perfect location, excellent guest who explained us everything, the sofa bed was very comfortable and the duvets were amazing- they were clean and fresh and smelled nicely.

it was ok, only for those light sleepers be aware, it might be disturbing because you can here people coming and leaving in the morning or in the evening. the kitchen equipment was poorer, so do not expect some extra cooking, but for some eggs in the morning it is ok.

The kitchen was fairly usable and the fact that there are 2 bedrooms ans 2 bathrooms is a huge plus! The beds were comfy and the towels are changed every 2 days unless you ask for a daily change.

Many things were broken or not properly working... One of the two showers did not have hot water while the other one was piping hot. The vents did not do much and the apartment fell very damp and humid, in addition to that there was a bed smell coming from the drain of the showers. The vent in the kitchen did not work nor did the light. The beddings were very synthetic and they make you suffocate a bit.. The double bed is a bit small but that may have been said.

The property had great facilities and was clean. The property was large (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living space - kitchen and sofa). The woman at reception was fantastic. We had a late arrival and the keys were available on arrival. However, when talking to the woman the next day she shared how to get around the city easiest and gave recommendations. She had a lovely, bubbly personality. She even gave us umbrellas! The location was brilliant close to a busy street with plenty of shops and restaurants and near tourist spots.

The location could not be better. You are directly opposite a 5* hotel but you’re paying approx £60 a night compared to £514 a night literally across the road. It could not be more central. You can come and go whenever you want to, there’s no limitations.

It just needs a little bit of pampering, there’s a few bits of paint here and there that just needs touching up. Also we had a few ants in the toilet room and there are pigeons roosting above the toilet room too and it got noisy because of that in the morning. It did wake us up but that would be easily solvable.

The hotel is only 600m from Estacao Sao Bento and also about that distance from the bridge that connects Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia. I stayed in room 1B and there was a lot of space. I'm pleased with all the hotel arrangements, but 5 stars go to our dear host, who was friendly, helpful and made us feel at home from the first minute. Breakfast was served in our room and was tasty. In sum, location, safety, staff, quality of the room are really great, thank you!

The location of the accomodation was nice, if you use public transportation you have to walk up a small hill, to get to the hotel. Cleanliness was OK. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was better than expected.

We had apparment on the top floor - many stairs, no elevator. With heavy luggage is a bit unpleasant. No window shades in one room which means light in the room in the morning. The other room had shades. Walls could use some fresh painting.

A nice big room with a kitchenette, sofa, bed, clean and with all the utensils you need. We asked for additional bedding and they brought it to us quickly. The hotel is located practically in the center. We read from previous reviews that there is a possibility of noise because a building is being renovated in the neighborhood, but there was no noise and we are very satisfied. All in all excellent. Definitely a recommendation for the invested money

Perfect location, close to many restaurants and several supermarket. Walking distance from Bolhão and Batalha. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. You have all you need for a short city trip. The microwave, coffee machine and water boiler are definitely a huge plus. The highlight for me definitely is the price. It's almost laughable how affordable it is compared to what you get. I will definitely stay there again if I visit Porto and I will recommend everyone that I know to stay there too.

The beds are although nice, but it keeps sliding apart from each other. Probably smarter to just use a queen size instead of 2 singles. Another thing was the noise from all the construction. I know it's not anyone's fault but I have to mention it still. The last thing worth mentioning was that the place has loads of stairs so please keep in mind if you want to bring big luggages or heavy things.

Fabulous location, very friendly & helpful reception desk staff, after hour assistance, secure, clean & cosy, stylish modern decor, comfortable bed & pillows, good cooking equipment/utensils, close to cafes, restaurants, supermarket & sites, & value for money.

Bathroom was somewhat small, even for a small person.

The overall experience was ok. Location was great, old authentic place that comes with its perks, squeaky floors, beds are dated and not to comfortable. Comes with ac unit, nobody warned us that after a while of using it, one of them was dripping water right on the top of the bed and we had to put some towels to catch the drippings of water. Also, we found out the hardway, that when plugging the microwave we unplugged the boiler with hot water, which we eventually ran out and had to figure out why... Price was very reasonable.
