The pool & the ocean. Plenty of clean towels, cold water, and a pool table. Housekeeping was top-notch.

Balcony furniture was disgusting, would not even sit on it. Thought tea kettle was broken because electric cord was tucked into counter hole but no connection to plug it in. When told front desk, we were handed another, which was moldy, and had to figure out there was no connection on our own. Thought there would be more salsa music at pool.

The bathroom by the pool was very outdated and didn't smell fresh ..I expected more from a 5 star property at this price point

The pools and beach front at the Fairmont were amazing. with over 4 pools to choose from, you can’t go wrong. The swim up bar is great as well.

The restaurants at the Fairmont were severely overpriced and the food was not great. We are at Cana for dinner and lunch and we’re pretty unsatisfied with the food. The service at these restaurants however was very good. Also, breakfast is steep at $40pp.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They gave us a couple of hours for a later checkout. The beach staff was overly helpful with towels and chairs. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view. The amenities in the room were very luxurious (LeLabo toiletries and Nespresso coffee). There was live music in the lobby nightly and people were dancing so there was a nice energy.

The first night the power went in and off multiple times and it wasn’t raining or windy so we had to keep resetting the thermostat! Our room was ready a half hour after promised when we arrived. The food in the hotel was very expensive.

Beautiful facility! Everything was beautiful and clean.

I was told the room I booked was non-existent. The listing said deluxe king bed suite with pool and ocean view. When I received my room, it was a beautiful suite, but the view was street and rooftop. I was told by front desk the only suites with pool and ocean view were double queens. I showed the attendant the listing. I'm assuming she got on the phone with a manager. They could not accommodate me with the listing description that I had reserved. I was offered a king bed with ocean/pool view, not a suite. It was beautiful, but disappointing when that is not what I reserved.

The property is amazing! Very clean, the staff is friendly and the location is great very close to the airport food and shopping. The rooms are pictured, spacious and clean. Also liked the free water bottle. The hotel has great live entertainment and the lobby is wonderful. Able to sit in the lobby people watch, enjoy conversations, billiards, or have cocktails at the 3 bars in the lobby the ambience was fantastic. The hotel has fantastic amenities which include many food restaurants, a casino, a club and more. There is plenty to do here! Not to mention it’s a beachfront hotel with access to water activities like jet ski, parasailing, banana boat rides and more! Hotel can be for families or couple getaway.

Everything was just right!!! Almost perfect!! The staff was very nice, the pool area excellent, The security was exceptional, the food delicious!!! The casino was espectacular!! Lived everything!!!!!!!!

The only thing I could complain about was the beds.... the mattress was hard and squeaky, and uncomfortable the pillows were not so good either... there was no back board to the bed, just a piece of foam!! Horrible!!! it would have been perfect if the bests were more updated.

Location, staff, lobby areas, room size, pools all great. This is an older hotel in great shape so it's in a great spot and has mature luxurious plantings and etc. I thought everyone working there was fantastic and kind.

Prices for incidental snacks and drinks were very high, hotel was a little understaffed, guests were obnoxious about claiming all the pool chairs with objects then leaving the area, I personally didn't care about this but some people didn't like the noise from the airport.

It beautiful, friendly, great food and drink. Very cautious with COVID-19. People complain. About the prices but the staff literally runs across acres to get you whatever you want.

I couldn’t find in the fine print where they charge 100$ a night per person. Needless to say, I would have been fine if that was to cover drinks, food, potentially trashing the room, etc. but it was a shock when I got there. This could have been better explained or if the front desk could have split the cost on my credit cards it would have been fine.
