The location is great, just 10 mins drive from the airport, really convenient for car renting at the airport. There is also a Costco just in opposite to the hotel, walk cross the street then you can shopping anything at the Costco. Free shuttle bus provided for arrival and departure just schedule with the front deck 1 day before your need. On site parking is free and plenty of parking spots for car renters. All the hotel amenities are free on your need, and if you run out those just ask the front desk to get new ones, e.g. towels, toilet papers, facial tissues, soap bar, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc.

The hotel does not provide daily house-keeping services. For long term guests, they provide house-keeping every 3 nights and you need to schedule for house-keeping 1 day before to have your room cleaned the next day. The window unit heater is kind of dry when the heat is on and you shall drink plenty of water.

We stayed here for 3 knights while visiting family. We are originally from Richmond and our first time staying at this hotel. For the time of the season and value this is great. We really just needed a place to sleep as we went out most of the days. We didnt need housekeeping. The breakfast included is also great and enough for my liking. There is a chinese restaurant attached to the hotel which is also great but we didnt try it. The staff are friendly! We slept well and thats a good plus.

This hotel is old and outdated. But it has been around for many years. Basic tv channels. But these days everyone has electronics. We were placed on the ground floor and you can hear the floor drumming with the people above us.

We stayed here for 2 nights for the Eras Tour concert. They had the cheapest room rate during that time which is not too far from the stadium. Location is close to the airport, skytrain, stores, restaurants, etc which is good. They first gave us an uncleaned room so we asked if they can clean it but they gave us a new room instead which was wayyyy better than the first one. The washroom is more updated and room smells pleasant. Staffs were friendly and helpful esp the lady in the breakfast room!

Limited breakfast options but it’s better than nothing so i’m still giving a 10/10 for the good experience 🩷

The staff was really friendly. It was convenient to restaurants and foodie world. It was also convenient to where we had a car fixed for our business. It was fun watching the planes coming for landing. I like that there is a little table and chairs in the room. The free breakfast was basic but my husband could eat it.

The beds could be a little bit lower. The toilet could be a little bit higher. The heater / air conditioner was very noisy and woke my husband each time it turned on . Wish they had eggs for breakfast that were gluten or dairy free . Good thing I brought rice chex and rice milk.

I am acutely allergic to all dairy products and was disappointed that no dairy free margarine was available. Were it not for the extreme kindness of the manager who went out especially to buy becel margarine for me I would have had plain toast with jam, banana and an apple only for breakfast. If I may suggest having some non dairy alternatives to make breakfast a little more appetizing. In addition to non dairy margarine there are now many non dairy milk substitutes such as oat, almond, coconut. It is so important for people with allergies to be able to read notes listing ingredients.

It was a quirky hotel but clean & comfortable & the deal came with breakfast. The breakfast was a buffet style with a fair choice of breakfast items. I liked having a kettle and to be able to make a hot drink in my room. The best bit was being only a short walk from the sky train station. This meant we could get to downtown Vancouver very easily. It has a free shuttle from the airport. Also we were continuing our holiday in a camper van & this hotel was one on the list of hotels which the camper van company were happy to pick you up from.

The pillows were a bit lumpy

Location is great, right by the airport with a shuttle to and from. Breakfast was alright, love that it’s included but we mostly did our own thing after the first day. Public transit is a bit of a walk from the hotel but very fast and efficient once you get on. Ubers are also available in about 3-5 minutes wherever you are. Friendly staff and fellow customers. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, I wanted a homey, older hotel with character and this one certainly delivered!

Due to staff shortages, there is no daily housekeeping. If you want housekeeping you have to request a day in advance. We didn’t mind, but some people might. Also, this hotel is only 3 floors, so it is spread out fairly wide, some customers with mobility issues may find the rooms to be pretty far from the main lobby. Maybe try to request a room closer to the lobby if you can. They seem pretty accommodating!

We have learned to fly in a day early when getting on a cruise ship as airlines will modify their schedules at the last minute and we can be left ashore or without luggage. The Abercorn was near the airport and across the street from Costco. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good especially their large muffins. Best of all the staff had a problem solving attitude and it was within walking distance of The Story Cafe.

We were on third floor facing the front on a busy street; there is inadequate soundproofing. Traffic is reduced at night but traffic noise is still loud at night. There were no eggs or meat (bacon, sausage, ham) available at breakfast. Really noisy elevator; glad our room was not next to it. No transfer to the cruise terminal.

The location was excellent. It is only a few blocks away from Bridgrport Station that has excellent public transit. It is also close to the airport. It was the perfect choice for us coming from Vancouver Island for an early morning flight and on our return on a late arrival at YVR. Check in was quick and easy at 1am (due to a flight delay). Our King bed room was very comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast was well organized with a variety of options. All the staff were encountered were courteous and helpful.

No complaints

Sanal greeted us warming and had great knowledge of the local area. He is an asset to the property. I stayed 4 different occasions as a base for my Canada / Alaska / Vegas trip . It was close to the airport, provided a shuttle service .

The only thing I didn’t like was they are using a milk crate as a step into and out of the shuttle bus they provide. It had no grip and was unstable. Thus I didn’t use it , as it was an accident waiting to happen . Getting in and out as a short , mature person was difficult for me. It is dangerous and a few dollars spent on a proper step and a handle to grip while getting in and out would help customers.
