Room was very clean, comfortable and good size. Hotel was very clean, free parking which is a perk. Bed was a "10" Not a fancy hotel but I rate excellent. Pool was out of order No food available in hotel but step outside and everything walking distance though very trafficy. Location very central and freeway right there , close to airport, about 30 min. No cash at fron desk, ATM in lobby.. Very reasonably priced, I would go back. Lots of other hotels adjacent but value here is very good and don't forget, FREE PARKING.

A restaurant would have been nice, but really everything close by. I didn't need the pool, if you do, check that it is open and whether there will be food available at pool.

The location is great - it's near some of our favorite restaurants, and easy to hop on to the Jean Talon and metro. It's not too noisy despite being that close to a major highway on the island, and the rooms are very spacious. We went in winter, and they had an ice skating rink! The pool looks very nice, and my partner and I joked (but maybe seriuosly) about hosting our wedding there. It's a very, very great hotel.

It's currently being updated, and the restaurants there no longer exist. I'm hard pressed to find anything I didn't like, but I'd have to say the coffee machines were awkward and didn't fit the cup, but that's my only complaint!

I stayed for two nights in January. The room was clean and mostly renovated. A hairdryer and iron were provided, but small details like slippers and a shoehorn were missing. When I asked the staff, they didn’t have any available. The staff were friendly and did their best to assist within their limits. Unfortunately, the restaurants were closed due to renovations, which was disappointing. Overall, for the price I paid (~$100 per night before additional taxes), I’m satisfied. However, there were hidden fees, such as taxes, that were added at checkout. I would have preferred knowing the full cost upfront when booking. Also, don’t forget to bring a plug adapter if you’re visiting from Europe, as the hotel doesn’t provide them at all. I had to shop around to find one during my stay.

Quite a good combination of location and value. Near the freeway AND less than a 5 minute walk from the orange-line subway. Getting to Le Jardin Botanique and centre-ville was pretty stress-free. Also the Gibeau Orange Julep is on the other side of the 15!! Yes you have to try it. Yes it's yummy. Just don't feed the seagulls cuz damn they will mob you already as it is.

The steakhouse nearby is just okay. Lots of rich people going there to do rich people things I guess. Yes it's very *very* bling. But at least the restaurant staff were nice. They were like extra-Canadian. All the same, the croissants in the Hotel Ruby Foo lobby have a better yumminess-to-price ratio. If only I knew about that giant orange ball on the other side of the freeway before I came.

It was quiet and clean. The front desk person, George who worked in the evening, was very kind to help with my problems to connect with the Internet.

1] The air was very dry in the room. This made sleeping rather uncomfortable. 2] Water pressure for a shower was weak. 3] The 2 restaurants on the property were closed for renovations. It would be nice to have a place to sit for a proper breakfast at the hotel - perhaps next time? 4] A local map would help. I would appreciate a way to avoid the traffic chaos coming off the Decarie Expressway at the Jean Talon off ramp. Traffic is heavy and the drivers are criss-crossing into each others path. I think that the city of Montreal needs to revise the traffic at this point - someone or business needs to inform the city about this problem.

We have stayed often at Ruby Foo's and the positives remain the same: great location, clean and comfortable rooms and a reasonable price.

In our particular room, there was a significant issue with the placement of the desk. Because the king-sized bed took up so much space, there was barely enouigh room to fit the desk chair between the end of the bed and the desk. Even after you squeezed into the chair, there was no room for anyone to pass befind the desk chair. We literally had to move ithe chair completely away from the desk so we could pass back and forth through the room.

We really liked our room. The Bed was quite confortable and so were the pillows. Good location and good amenities. Parking was very convenient.

The Kichenette is kind of outdated. The electric stove and the Refrigerator are Very outdated. Other than that we loved almost everything about this hotel. Furthermore the price is kind of steep taking in consideration that we have paid less for properties that offer free continental Breakfast which this hotel doesn't offer. if they make a few little changes this Hotel is definitely a must consider if staying in the area.

Like the parking facilities. Like the staff at the reception work efficiently. Like the cleanliness of the hotel room. Like the location of the hotel and the room's view. Like the size of the room, the two Queen size of beds with good mattresses. Bathroom with good matt to resist slippery.

Without the kettle, not sure is there a restaurant there. Coffee maker is a bit small and not sure any one used it before. The adjourned room's noises affected our room even close to mid-night. No shower cap.

Being walking distance from Namur metro station and from Pushap (my favourite Montreal restaurant since my first visit in 1993) was perfect for a brief stay in Montreal. I arrived by car, which was quite easy, and after using the parking lot to unload our bags and check in I dropped off my rental car and we just took transit. The room was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor pool was a highlight.

The lock to our room had an issue that briefly had us locked out, but the staff at reception were very helpful at getting it working again.

The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The room was nice and dark for sleeping. The filtered water machine was appreciated.

There was a very loud party from the party room with thumping music that went on till 1:30 a. m. The party-goers then continued partying on our floor for another hour. We called the office twice but they did nothing about it. The gate to the parking lot was broken. It was very annoying trying to get the arm to lift every time. Needs fixing. Overall the service wasn’t great. We liked the restaurant downstairs although it is not run by the hotel. Great for breakfast.
