The treatment is magnificent, from arrival to departure. The hotel is small which means they can pay attention to everything. Room was clean and spacious. Free shuttle from the airport is very convenient. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were excellent with the most gorgeous views. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My wife and I stayed in Albatroz for our honeymoon. It is hard to explain how beautiful and perfect everything was. From kindness of the staff, the food, the beautiful nature and beautiful resort facilities it is hard to point out the best thing. Hotel is amazingly quiet, despite being close to the airport. Both pools are great, and the view from the cliffs is unreal. The restaurant is top notch, and they serve variety of local dishes and amazing fresh fish. Internet was great, and all amenities as well. We will definitely visit again and we hope soon.

Without a hire care it is difficult to get anywhere. That said we didn’t want to go anywhere and to just relax.

When we entered the Albatroz we were immediately captivated by the breathtaking view of the sea from the lobby. The natural pool is truly stunning and has direct access to the sea. Every dip was a moment of relaxation, adding to the hotel's overall sense of tranquillity. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delicious cuisine. Every meal was a culinary delight, complemented by impeccable service from the friendly staff who anticipated our every need. Here we found the perfect blend of natural beauty and luxury, creating memories that will stay with us long after we leave. We'll be back! :))

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety to choose from, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. It was a perfect start to the day. The bedroom was spacious and equipped with everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. On top of that, I was delighted to receive a free upgrade on my arrival, which made the experience even more special. The hotel's location is simply stunning. No matter where you are on the property, you're greeted with breathtaking ocean views, which added a serene and tranquil vibe to my stay. The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were incredibly courteous, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces, making me feel truly welcome and valued as a guest. The sea pool was the prettiest I have ever seen, and it was such a good feeling swimming there. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious getaway. I can't wait to return!

The staff. They were brilliant - they made us feel incredibly welcome and their service was excellent. We had a wonderful meal in the restuarant, our room was large and very comfortable with ocean views and the proximity to the airport (3 minutes away) made it very convenient. From the time of my call to the hotel car pulling up at the airport terminal building was around 5 minutes. Fantastic!

We could not find fault with anything and when we next need a overnight stay between flights we will definitely stay here.

The first thing that struck me about the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club was its breathtaking location. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the views from the hotel are nothing short of spectacular. Whether I was sipping my morning coffee on the terrace, lounging by the pool, or enjoying a meal at one of the on-site restaurants, I was constantly in awe of the stunning vistas that surrounded me. My stay at the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club in Madeira was an extraordinary experience. The combination of the stunning location, luxurious accommodations, outstanding dining, and exceptional staff made it a trip to remember. If you're looking for a place to unwind, rejuvenate, and soak in the beauty of Madeira, I can wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a hotel. I can't wait to return to the Albatroz and create more wonderful memories in this paradise by the sea.

Very small 5 star hotel with very personal attention and very calm. Excellent restaurant and very good breakfast and good coffee. Nice ocean water swimming pool. Very big rooms with an amazing view!

I was afraid that it would be noisy due to the airport but it was not noisy at all, it was surprisingly quiet. Every once in a while one did smell that kerosene from the airplanes but it really was not disturbing,

The location of the place, it is very secluded, loved it! The big pool and swimming in the ocean, it is worth every penny spent on it. I was swimming in the big pool (it is really big), tanning most of the time and watching the ocean. It was dreamy and very relaxant. There is only one restaurant on the property, but it is perfect! I loved the sea food&fruits and the service, too. The hotel staff was exceptional from the gardners, cleaners, receptionists, and waiters/waitress to the manager. I haven't seen this kind of attention to detail in the other 5 star hotels. It was easy to contact them via texts and phone, too, before I arrived. They replied promptly every time. Frankly, I was not expecting it at all. Most big 5 star hotels get lost with attracting a lot of people, way too commercial. Here, the hotel staff works like a team. They are very helpful, polite, and respectful. If you don't like something, they are open to listening to you and improving their service. In this hotel, you can have some really luxurious experience. This place has its charm. It is very special. I can only recommend this place if you look for a calm, luxurious place to rest and enjoy the ocean. I highly recommend the spa, having a massage, and a tennis instructor if you like to play tennis;-) (My photos below are from outside;-)

The hotel is in a quiet location, not too many guests made the stay very comfortable. The sea swimming pool is great, and also access to sea swim as well. Rooms are big albeit decor is somewhat dated. Breakfast and dinner in front of the sea is unique. Everything is very good.

Due to the location nearing the airport, it smells gasoline quite often, which is a bit worrying. Access to public transportation is difficult, hence renting a car is a good way to go about. Room decor is quite dated.
