Nice staff. 4 coffee machines at breakfast was very good since the breakfast area can be quite busy. Close walking distance to Clarke Quay. Nice rooftop pool, many lounge chairs to rest in. Nice gym.

There is/was a construction site next to the hotel and there was some noise from the work although windows are well insulated. Rooms are a bit small but that didn't matter for us, more importantly they were nice and clean. If you are sensitive to noise you can try to avoid rooms adjacent to elevators. No rooftop bar for some strange reason.

Perfect location Esp for the nightlife of Clarke & Robinson quay.Rooftop swimming pool and area is great for cooling off after touring all day,, also long enough to get some quality lengths in. Breakfast is ok with plenty of coffee stations. Cafe & bar was good value,Staff really friendly & helpful.

The rooms & bathroom was a little on the small size but this is Asia. Very clean & comfortable bed.

We did not love the breakfast. The variety was not there. There was ony a couple of fruit options. There also was only scrambled eggs every day. It would be nice to get other types of eggs to order. Most of the hot food items were cold.

Very good hotel well positioned near Clarke Quay where one can find a great variety of restaurants. The top floor pool has an incredible view over town . Close to bus for Chinatown and other neighbourhoods. Buffer breakfast well served. Staff very professional and kind, always ready to help.

Comfortable bed with choice of firm or soft pillows. Plentiful supply and variety of goods for breakfast . Late check out available with use of pool shower to freshen up if desired luggage kept in a secure location.

Good central hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful. Bedrooms quite small but comfortable bed and very clean. Good air-conditioning.

Nice to have a roof top pool but very limited shade and no bar//food facilities. Better to have breakfast indoors as birds a bit of a pest outdoors.

Breakfast area narrow and limited space. But if you go at the al fresco area, its a relief. Just be ready for the poop of birds flying around the al fresco area. Breakfast selection was just average.

The room was perfectly comfortable for a solo stay. While not very large, it was well-planned and felt comfortable & cosy without seeming too cramped. The space was very clean, and housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The in-room television had a great selection of channels to watch as well. The bathroom was also very well-designed and stocked with good-quality toiletries. The best part of the bathroom (for me) was that it had a jet spray/bidet! The plumbing was great, and fresh towels were delivered to the room daily (You can opt to have them changed less frequently as well). The room was adequately soundproof. Despite the hotel being fairly full during my dates of stay, I felt no disturbance or disruption. The property also has a great terrace space with a lovely view of the city, perfect for sunrise or sunset lovers. The terrace pool is a great plus, as well. Breakfast offered a considerable spread, but one must realise they're an "express" hotel. Eggs to order and other such requests are not taken, though the buffet usually had boiled eggs and scrambled as options to help oneself to. If you're staying long, the buffet can feel repetitive, but it is by no means lacking in quality. There are several good breakfast joints in the vicinity though, should you want a change of scene. The location is absolutely perfect. A stone's throw away from the Clarke Quay riverside, which is the heart of Singapore's nightlife. You're also within a few minutes' walk from MRT stations and bus stops, so connectivity is not a challenge at all. The staff were also wonderfully helpful -- for everything from giving me an umbrella when a sudden downpour caught me on my way out, to calling a cab for me (since I did not have the local taxi apps). Would definitely recommend a stay here.
