staying. Breakfast was fresh fruit, salad, cheese, ham, cerals, breads, maderia cake, hot and cold drinks and cooked breakfast The roof top pool and area was a real treat 10 out of 10 to staff especially the two sweetest gentleman one who helped me with the nightmare I had with vaitor and canceling my trips and the other unconditional support and honestly and compassion when I left my bag at bus stop I wish I could remember their names :)

wifi in my room wasn't the best I get a little concious eating alone, i would loved to have been able to take my breakfast to my room, so nothing majore just personal preference

great location in Funchal within easy walking distance of all sights, rooms have nice balconies and are modern and well equipped, super roof top pool with nice views of the city, good selection for breakfast, friendly staff

no hotel parking available (so had to find a spot on the street), and surprisingly breakfast is served in a basement (why isn’t breakfast served at the beautiful rooftop facilities is something I struggle to understand…)
