We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were incredibly professional at all points, and were extremely accommodating to our every need (welcome drink, early check-out and flexible breakfast, etc). The room was fabulous and exactly what we were hoping for - the AC was great, as was the WiFi. The room we had was silent at night, and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was also super - there was plenty of choice, and it varied each day which was a change from other hotels we have stayed at. Towels were provided as well as all bedding, and the room was thoroughly cleaned before our stay and tidied during it. The terrace in our room was lovely to sit out on in the evening, and the reception and entrance rooms were very welcoming (and brilliantly decorated). The hotel strives for perfection, and for our week-long stay it definitely achieved it. We would like to thank the staff for their amazing service before, during and after our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and will be sure to stay here if we return to Lisbon. Muito obrigado!

The hotel is pretty much perfect, but as other guests have mentioned the carpet in our room could do with changing. Otherwise, super!

A really lovely hotel in a great location! The staff were fabulous, the breakfast was excellent. It had a lovely living room with a bar where they gave you free glasses of wine in the evening, a real bonus, and a nice place to meet and chat with other guests. It's beautifully done out and really comfortable. The room was up in the attic (not suitable if you have mobility issues as there is no lift, but fine for us) and had two terraces looking out over the street which was lovely. A huge comfortable bed and a separate sitting room bit, the bathroom was perfect too.

One switch controlled both the bedside lights in the bedroom - this is a bugbear of mine! Allow people control of their own bedside lights! The carpet in the sitting room area needed replacing or a rug on it as it had lots of spots where it had been cleaned and looked rather dirty. Otherwise nothing, it was a really great hotel.

Great stay. Location was walkable to a lot of the attractions (within 0-2 miles), bars, and restaurants. We were greeted with a welcome drink (glass of white wine and pastel de nata) and friendly faces. This was at the end of our trip so it was a great way to end our tour of the country.

Overheard some disrespectful comments from some of the workers during breakfast regarding some of us showing up towards the end of the breakfast hour (10-15 mins before 10, which there was still some food and drink leftover). Felt unwelcomed / dismissed at the moment. Other than that the rest of the staff was great and helpful.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, every effort was made to meet our requests. The rooms and bathroom are of a very comfortable size. The choice at breakfast was good and fresh, even gluten free bread was available. Location is central in the old town and there is a stop of the famous tramline 28 right outside. There are numerous small restaurants and shops in the area. Although it is probably a 20 minute walk to the top main tourist places. I think it was good value for money in the centre of a European capital city.

The rooms facing the road are nice but potentially noisy for a light sleeper since every time the tram passes by there is loud rambling in the room which can be very disturbing for some. The tram starts around 7am. We decided to accept a downgrade which was their last room but it was facing the inner courtyard and was blissfully quiet!

Marvellous hotel with brilliant staff, great breakfast and great location. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had all the facilities you could need. All the staff was very efficient and friendly, going above and beyond to help, and making my birthday extra special with a surprise treat. The breakfast had everything you could want, fresh and delicious food, great coffee and daily changes of menu. The location was brilliant, on a nice street in the city centre, we could walk everywhere we needed to be from there. Overall we had a wonderful experience that we'd recommend to anyone.

Breakfast starts quite late, at 8 pm, and since we had activities booked every day and had to leave around 7, we had to skip it half the time we were there, which was unfortunate.

this was the second time in the hotel, and we think it is one of the best places to stay in Lisbon .nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. you can walk to the center or take the tram that stops in front. plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood . Supermarket at 20 meters.

coffee at breakfast is not the best, but at the end of the street you will find a good coffee shop to wake you up with a good cortado coffee. in the morning it can be a bit noisy from the street from replenishment of the supermarket,

The personal care and attention by the staff were outstanding. Cristina, at the front desk, set up reservations for me at a local restaurant and gave wonderful suggestions of places to visit and directions. I really enjoyed the walkability of the surrounding neighborhood and nearby cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. The tram is right outside of the door and makes transportation easy and convenient. My room which had a single bed was big, roomy, and comfortable.

The walls are fairly thin so you can hear the neighbors tv and conversations. Therefore, if it's too loud or they are up too late it can be disturbing. You are in the middle of a lively neighborhood so expect that there will be lots of activity going on outside of your window once the day begins.

I could write an essay on just how wonderful it was to stay at the Dear Lisbon Gallery House. Everything, from the moment we checked-in to our check-out, was absolute perfection. Never have I met a more caring and kind team. Everyone who I spoke with at the hotel showed my brother and I the upmost grace. We were welcomed with mini pastel de nata (Which was delicious) and then the staff helped us lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs. They all provided us with ample recommendations and even booked us a reservation at a local eatery. They were forthcoming with their advice and so pleasant to talk to. The hotel is also located in a great part of town. The breakfast was scrumptious and their pastries were to die for! The room itself was spacious and I loved that we had a balcony, the toiletries were Rituals (!!!) which was such a lovely touch. Catarina, Lulu, and all of the other staff members who helped me and my brother, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this such a special stay in Lisbon.

Breakfast was delightful and a great way to start everyday. The hotel also has fruit-infused water and pastries in the lobby, which was lovely after a long day out exploring. The staff were very helpful and they were so accommodating when we arrived close to midnight after our flight was delayed. The room was very spacious, the bed was big and so comfortable, and daily housekeeping was great. There was a beautiful balcony and the hotel itself felt unique.

There was no lift/elevator so if you have large luggage it is a bit tricky to take up and down (even though staff offered to help). The carpet has lots of stains even though you can tell it's clean, it was off-putting seeing lots of marks on the floor in the room. The lighting in the bathoom was also not very good, so putting on make up was difficult. The location is good but not in the main area, but still good if you're ok to walk 10-20 mins to bigger restaurants and attractions.

Hotel was located in a great spot that is walking distance to most dining areas, extremely attentive staff who graciously helped me carry my heavy luggage up to the room. Stayed for over a week and when I was under the weather, they checked in on me and help with food delivery to the room. Highly recommend them for service and comfort.

Nothing to complain about here. Not sure why people are complaining about the lack of elevators - most heritage buildings in Europe don't come with elevators and that is part of the appeal.
