The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist me when I forgot something in my room, organizing its delivery back to me. The room was clean, quiet at night, and the location was perfect, with the beach, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.

The position,close to the old town and if you pay a little extra for the front rooms that over look the marina even better.

The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. Not uncommon for Europe, also fairly compact and there was only one occasional chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed. Our room faced the bus station, so while the view wasn't noteworthy, our room was quiet. Very modern amenities, and a beautiful rooftop terrace that faces the marina. The bathroom has a huge soaking tub, heavenly after a long day of walking. Very friendly, helpful staff. The location great in that it faces the marina, but the beach is a 15-20 minute walk, just something to keep in mind depending on what one is bringing/if you have children.

The hotel is very secure because ones room card is necessary to open the elevator door in addition to the room. But it also must remain in the slot by the door to keep everything electrical in the room running. Great for conservation, but not for climate control, as the a/c (or heat) goes off when the card is removed. Our room was quite warm when we returned to it the first day and it took a while to get comfortable again. Because there were two of us, we subsequently left one key card in the slot when we left so the a/c would remain on. The hotel offers breakfast, but at 12.50 euro per person per day, we opted not to take advantage. A bit pricey. In fairness, I don't know what was offered, so it might have been incredible, but we aren't huge breakfast eaters so it was an easy decision.

They provide all the extras. Coffee maker, coffee pods, kettle, fridge, corkscrew as well as toiletry items. Easy walk to old town. Easy parking in lot next door for 3 euro a day in the off season. Good insulation so quiet at night once the windows are closed

Difficult to adequately control the room temperature, complicated system. Has a nice balcony but the street noise makes it somewhat unpleasant to sit out and there was also a sewage smell at certain times.

The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable and had a beautiful vie of the marina. The greeting from the front desk was friendly and welcoming. I am forever grateful that housekeeping found my good camera in the room and caught me as I was checking out. The cameras is worth a lot, but the memory card held irreplaceable wonderful memories of my visit to the Algarve and other places in beautiful Portugal.

The breakfast was continental with freshly squeezed orange juice really good there was a selection of fruit yogurt fresh pastries cheese and meats and either scrambled egg or fried eggs well presented and fresh every day we had a twin room with marina view it' was beautifully presented very comfortable beds exceptionally clean it was the best sleep we have had in a hotel really quiet at night and the view was 5 star rating The staff were super friendly and ready to help at any time I would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel location was excellent, being across from the marina, and a short walk to the old city. Our room faced the bus station behind the hotel, and was very quiet. The small rooftop pool and lounge area was a nice bonus. Breakfast was excellent, and because we had an early departure on our last day, the staff arranged an early breakfast available for us. Rita, who worked at the front desk, was very personable and helpful. We enjoyed the boat ride we booked through the hotel. The recommended restaurant, Reis, was great, a lovely family run establishment that served delicious cataplana! The hotel is conveniently located close to both the bus and train stations.

The location was perfect for excursions and just a short walk into the heart of the town. The staff at the hotel was exceptionally friendly. They truly care about the experiences of their guests! They also care about the job they do. The room was immaculate. The cleaning staff and front desk staff were so excellent and welcoming. We enjoyed the calming light blue color scheme of the room.

Some features of the facilities appeared dated, but everything seemed to function well. The bathrooms would bring this place to a new level if updated. Also, the bed set-up was such for two people made up as two separate beds. This was the only hotel we stayed in during our visit in Portugal set up quite like this.

Beautiful view, great location, friendly staff. Room service did a great job too in freshening up the room daily. Small hotel. Loved the pool - felt like a private pool at times as it was quiet. Worth money for location and pay for the marina view, the sunrise was beautiful. Got a little nippy on the evening on that side but not much that can be done about the weather!

Very small point but would have liked a few extra cartons of milk in the morning, but I know if I’d have asked these would have been provided anyway.

The location was perfect for us: close to the marina, with a great view of the marina, and within walking distance of everything. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. We could park in front of the hotel with the help of the desk staff since everything we did was within walking distance. We did not use the breakfast because we planned our activities early or later based on their hours. We found All Things Dough R. Cidade de Torres Vedras 16 8600-744 Lagos Portugal, the perfect place for coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls that we visited daily.
