In the quiet outskirts of Portimao town, spacious parking, big and clean swimming pool, green area, next to the amazing golden sand (not gravel) Rocha and Vau beach with many beautiful rock formations that were accessible on foot or by kayaking along the coast. Large refrigerator, microwave and toaster in the kitchen.

the kitchen did not have an oven and only 2 heating elements of the stovetop. Only 2 pots and 1 small frying pan (feeding only 2 people) was provided in an appartment meant for 4 people, no dishwasher, external magnetic doors to the appartment close with a bang, waking you up in the middle of the night or early mornings. At the time of the booking we were not aware that the hotel offers an evening entertainment programme which I skipped at all times (and which put me off from staying in all-inclusive hotels). on some occassions, e.g. Saturday karaoke night, it was very load and resulted in many loud guests partying well past midnight.

property was recently renovated and painted so looks fresh and new even though it was from 1999. the staff were very diligent making the rooms and all areas clean, it was almost spotless. the waiting staff are friendly, always with a smile. there’s a mini market for convenience, and coin operated laundry which was useful especially with young kids. the main bonus was the indoor heated pool especially as we went during early April and the outdoor pool can still be too cold in the mornings. this was a hit both for adults and kids alike. there’s plenty of things to do in the property - mj i golf, football field and tennis court with a playground for small kids. there was 1 restaurant and i think the snack bar opens in high season. the apartments were nicely sized - we opted for the pool side view apartment with kitchenette and big sofa bed good for adults / kids alike. we were in block C which was good to soak the afternoon sun as the sun set where our balcony was. there was also 3 day entertainment programme during the Easter weekend and it was great fun organised by Rui. we liked that the resort was quiet - not ones where there’s blaring music constantly on all the time. so kids were allowed to have fun and make noise but adults can also relax and take it easy. there’s also free parking!

not so much complaints but things to be aware of. some of the blue lounge chairs in the swimming pool needs to be replaced with the newer brown ones. also just a reminder to others to bring their own beach towels and their own washing up stuff for the kitchenette. not a big problem - stuff like these are cheap in Portugal anyway. the buffet breakfast was repetitive and after 10 days of staying it can be monotonous but that’s not a problem again - some days we had simple breakfast in our apartment as we had our own kitchenette anyway. but there was plenty to choose from at the buffet breakfast so you can still mix it up.

I liked the deep pool (deep on one end) which had a good atmosphere, good balcony view from our room over the pool, cleanliness, friendly staff. One of the days we left our towels on sun beds for an hour to return to find else somebody on beds, our towels folded and placed to the side with a note stating what times they were left unattended (I was very impressed with this policy as nobody should simply book beds like that and expect them waiting for them while others need them, I was very happy to see that. We just got different beds instead.) There was a nice relaxed friendly family atmosphere throughout the place. Ubers are great to drop you to Alvor for shops/ restaurants (a great place to visit/shop/eat etc)

This is just something very small , but I missed music around the pool area, it doesn’t have to be loud, just playing in the background to add to the atmosphere. It’s a 12 minute walk to supermarket (5 minute to another smaller shop) - again very small issue as there is a little shop on site for bare essentials that’s isn’t completely overpriced.

The fact that was well ubicated, even though it was far from the Airport. It had a lot of stores and supermarket nearby. The cleanliness was as well quite good. The bar and its employees was perfect. Many options to eat and they are very helpful, plus drinks are delicious. The inside pool was amazing, the temperature perfect to relax, the maintenance everything.

The only thing I didn't like was we were 3 people, however they put only 2 beds. It had a sofa-cama but there were no sheets to use it so we managed to sleep 3 in 2 beds.

Very clean, modern, and safe for children. The entertainment team was excellent with fun activities for all the family. Good playground for little ones. There is plenty of space in the apartments and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast pay as you go was handy, too. Plenty of choice! Big Supermarket 10 mins walk away. All the staff were very friendly and accomadating to my 3 children, particularly Alex the waiter and Rui the Entertainment guy.

Little bit out of the way, but the hotel does provide a regular shuttle bus to the beach and town. Also, Uber is handy and not too expensive for taxi.

As with previous stays here , the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are always incredibly clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. Larger than average.

Being on the ground floor by the entrance we suffered a lot of noise from children running up and down the corridor and above us with young children running around at 5am-6am which obviously woke us up and became very annoying. Would suggest couples without children or older couples to stay on 2 nd or 3rd floor to avoid the same situation. This was the only thing that let our stay down.

Beautiful apartment, it has everything you need including a little electric stove, microwave, toaster, blended and so much more. bed was comfortable and apartment was cleaned daily. Staff very very helpful. A night before we had to leave our youngest daughter woke up in the middle of the night with terrible earache. Lad at the reception found us 24 hour pharmacy and even called them to ensure they are open. Portuguese are lovely people and we have enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.

It’s a bit further away from anywhere, but nothing terrible as Uber is really cheap and takes 5 minutes drive to the beach or the shops. So not a huge minus.

The food, setting, and hotel were great. Prices were very reasonable, and the food was great.

Bit of a distance to Alvor, but cabs were regular and fairly cheap. Staff were all very helpful.

Not so much the hotel but the location is Kind of out of the way in regards to going for meals etc but alvor and prai da rocha few mins each way ( download bolt app its like uber or free now app ) some taxis love to charge especially from airport and slide and splash.

- the facilities were brilliant.. 3 pools including the indoor temp controlled pool - play area for the kids, game room, gym - the breakfast was good with a wide spread including hot meals - the staff was really courteous and always smiling - the on-site restaurant was good too..

- the rooms should be vacuum cleaned every day. Considering the location is close to the beach and when we come back we bring back sand, the floor should be cleaned - also beach towels / pool towels should be given free of cost. you cannot expect tourists to travel with pool towels - while the breakfast was pretty nice it would have been great to have atleast 1 new item every day. after 4 days the breakfast became a bit repetitive
