The building and room are traditional Singaporean with lovely tiles in the bath and hall. As such it's also a bit worn looking so you need to be able to see past this to appreciate it. We were initially given a room that faced a wall and we asked to be switched to one facing the street (we like street noises and preferred the view of the beautiful buildings across the road). They switched us with no problem. We also noticed a light burnt out in the bathroom which I asked them to replace and the did so the same day while we were out. The staff is very accommodating so don't hesitate to ask for what you need. The location is great - right in Chinatown.

The place is a bit worn out and we couldn't open the slates of one of the window shutters to let more light in. A bit of a refreshment and upgrade would make this a great place.

The location is amazingly strategic whereby the Chinatown MRT Station is right behind it. Nearby is filled with all the eateries and souvenir shops, and even one shop selling China stuff whereby you can buy 3 bottle drinks for just $2. The room itself is smaller but it is a common thing in Singapore where they have scarce land. The room is compact with what have equipped, the bed is not too soft nor too hard, overall I'm satisfied with what I had. Despite located at a very busy place, they have their security done well whereby after certain hours at night, you can only access to the premise with your hotel card and not any random person can just bump into the premise.

The light is bit too dim in the room, no hairdryer.

A really great choice for a cosy and quiet stay near the centre of Singapore. Hotels seem really expensive here, and not great value for money, so for me The Inn at Temple Street was a great find. I had a comfortable and quiet room, and appreciated the fridge, kettle and powerful air-conditioning. A very walkable distance from Chinatown MRT, and most of the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay in Singapore!

Great location, friendly staff. I asked "could I get a fresh towel?" and immediately felt like I asked the most stupid question that had ever been asked. It was at least funny. Foyer is very cool. Snacks across the road. Fridge fits beer.

Was a bit mouldy (for Singapore [i.e. very]), aircon was a bit bad, towels sometimes looked like floor mats, had to sit side saddle on the toilet, had to hunt in the halls for fresh towels, sheets didn't cover the bottom foot of the mattress (I felt like I'd been short sheeted), carpet was sticky and stained, wife complained about showerhead, shower door, and stairs (lack of lift). I've had worse and will have again. Know what you're getting and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Rooms are clean and feel comfortable. They are very approachable in terms of any request regarding our stay. They change bed mattress and clean the trash everyday.

They dont have elevator, and they do housekeeping without your knowledge. It goods to see the room was cleaned but our things was left there, maybe they can informed the guest if they will do the housekeeping so we can put our personal things on our luggage before we go out of our room.

Great location if you don't mind the durians of Chinatown! For a business traveler it's easy to walk around, catch the MRT or get a Grab car. Staff is nice and there's luggage storage after check-out.

Facilities a bit old - the sink had a leak which made the bathroom floor perpetually damp, and the air conditioning made a musty humidity. Noise from the street until midnight, but OK after that

My second stay at The Inn at Temple Street. I got the same room as my first stay, which I really appreciated. A quiet choice, excellent value for money, and the staff member I mostly spoke to was fantastic, really helpful and friendly. Thank you for another great stay in Singapore!

I liked my room, it had good features and a very nice bathroom, although the bath had no plug. A painting or poster on the wall would have been a nice touch. Aircon was great, bed was comfortable.

It would have been better if the windows opened.

Cleanliness and room cleaning exceptional. Good aircon. Best location for my requirements in Chinatown. Staff directed me across the street to a cafe for breakfast.

Wish there was a lift but staff carried my larger bag upstairs.

The location is amazing, China town is right on your doorstep. This does come with some noise but we were happy and our room overlooked the street.

Bathroom is slightly small but other than that, amazing value for money.
