The small kitchens on each floor were great, and the cake every day at 17:00 was a nice touch. The location was excellent. While most of the staff were nice, Luise went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was great.

In our first room (#14) we woke up at 5AM to find a fairly large water leak in the corner, which started leaking while it rained overnight. It appeared that the water damage had been there for some time and hidden behind a fake decorative plant. Luise handled this very professionally and moved us to another room in short order once we told them. Other than this, our stay was fabulous.

-No elevator -cold bathroom Breakfast was a bit disappointing: -we found the plastic in the middle of the ham slice (coming from the ham packaging) -we usually ordered breakfast for 8.30 am. One morning at 10 am the girl from the staff repeatedly knocked at our door while I was showering. At the end when I opened the doors she wanted the cart back.. -one day we came back to the room at 3 pm and it wasn’t available, it was still in the cleaning -one day the breakfast came at 7.55 even if it was at 8.30

We got in late in the evening but were warmly welcomed at Santa Catarina FLH Suites. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the little balcony was a total surprise. While we didn’t get to take advantage of the balcony (it was raining), it would have been a nice breakfast spot. Breakfast, chosen the night before, was brought right to our room at our requested time, and was very good. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It was obvious that a lot of craftsmanship went into renovating the building. We had a very pleasant stay.

Boutique hotel, situated on one of the main streets of Porto - excellent location. Very clean and calm place, with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was served in the room - we only had to indicate in advance at time we would like to have it. Water and coffee were available and free of charge.

Nothing to dislike - charming place. The only small constraint might be the endless number of stairs (no lift at the property) -first to reach the reception desk and after to reach the room, however, this was well communicated in advance and was not a surprise.

Everything was great from start to finish. Great location, beautiful refurbished building, spacious comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. Lots of little perks such as cakes and coffee machines on each floors plus complementary glass of port in the evening. Not to mention a very copious continental breakfast served at your bedroom's door with fresh juices. Lovely staff who go the extra mile to help

Be mindful that the property is over 5 floors with no lift. Not a problem for us and staff even offered to carry our suitcases:-)

Louisa and Allison were great examples of how to treat guests. They made our stay there very welcoming and they went above and beyond what was expected of them. From the very first moment, Louisa was helpful with recommendations for the area as well as being very accommodating with our stay. Allison was very warm and bubbly and made us feel welcomed.

Sometimes the order we made for breakfast needed to be corrected

The hotel room was nice with a window / terrace to the city. The hotel staff were very accomodating and helpful when we wanted to change our room. The breakfasts were very nice and espresso machines were a hit for us coffee lovers. Cake and port in the evening was a nice touch. Location was excellent as long as you're not trying to park your car.

It was a little difficult to find the parking garage upon first arrival. This location is on a very busy street in a crowded district making it hard to arrive by car.

The staff were very attentive, and held our luggage as we arrived before official checkin. There is a large breakfast menu one fills out the night before, which is beautifully served in your room on a cart. I enjoyed eggs, yogurt, chia seeds, and tea - most of which I was surprised to find available. The location is excellent - Bolhao market is just two blocks away, which is a wonderful way to spend your spare time. Restaurants everywhere.

My room was situated over a shoe store that blared disco music all day until 8 p.m. or so. I arrived two days early for my Camino walk in order to shake off the jet lag - but it was impossible to rest with the shaking of the music in my room. Was told no other rooms available, had to live with it.

The staff was great especially Luisa she was extremely helpful and unbelievably kind. The rooms were beautiful and well kept and daily breakfast room service was such a nice touch.

There is no elevator which os mentioned when booking but still inconvenient. Also no phones in the rooms to communicate with the reception so if you need something you have to go downstairs in some cases 5 stories to speak to someone.

Amazing service, attentiveness, cosiness and cleanliness.

People say about the absence of the elevator, but the staff helps with the luggage. If you are female - it helps, the only thing I don't like is that the ladies carrying your suitcase are also females. You choose the options for the breakfast, probably the pictures could help, in this case you will understand there are 3 slices of tomato. Everything is tasty and fresh, probably I just got used eating the huge salad for breakfast.
