Reception Staff were very slow in attending the customers and most of them were not happy about it.

the kindness of the people: I have to thank you Me Jerome at the concierge for the first tips on Dubai, the chef at breakfast and the all staff, the Indian chef for the Indian cuisine at one of the hotel’s restaurants, at the reception the manager and Mrs Felicia. The cleanness was amazing.

maybe the swimming pool is not very big but it has a very nice view and comfortable sunchairs

Value for money, facilities, cleanliness and the service provided by the staff. A holiday planning company sitting next to the reception helped us to book tickets and planned our days. The person at the holiday company her name is Leen who was wonderful.. Overall the staffs in reception, restaurants, cleaners were amazing and the room service was excellent.

Distance to the metro station (train) is 20 minutes walk but taxis are cheap. It is a 7-floor hotel with the sixth-floor rooms for smokers. Initially the first day I smelled cigarettes on my floor. I was staying on the third floor however, I never smelled that from the second day until I left.

I am a clean freak and this place was spotless! I loved how clean they are! I got sick on my stay, the staff were very nice and friendly when they knew I wasn't feeling well. Thank you for that.

Only downside was the location, it was a bit further away from the centre.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and all questions and requests were quickly resolved. The hotel inside is beautiful, everything is available on site for a wonderful vacation - spa, beauty salon, souvenir shop, lounge, night club and gym. It is worth mentioning that the bed was very comfortable and a good sleep was guaranteed. Bonus - grocery store and shopping streets within walking distance. The breakfast is rich, the menu of the buffet restaurant changes - something new every day. I dare to recommend and will gladly visit You again! Best wishes from Estonia.

During the week that I was there, I had to renew the check-in card several times in order to open the doors.

no enough parking

I liked the swimming pool but there weren’t enough sun chairs, the nice Mustafa’ who works there was really great tough. The people at breakfast time is amazing and very very kind.

The check out was not very nice, the reception staff wasn’t good as last year when I was there. The rooms will need a renovation pretty soon but the bathrooms offer a bathtub and a shower at the same time. The reception wasn’t kids friendly as last year as well.

Wow. Just wow. This hotel was exceptional from the minute you arrive. The staff is lovely and helpful. My room was gorgeous. They have anything you could want (and the things you inevitably forget) with just a call down to reception. The hotel pool is lovely and the on site restaurant is excellent. The location is perfectly situated between "Old Dubai" and "New Dubai". Anywhere you want to go, The Canvas staff will have a car ready to take you there, no matter what time of day it is.

Very good room in a luxury hotel. Exceptional value for money in a city like Dubai. General staff kind and polite driven by a high quality manager. Hotel location not exceptional but worth for the price. Very High quality breakfast and bed.

Basically three things: 1) The bath tube was marked at our arrival. Anyway the rest of the room was clean; 2) The hairdryer was broken and in spite of our unique notice no one came to substitute it; 3) Less importantly, we were asked to charge a card pre-authorization of 2100 AED as deposit. No pre-notice was given prior of our stay.
