The location of this place gives you an amazing view of the ocean. Rooms are comfortable with a balcony overseen the pool and ocean. Breakfast is included, they have a restaurant on site and a bar at the pool. You can swim to the pool bar order drinks and food perfect place for those that just want to enjoy the pool the ocean view drinks and food without having to go anywhere else.

This place needs sound proofing, you could hear the other guests conversations (no they weren’t screaming, just conversations) the place is a little outdated, and many things installed as an afterthought. The shower water was warm at best, you might think you don’t need hot water but get in the room at 9pm after been in the pool. You’re gonna need that nice hot shower.

I am from, Maryland and I stayed at El Guajataca during early March along with some friends. Everything was excellent, starting with the beachfront location and compounded by the attention given by all staff, even from Manolo, the unofficial mascot, a stranded cat adopted by the employees. The price is below the typical lodging prices for this type of prime locations and if you use booking websites, you might get even better deals. There is free breakfast offered for guests and the food offered for lunch and dinner were really good. However if guests opt for eating someplace else, there is plenty of restaurants and fast food nearby. We certainly enjoyed our time there and we recommend this hotel.

Charming views I suggest you get up at 5:40 am and watch the sunrise, it's quite a spectacle. The delicious breakfast overlooking the garden and sea. We loved the extremely relaxing pool. The terraces for conversing or meditating outside are comfortable. We loved the experience, it is unique, we did not need music, nature gave its own. Ample parking. You have access to the beach to walk along the coast. It is also close to the Guajataca Tunnel, steps you can walk there and it is close to the Mirador de Guajataca. Our visit will be repeated. I look forward to everything going perfect in your remodeling, it's turning out beautiful.

I did not like that the regular rooms do not have a coffee maker, we are coffee lovers and although it is offered at breakfast if a fan of our island or a Borincano stays discovering their culture and their country, they cannot miss even if it is a coffee maker in the regular rooms even if it is small. It is important to note that in the room we stayed, water was coming out of the toilet and they were very kind and changed the room to fix it. I appreciate your attention since this was the decisive thing to return to the place.

The person who receive us at the front desk had a real bad attitude, a turn off for any new guest getting a vacation in your hotel, but thank GOD the other people working there, they were very nice and kind, Jennifer who works at the restaurant, was very very kind and sweet with me and my two boys, but you need to get better at the from desk, Itzamar was also very kind and sweet with us !!! Thinking about go there in my next vacation, but please do something about the first guest impression when getting there, algo the pool had to much chloride and algicide and didnt look to good inside, the paint was all mess up, didnt look good...

Location and views were the best. Staff were all wonderful. Thomas at morning breakfast was a joy! So much to do a short drive away. Beach and pool towels are available. On-site restaurant was delicious.

They were doing renovations, and this facility will be more incredible when completed. There is no refrigerator in some rooms, but ice was available for our cooler. We must return!

View amazing. Construction but understandable. It’s going to be even more beautiful when done. Thomas has excellent customer service and the front check in staff were all very nice and accommodating. We’d stay again for sure!

Wild dogs that wondered up, one growled and tried to bite my daughter.

Everything was good and as expected. The view was spectacular. The hotel was not crowded, and there was plenty of moment when only my family enjoyed the pool. The staff was great too.

The room was a little outdated, and some corners in the closet hadn't been seen cleaning for a while. We didn't have much stuff, so we didn't use it. The beds, bathroom, room, and balcony were clean and ready to enjoy.

The view was very nice despite the construction. The bed was comfortable, the room was easily accessible. Staff is very friendly and considerate. Excellent service, food was very good.

No internet connection in my room, and only two (2) working TV channels. The showerhead did not work effectively and sputtered. The free breakfast was ok, but I would have paid for a full breakfast if it were available.

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. However, without the staff the experience would not have been complete. I want to give special thanks to Jeisha and Thomas (TC). They made my stay extra special. Every day they greeted me with a smile and set the tone for my whole day since they were the first people I would see every morning. They made stay amazing!! Without out those two it would have been just another nice hotel. Thank you Jeisha and TC!!

Nothing everything was great.

The room has a beautiful ocean view. It has a swimming pool, hot tub and kiddy pool. They have restaurant and have us free breakfast. Quit and peaceful.

The hot tub has warm water and we did not find the timer to activate the jet stream and water heater. The pools need to be repainted. The bathroom are a little bit small. The water from the shower runs out to the bathroom floor making puddle. The room has lots of mosquitos, good thing we have an mosquito/ bug zapper raquet. The bottom of the doors need to be sealed to minimize the mosquitos from coming in.
