Picked the hotel for it's location, a short walk to the Oakville GO Train station, about a half kilometer. Walk was no problem, but a short portion of the walk does not have sidewalks. The room was your standard hotel room, with a microwave. I was able to get some work in at the desk in the room on the hotel wi-fi. Staff was nice. Did not check out any of the facilities.

The carpet in the room has a weird stereoscopic pattern on it that makes it look like the floor look very uneven! Thought I was going to trip and fall LOL!

Our room was clean & comfortable. The location, friendliness of staff and cleanliness of main areas was great! The breakfast server was very friendly and welcomed everyone in with a smile and brief conversation so that was very nice. What was offered tasted good and was displayed nicely. Breakfast area was clean, however quite small. We will stay again.

Our toilet was like a miniature toilet! We are average height/weight but it was a very short toilet! Breakfast offerings were more of a continental breakfast.

The most surprised thing is the breakfast which included in the price. The croissant is so delicious and hand-maded by the the lady who arranged the breakfast. My kids were so loved her croissants, eggs, i was so enjoyed the coffee she maded.It made us a energetic day from the very begginning of our trip. because of the lady's breakfast, my kids asked to stay one more night. So, I booked another day. It was awesome!

The location was great for my needs. The decor was nice and it was very clean. The breakfast room was nice

The fan in the bathroom was very loud and came on with the light switch. Not able to just have the light without the fan. It was deafening and didn’t do a good job since the mirror was still steamed up after having a shower. Also, the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced. It was very worn on one side especially. Not very comfortable

Service at Breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly helpful. Quality of breakfast was good. Pastry was very dry but croissant was very tasty. Maybe a little Canadian Cheddar Cheese to go with Toast would be great.

As Seniors we find a bath shower difficult. If you are remodelling please consider seniors (most people were seniors) and install walk in showers with a little step only. Overall we stayed one night and will do so again when next in the area. Room assistant was very friendly and looked after a safety concern we had . Reported it to front desk and they were happy to be informed and took note of it. Great service. When departing from your parking lot speeding cars coming around the corner could have you killed. Suggest a highwat sign saying hidden entrance "slow down"

The staff were attentive to our requests. We had requested an extra duvet as we like having the option of warmth or coolness in the bedroom.

Overall the room was clean but the lamps needed dusting, and the fan in the bathroom sounded like a Jet was taking off as it was exceedingly loud. The breakfast was ok but the only hot items were the coffee and the toast.

The staff is always lovely. The rooms are well appointed. Upgrades are being done to the place which is great...the location is super convenient. And the new room fragrance is awesome

The washroom was a bit worse for wear....not the staffs fault though as some previous guest had splattered something on the wallpaper and tub. The leaky faucet was a tad bit of a bother

Very friendly welcome, all the staff, including at breakfast were very kind and polite. Breakfast was typical continental, yet still a good variety, including warm muffins. The room was clean and functional; the shower had a good water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a desk, and all the plugs for charging. This place had everything I needed for a good price. Thank you!

The location was perfect for the purpose of my visit. it quite accessible and nice

The house keeping was not exactly top notch . sometimes, we had to vacate the room and walk to the housekeep maids to request for it to be cleaned . our bed linen was not changed for 9 days despite the fact that it was white color

There was a reasonable variety of choices for breakfast. I don't eat a huge breakfast normally, but appreciated being able to have a banana, a hard boiled egg (though I don't care for them being so cold but of course food safety makes that necessary), and a glass of juice and a cup of herb tea with honey available to sweeten it. The room was comfortable, but what I really like about the Monte Carlo is the unique decor. A great many hotels are basically clones of each other.

Well, rates advertised on my initial checking about a week before I came were represented as $99, but the actual booking was more like $130, with a total cost of abut $152. I wasn't exactly thrilled about that, especially since the taxes are so high.
