We've been to Prainha Clube many times. We love the location. The apartments are very clean and self-contained. We always go for the sea view as it's lovely to sit on the balcony each evening to see the lovely sunsets. The staff are really pleasant too and very helpful. The facilities in the grounds are great with a lovely pool overlooking the Atlantic and also a great bar and seafood restaurant onsite too overlooking the sea

The sunbeds are overpriced at the pool overlooking the sea. If they were reduced, more people might use them

Huge property, beautiful beach, friendly staff, very quiet and relaxing. We were surprised by the beautiful, spacious villa. The top terrace was huge !!! With a wonderful view of the pool and ocean!!

The only complaint is that the room which by the way a beautiful villa, was not very well equipped as far as having the first coffee pods, some napkins, some pods for the dish washer. In all the other airbnbs we got a starter pack at least.

Had a lovely room, but we paid enough to get it, have been here before, it's a bit tired, could do with a bit of attention to detail

Parts of the pool, by the hotel tiles are damaged, and the tiles around the atlantic pool, are definitely a trip hazard. Grass around the 21 euro beds and umbrella is just muck and ants nests.

It's been my 4th time staying in prainha. I asked for the same apartment as last year, philippe kindly checked us in, we arrived early and our apartment was ready absolutely beautiful and so clean. Staff so nice Angela, Anna, Rebecca and Marie Anna so lovely. All staff are so friendly. Food at hotel restaurant excellent. Resort beautiful highly recommend we will be back again next year.

Return visit - we enjoyed our stays previously. Great location, slightly out of Alvor so a good stroll into town.

We were not advised that a new charge has been introduced to use the sunbeds at the pool (not the pool beside the hotel - the scenic pool near the cliffs). The charge is excessive, most people lie on the grass instead! We paid the charge on the first day as we were not made aware, on checking in, that there was a charge.

The beach is gorgeous and very close. The facilities for kids were great. The restaurant in the hotel was our highlight. The morning buffet set us up for the day. The meals were delicious. Monica is a fantastic hostess and went above and beyond when it came to the kids. We were made feel at home and part of the family. If we were to rate the restaurant on its own it would be an eleven.

The room was our only detractor from the holiday. The bathroom had a leak which was fixed. Later in the holiday the weather was bad and a window leaked in the bedroom.

Quiet location within waking distance of the sea. Facilities were good and the staff were helpful.

Apparently, few hotels in Portugal offer free WiFi in the rooms, which is rather out of line with other countries. Hotel rates can be high, so it is best to buy a data only SIM with unlimited downloads for 20 Euros for 15 days.

We loved everything really, quiet location, our room had a balcony with seaview which we did not expect as it was not even advertised. The garden beautifully maintained, beach is close and pools are very nice.

We ordered food from the restaurant at the main building only on one occassion; it took a long time to arrive and was substandard.

Location, friendly staff, accommodation and apartment facilities suited our family.

Swimming pool and surrounding area needs an update, missing tiles around pool sides and flaking paint in the bottom of the pool. The facilities are a bit worn looking the place needs a freshen up.

This resort lies just above one of the most beautiful beaches I know. A great place to truly wind down and to also enjoy the afternoon and evening light. The architecture and the pool nearby the cliff are very beautiful.

There was a problem with our reservation which clearly was not Prainha Clube's fault. But they did not do much to help us out either. We eventually found a room in that very resort for one night ... via Booking.com. The resort is wonderful, but I did not think the room and some of the other facilities were at a 4-star level.
