I booked through a website and was unsure whether I had done the right thing! We were pleasantly surprised. The initial treatment at reception was wonderful and the receptionist was extremely helpful, polite and efficient We arrived early at 11,am and I went to inquire if we could leave the car there and go into Oxford. The receptionist was so helpful. Our room was ready and we were allowed to book in and she helped sort out the heating Due to the receptionist being so helpful with everything allowed us to go into the City and have a full afternoon to investigate Oxford. We were under the impression it would be a continental breakfast but it was a vast variety of a buffet breakfast, including a full English, if that's what you wanted. All I'm all, and excellent night away.

Location was so easy. Really was a stress free start to our short break. Checking in was super easy and efficient and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food was very good both price wise and quality. The breakfast was included the following morning and I could not fault it. Very good for allergies and noticed that vegetarian options for sausages etc were provided along with gluten free options. Staff again were very helpful.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean, no doubts about that but unfortunately quite a few hairs on the bedding. 🙁

location for access to Bicester village and the Cotswolds for the purpose of our visit was very good. it was an easy drive from Heathrow airport also.

1. Odd that parking was not included in the price. Reception advised us that the car park is owned by a separate company and duly provided me with a voucher for a reduction on the price - with a car parking ticket machine in reception where I could pay the parking in advance. It is unusual in my experience for a hotel not to have any car parking - unless in a city centre location. even more unusual that we are talking about the car parking spaces directly on the grounds of the hotel. 2. Sound proofing is not great between the rooms. In general the hallway on the floor was busy with guests coming and going (totally understandable). There were a lot of younger guests including babies. I would not recommend it for an uninterrupted night's sleep. Or bring ear plugs.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Bicester as a stopover on our journey from Yorkshire. We were looking for a reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable place to break the trip, and having stayed at Holiday Inns before, we had a good idea of what to expect. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive off the M40, right off the first roundabout. From the moment we arrived, the staff were lovely and polite. The foyer, bar, and restaurant were all clean and well-maintained. Our room was as expected: well laid out with a comfy bed and easy-to-operate climate control. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a great-sized shower (I'm 6'2" and muscular—just kidding about the build!). We decided to stay in and eat at the hotel. The menu was basic but had something for everyone, and the food was tasty. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety, though there were no eggs—perhaps due to a chicken strike? Despite the lack of eggs, breakfast was good. The only downside was having to deal with a parking ticket machine. It would be more convenient if this could be handled during booking to avoid the hassle on arrival. Overall, well done to all the staff who made our stay enjoyable!

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Didn’t have to go out at night for dinner as there was food and a bar available onsite.

Housekeeping staff could’ve been more attentive. We stayed three nights and the only thing housekeeping did was empty the bin. We had to replenish our loo roll and tea/coffee/milk. There was a near empty box of tissues in the bathroom which were used up on the first night and never got replaced. The beds were never made up during our three night stay. I would’ve thought that these were all basic housekeeping duties.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room we stayed in was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. Being so close to Bicester Village, it was a perfect get away location for anyone travelling from far, and wanting to stay over for the night after shopping throughout the day. In the morning, breakfast time was relaxing and organised, with fresh produce served to cater all dietary needs. Overall, the Holiday Inn was a pleasant experience and we will definitely be returning back!

The staffs at reception was very friendly and clear with explanations. They made me relaxed after a long day. Even the sofa bed is more comfortable than the one we have at home. They did the best to accommodate our needs. We are a family traveling with quite a bit of luggages, but I didn’t struggle to find room for everything at all. It was a reasonable price we paid considering this is a festival season.

Nothing. It was a bit noisy from other rooms with early up children but this is no fault of the hotel.

It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. I was one of many guests who were staying for the vegan campout and I loved that they created a specialist vegan menu for us. I stayed with my dog and they were very kind to her. I liked the little gift bag made for dogs at arrival.

There was only dairy milk available in the hotel room coffee selection. I went down stairs to ask for oat milk for my morning coffee and they didn’t have any, just soya milk which the staff gave me in a mug. They were very accommodating and willing to help with my request.

It has been a while since we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, great bed and bedding, shower was great and it was very quiet. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, all in all a great stay.

The car park charging is confusing, I got charged 3 times and had to contact the car park supplier, as the code I was given at reception did not work and because we popped out in the evening, we were charged again. I did get a refund but only because I noticed the charges.

- very modern and smartly designed - bathroom mirror designed to not steam up when having a shower (it actually gets warm!) - room was a good size (room with sofa) - extremely good value for money - very close to Bicester village and McDonald’s - the lighting was perfect. There were two sets of lights, one is bright and great for the day, the other set is a cozy romantic lighting that lights around the ceiling skirting

- heating took an extremely long time to heat the room up (although it’s winter) and a lot of the time didn’t heat it up warm enough - the tap for the sink only just stretches over the lip of the sink, meaning that rinsing a flannel or washing any items poured water out of the sink onto the side - it looked like the top of the sofa had not been vacuumed as there was a bit of chocolate on it - the bed is comfortable, but too firm for me
