Situated right next to the MRT station, it was very handy to travel everywhere in Singapore, including the airport. The staff were all helpful and friendly. I loved the internal gardens and swimming pool on the 3rd floor. I also loved having a wee tree on our balcony. We had a beautiful little yellow bird visiting it.

I wasn't so keen on the breakfast at the restaurant next door. They would charge extra for basic things like Earl Grey tea or almond milk. The food was OK but a bit repetitive when you're staying a few nights.

This place is a great location and has bus, train and walking distance to shops and food. The staff are always welcoming and happy to assist. About a $30 Australian cab fare from the airport. The pool looked great, but we didn't get to use it. Fresh water bottles every day and tea and coffee and fridge were good.

There were no power points in the bathroom, and the sink drained very slowly. Two large suitcases take up space, but we just needed somewhere to sleep after being out all day.

Excellent location, MRT next door, food eateries close by. Clean room, serviced daily with change of towels and provided bottles of waters.

We don't have any major issues to highlight however maybe some guests would like to be informed that the room is a little on a smaller side eg you might have space constraint in trying to lay flat a medium/large suitcase. Be prepared to hear noises from corridor if there are guests talking or looking for other guests in their rooms. It didn't bother us too much.

We stayed at V Hotel Bencoolen in Singapore from December 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025, for 4 nights, and it was an exceptional experience. The room, bathroom, and overall cleanliness were impeccable. The staff was highly professional and attentive. The location is ideal, being just a few meters from the Metro station, which made exploring Singapore very convenient. We would like to give special recognition to May, a member of the housekeeping team, for her outstanding work. She ensured our room was cleaned daily, provided all the necessary amenities, and was always approachable whenever we needed assistance. Her dedication and hard work were truly impressive. There’s nothing negative to mention about our stay , everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely choose V Hotel Bencoolen again when we visit Singapore in the future. The location was excellent. We could walk around and see all the sights and visit places of interest without any hassle. The room was clean and relatively new. We got an early checkin at no extra cost, and check in process was quick and smooth.

The size of room was very small. Should have booked bigger room. There was an odd bad smell after cleaning the second day. Probably the mop. Which lingerd a bit. Also the corridor to the rooms looked cheap and there was no proper lobby area. There seems to be no luggage hold area as the drop off is at the rear, and saw the luggage stacked in open space there.

Perfectly located next to Bencoolen MRT Station and close to the art university, this spot offers convenience at its best. The surrounding area boasts numerous delightful restaurants, with Bugis and the iconic Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple just a short walk away. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Clean room.

The rooms present some challenges. Be prepared for a cozy—perhaps too cozy—accommodation. The rooms are quite compact, leaving little room for baby strollers. Sound insulation is minimal, meaning you'll likely become an unintended listener to your neighbors' conversations, baby cries, shower sounds, and even housekeeping activities. A word of caution: you'll receive just one towel, with no separate hair towel provided. Pack accordingly!

Every member of staff provided excellent service well above expectations. This is the friendliest hotel that we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Although the room was small it was all we wanted and the position is great 2 mind from MRT.

Location is super! It's real short walk to the subway and bus stops. The area is clean and modern with lof of food and bar choices. Not far from the main SG attractions. The room price is nice as well, I'd think of this hotel if I come back for a leisure trip in SG. I also got nice view from my room.

The room is pretty compact but still OK since I stayed alone. Hotel provides water via the self-service water filter machine in the room, not in bottles. It's OK and I get the sustainability perspective, but still prefer the nice and easy bottles.

Location is great as it is by the beach and near to restaurants, shopping center, airport and you can get a taxi or grab in few minutes. The hotel restaurants were great and everyone was very friendly. Knowing that the neighborhood is busy with traffic and people, the room was nice and quiet.

I would have loved to have a hair dryier at the room. We were unable to adjust the aircondicion and the room was a bit cold.
