We were driving and wanted a hotel with parking in the building, easily accessible when arriving from Lisbon and within walking distance from the town center. This one met all these requirements and in less than 10 minutes we could walk along the antiquarian's street to Rua da Cedofeita. Going back to the highway was similarly easy, avoiding the queues in the streets of Central Porto I am sick and tired of hotels who state they have own parking and then direct us to some public parking nearby. This one has its own reasonably large parking in the basement, with direct lift access and for a fair price. Breakfast very good indeed.

Well, of course if it was somewhat cheaper or a few hundred yards up the same street, and therefore nearer the center, it would have been better, but neither can we ask for a Lexus at the price of a Trabant! Having said that, we cannot really point to anything negative.

I would like to say the staff were amazing at the hotel. It was absolutely spotless and the power shower was just as it should be, a power shower. The bathrooms were very modern and had plenty of room in them. Every day our rooms were cleaned and sheets changed regularly. We were met by the Manager Francisco, who was so obliging, friendly and so courteous and nothing was an issue. We wanted more hangers, which he provided, we asked for a room together as there were 4 of us, which he obliged. Our package included breakfast which was fab and fresh and anything we asked wasn’t a problem. The girls serving breakfast and our cocktails at night, were so polite and friendly. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. All the staff treated us like friends and nothing was a problem. We were really sad to leave and will definitely return without doubt.

Absolutely nothing

Good location requiring walking about 15 minutes to the centre. As we had a car with us we just wanted to park and leave at the hotel this was the main reason for choosing this hotel. Easy parking underneath the hotel, found with directions from staff. Lovely suite on the top floor. No great views as such but having extra space was good. Tastefully decorated throughout.

If we didn't have the car we would have preferred to stay closer to the centre. The only downside of the suite was that people on the floor below, on the outside patio area, could look straight up into the room. We therefore had to keep the net curtains drawn.

Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a good size as it fit two people with plenty of space left. The air conditioning was effective and useful for overnight when the temperature got warm. The breakfast was good and had a sufficient selection of hot and cold items. Hotel transfer for 30euros was a good choice as our departing flight was early so this helped with time and the driver Eduardo was polite and professional.

An easily accessible cold drinking water dispenser on our level would have been perfect. The only ones I could find was behind the reception counter which required staff to assist and in the gym (which wasn't working). This is only a small matter, and the rest of my experience with the hotel was amazing.

The room was extremely clean, probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything is so new and stylish, even the bathroom in the lobby was spotless and stylish! Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful, they have a 24hr reception and you can check in until 1.30am which was great for us as our flight was delayed. And even at 1am the gentleman checking us in was still in a good mood :) In hindsight I would have taken up their offer of an airport transfer as it cost similar to wait 40mins in the taxi queue and Ubers wouldn't come to the airport at night. The hotel is very well soundproofed against outside noise, we were quite shocked at the sound difference when we opened the balcony door! The aircon system was perfect and the bed was large and extremely comfy. The location was good, not too busy and central but still close enough to everything. I didn't want to leave, it's a shame we only stayed for two nights!

The room is a little smaller than it appeared on the photos but we didn't really care. We still loved it.

The breakfast was varied and fresh. The front desk staff and the cleaning crew were exceptional. It was nice that they remembered who I was each day and were so kind to do their very best to answer questions. It was a nice touch to have lemon water and apples at the front for guests.

It is quite a long walk to the center of Porto and even further to the river front from the hotel. The location of the hotel is in a busy area. The balconies are much smaller than appeared in photos and have city views of other buildings.

The hotel offers very great value for its price. The room and bathroom were big enough, the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast was more than good with wide range of selection, both savory and sweet options. During our stay we have met very friendly and helpful receptionists. The hotel is easily accessible both from the airport and the central station. Also the sights are easily reachable on foot or by public transportation. The neighborhoud of the hotel is very quiet. Definitely recommend this hotel. I loved the design of the hotel and the room itself.

I would mention only one thing. The breakfast area of the hotel is very small, we had to wait to be seated every day, but it was not even peak season. This is frustrating when you have to show up on time at the sights. However this thing does not influence my overal experience regarding the hotel, which was very great.

This hotel is a gem.The showers were excellent with constant hot water.The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was well insulated from any exterior noise.As it is a small hotel the quality of decor and furniture surpassed most similar hotels.We never had a long wait for a lift and we did not get enough time to enjoy the outdoor patio.Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety.Being a 10/15 minute walk to city centre was a blessing.

Just fill up the tea pots .There was nothing to dislike here only the ultimate of praise.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel exterior is very inconspicuous but hides a very well appointed, spacious and well laid out interior and facilities the location was peaceful away from the busy streets

the only thing that could have been better for us was location in terms of accessibility to tourist areas but once we had got our bearings we managed with Uber and hop on hop off bus, it is in a quiet area but in the heat of the day (june) can be a hot walk to the river area and back!
