The kindness of the Indian receptionist Karthik he was very kind, accomodating , helpful and friendly, I wish the owner/manager take his time to grown up on his development as well the other guy from Myanmar, the receptionists/housekeeper/AllInOne that works on this pkace, they are very friendly!

Breakfast could be better as well someone that seems to be the supervisor or owner of the place, they keep micromanaging the staff, staff seems to be working under pressure while he is around, just an example, twice I spotted just the regular guests asking info to the staf members and "this guy" jumpping into the conversation giving the impression that the staff doesn't know how to handle the coversation or things related. I particulary do not like this type of management, instead of invest on your own staff for their development, the managers act like they are not good enough while dealing with general stuff.

It's a pretty functional, centrally located hostel with all amenities. There is not kitchen you can cook in, but a decent included breakfast. The beds are comfy and give you lots of privacy. What I also liked was that the AC was not too cold. There is a nice terrace and a view on an original Singaporean building next door.

I chose the female dorm because I wanted to avoid loud snoring at night. However, the female dorm and the male dorm don't even have a wall separating them, it's just one room and the bunk walls separate the dorms. Therefore, there was loud snoring from the male dorm (=same room) all night. I realize the snoring is not the hostel's fault but guests should just be aware that the female dorm might shield from male gaze, but not from male snores ;)

The common CR is clean. Free breakfast though it’s only bread, coffee, milk chocolate drink and cereals everyday. Common kitchen is clean. You can put your food inside the ref. The capsule room esp the beds is good enough for 2 persons each capsule. The place is very near the shopping area and food establishments and also the MRT. It is easy to find since it is beside the street. It has a nearby Hop on Hop off stop also! The staff are also nice! They change the towels every now and then. We stayed for 5 nights. Each capsule bed has its own charging station and light. The Aircon is cool and we can also dry our shoes beside the windows.

The bed is not so comfortable. My head and back ached. Do not bring a lot of luggage, not much space though there is some space. The staff needs to sweep under the beds, it’s dirty with dust.

Location is great. Small and simple but has everything you need.

Fire exit signs are actually quite bright at night. Minor point but annoying.

The day to day staff is helpful and well mannered. The guy from India was pretty amazing, he helped me out with all the questions I got. The manager is not well trained/prepared to deal with customers. Perhaps managerial work is his thing but keep him away from the customers. He lack manners and can't communicate to customers in a professional/polite way, his attitude comes off as aggressive/intolerant/completely out of place giving the fact this is a hostel with mostly international customer's with different languages, cultures, accents not a military centre. . I already mentioned the incident in another review I left on the other wink so I won't do it twice but see the other reviews where other people complaint about his behaviour so he's definitely an issue. The space is pretty small and wall are pretty thin, some people were making calls as early as 7am and they didn't care if others were asleep. They were speaking very loudly. Another thing that I disliked was male and females bathrooms/showers are mixed. I did very much like the wink at the mosque street better. Thank you guys for your kind hospitality.

The location was great, close to the MRT and Chinatown shops. The staff was friendly, we stayed for a couple of days. Internet was good, but during the last 2 days, we faced some issues with connection. The bed was comfortable. We had towels, cups in the bathroom, and a hair dryer. You have to take off your shoes on the reception floor. It was quiet at night. The air conditioner worked well. Other guests were very friendly.

A table or a chest of drawers would be good to have in the room. We had a family room for 4 children (2 adults and 2 kids). There was nowhere to put our belongings on. Literally, we kept our stuff on the floor and on our bags.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I left in a hurry n forgotten my laptop bag in my locker underneath the bed. Wink was so kind enough to help me keep safe until I return to collect. Bed was comfy and room was good. V near to MRT and places of interest. Good location!

Aircond in the room was not so cold but the management serviced the aircond immediately after complain from the other guests too. Toilet was a bit tight because of the odd shape and need to try to shower without getting the toilet roll wet. If you are carrying big luggage, you may need to ask for help as going up the staircase is not easy.

The hostel features several bathrooms on two floors, with free use of towels. The linens are clean and snowy white. The staff, especially Mr. Kaung and his colleague San Oo, are highly motivated and accommodating, addressing any additional requests or questions promptly. The rooms are air-conditioned. I requested an extra blanket, and they provided it without any charge or hassle. Moreover, at check-out, they allowed me to store my luggage until late in the evening as I had a night flight. Breakfast is included in the stay and consisted of four types of spreads, chocolate milk, regular milk, and muesli. Guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and water throughout the day, as well as access to a refrigerator, an iron, a hairdryer, and a clothes drying rack. The rooms are cleaned and ventilated when guests are out. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with helpful staff and a great location. Public transportation options (metro, bus) are right at the doorstep, and Marina Bay is within walking distance. Thanks a lot guys, see you next time!

Brilliant! We stayed for 4 nights (family of 4, 2 boys 8 and 10). This was a little stop over on our way to Australia. The room size was fine, just had to stay organised with getting clothes out of suitcases. Location is perfect for the metro with Chinatown station, more or less opposite. Markets to eat if you are on a budget are worth exploring. We had some fantastic meals if we wanted a cheaper meal. Housekeeping was changing towels daily. AC was nice to escape the humidity at bedtime. Breakfast consisted of cereals or toast with butter, jam, peanut butter, etc Choice of instant coffees, tea, or chocolate milk

Communal area could be bigger if you are being really picky but we always had seats to eat Maybe a washing machine to wash clothes ? Again, being very picky
