A truly American hotel in Portugal. Tea/coffee service and mini-fridge in the room as well as free parking, sufficient linens for each guest and wash cloths. There were welcome cookies and water in the room. Bathroom was very thoughtfully redone and there were lots of electrical and charging options as well as a large window that tilted open to allow fresh air. Lots of options to control the level of lighting in all areas. Although I was not there on business this time, it would be a very comfortable room for a business traveler. Lots of seating options, large closet with iron and safe, almost no street noise when the windows are closed and sufficient space for the luggage of 2 people (but probably not 4). Very friendly and professional staff. The other guests seemed friendly and happy to be there. If you stay in enough hotels in Europe you’ll appreciate that exchanging smiles and greetings in the hallway can be uncommon - not so at this hotel. Genuinely happy guests! The bar/lounge area seemed popular among other guests. Lots to do in the surrounding area!

I asked about parking before checking in. The instructions were utterly useless when I arrived so I paid for (very reasonably priced) on-street parking before learning of the parking garage. Later decided to use the garage but staff did not warn that entry to garage curves (twice) and the entrance is steep, so you’re entering almost blind and it is difficult to see the correct path. Ended up damaging the bumper. Entirely my fault and the street parking would have been much cheaper. Only a comforter on the bed and no separate sheet that I noticed, so I had to lower the temperature to avoid overheating.

The location was excellent as it was very close to where the guest would be working. The breakfasts were apparently really good. A free bottle of water was provided every day, just little things that go a long way. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the rooms extremely comfortable.

Everything was fine. The person I booked in is extremely fussy but he had no complaints about anything related to the hotel.

I did not stay at the hotel and am responding on behalf of the guests I booked in. I had really good feedback about the hotel as a whole but the breakfast was a big hit and everyone enjoyed it.

Nothing really. The beds were comfortable, the food was really good, the management spoke good English but we had a Portuguese staying over and so was useful.

-very comfortable bed. I am quite particular about mattresses- not too firm, medium mattress. Slept very well. -clean modern room. -Good value for money.

-we choose this hotel due to price. Very reasonable. We stayed here for a city break in Porto. It is a 30/40 minute bus ride away. Regular buses- so was not an issue for us. But can see location being an issue for most.

It was conveniently located, just a short walk from the beach, and next door to a supermarket! It has its own cafe bar that serves food all day, and is also surrounded by local eateries, so we were spoilt for choice. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the whole place had a clean, fresh smell. We especially enjoyed the convenience of spending some time in the sea, and being able to clean up back at the hotel!

Breakfast was excellent which catered for everyone. Hotel location near to the beach and only 8km to city Oporto

There was not really any A la carte food menu in the evening and although the bar area food was good, a greater selection would have been appreciated. Why not make more use of the breakfast area to include evening dining?

The breakfast was very good, the omelettes were particularly good. The location near the beach was perfect, just one block away. The tram and bus stops was also very close by. The staff, especially in reception, were very helpful. Loved the little touches like the free cordial drinks available in the reception area. The rooms themselves were a good size and the kitchenette a useful addition.

We have no complaints but if there was something that could improve the breakfast is maybe another coffee machine.

Very comfortable bed great shower with hot water.Close to the beach and shops.

Breakfast not great and diner either we did not enjoy any of it. On the description of a room was information about kitchen stove and microwave which wasn't there. There's no option of changing the temperature in a room as it was set on default 19 degrees had to ring front desk to change it for us.

Room was bright,airy and quiet,fair breakfast selection with something for all tastes,the bar area was very nice with a large array of drinks and a good food menu,very friendly and helpful staff,close to beach and restaurants

The only thing that was slightly negative was the very steep ramp to the underground parking but otherwise could not fault hotel

It was immaculate and the staff was so nice! Breakfast was amazing and the fruit was great. Linens, pillows, sound isolation, everything super comfortable.

Maybe the food (room service) could be improved. I couldn’t find the option to just turn the AC off. Because the windows don’t totally open it was a bit too hot.
