I recently stayed at YOTEL Porto and had a fantastic experience. The location is superb, close to the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and rooms that have a sleek, functional design. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for, which made the stay that much more comfortable. The quality of service was also impressive; the staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or answer questions. The amenities in the room were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. My only hesitation would be that the price is a bit on the higher side, but given the quality, location, and cleanliness, it still felt like a worthwhile choice. I’d definitely recommend YOTEL Porto for anyone looking for a high-quality, convenient stay in Porto!

The hotel is relatively new and is kept very clean. Its location is also good, about 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, and going down to the downtown core can still be done on foot at a leisurely pace. The breakfast provided is also very good too.

The features in the room may be too high tech for the less tech savvy guests. For example, there were no written instructions on how to work the fancy colour lighting system. The bed we had was comfortable, but the bed frame squeaks!! The room doesn't have any shelf space to speak of for clothes out of the luggage if you have longer stays. While the welcoming card indicates that a kettle , coffee and tea are provided in the room, only the kettle was available. When we asked for tea bags and instant coffee packs, we were told at the front desk, we need to pay for the beverage pack. We feel that this is really petty for such a hotel!

The restaurant staff. Some were ok but some were rude and very unhelpful. I ordered a latte, it was cold, i asked thé young lady if she could heat it up and she put it in the microwave. i ordered another one and she brought it to me cold again. The insistance that we pay for everything we order before we got it made us feel like they were treating us like thiefs. I stopped going in there the last evening and following morning and we had coffee elsewhere. I would stay at the hotel again but I would not go into the restaurant.

Location was excellent a couple minutes walk to the metro and ten minutes walk into the city centre! Nice cafes for brunch even closer nearby! All within a busy area so felt safe walking to/from the hotel! Front desk staff were always helpful and staff at the restaurant very attentive and polite. Also they were able to keep heavy bags on the day of checkout as my flight wasn’t until late at night and I wanted to explore more so this was super helpful!

I was on the 8th floor and the music from the rooftop bar on Friday and Saturday night was SO LOUD. I had thankfully read previous reviews and brought ear plugs so was prepared.. also similar to other reviews I had read prior to arrival.. THE SHOWER LEAKED ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND THE FLOOR WAS SOAKED from only a quick 5 minute shower.. (forgot about the reviews I had read whilst I was showering 🥴)

Lovely modern hotel - all fitted for our comfort. Breakfast was a great selection and nice fresh food. Location very close to the metro station (from the airport etc) and only 10min walk from the main attractions.

I first got a room that’s city facing and that was extremely loud, one of the busiest streets, could hear it all from the 6th floor! The team was kind enough to switch me to another room a day later for my 7 day stay so had no more problems with the other side facing room! A bit funny how you have to pay extra for a decent cup for your tea and a tea/coffee selection given it’s a more expensive 4 star hotel. There’s a kettle in the room but only get paper cups. I would have loved to have a regular light setting - colourful lights are fun but a bit much sometimes. Air conditioning was a bit funny to navigate as well.

Location is super great, not too close and not too far from the city center. There are supermarkets, good restaurants near by. It is really close to the station which has the train to the airport. The room is really clean, minimalist, modern, has everything we need. We went to the gym too, it has really modern gym equipments :) If we visit Porto again in the future, we definitely will stay there again :)

The front rolling door caused some problem when we enter / leave the building. It spins too fast. When we go with luggage, can cause some problems.

Everything was great. Gym was amazing. The restaurant was amazing. The hotel in general delivered a great experience.

The water in the shower was leaking outside the shower room.

It is clean, located close to the center, but there is enough street parking places near the hotel Staff is nice Good gym Bed is comfortable and can be adjusted which is very nice

There is a kettle in the room, but no tea or anything The shower is at a floor level, so it leaks a bit when you take a shower, it also smelled a bit, probably because it is closed all the time Toilet is just behind a glass door, so if you are traveling not alone it means that you have no privacy in the toilet The room is quite small It was a bit noisy during the night, but not for long - we are not sure if the noise was coming from the bar on the roof or from the rooms nearby

No coffee in a he room, not upon ask at the bar for the room, should be told in advance. 2.5 per cup when nothing at room is bad. Suggest to give 2 vouchers/day at the bar for half to one euro or have an automate option Also, asking extra 3 € for breakfast for changing our minds feel not welcoming especially for 17€ breakfast. The interface to lights and techi options is not self explained. Our room window faced the parking. We should be notified. No open air option in the room, too much blitch was used it took time to clear.

The location was great, it was just 200m from the metro station. Parking was covered, it had to be booked in advance, otherwise there is public parking across from the hotel. Breakfast was great, plenty of options and the staff was very nice. Our room was on the 9th floor which was a pleasant surprise, we had a balcony in the rooftop and the view was amazing, we were lucky with the weather!

I would say I liked it all but it is true that the modern toilet/shower see through doors and no space to undress before you go into the shower feels a bit uncomfortable. Even if we were travelling as a family, my daughter is a teenager and was not happy about this. But if you don't mind this, then you'll have nothing to complain about!
