Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean as well.

We ordered breakfast to go the last night of our stay the day before. We said the time we were leaving and what time we wanted it to be ready. The receptionist wrote it down and said it was not a problem. The next day we went to the reception to get the breakfast we had ordered, and another receptionist said that it was to early and we wouldn't get any breakfast to go. This was quite annoying since we counted on getting breakfast they said we would get, and we hadn't fixed anything to eat for ourselves because of it.

Hotel is well equipped, gym is huge and pool too. Site is nice. Premium room is worth the upgrade. Enjoyed the view and outdoor options for seating and relaxation.

Staff helped minimally. Seemed to be on their phones a lot. When asking for a dinner reservation because the restaurant only spoke Romanian, the hotel receptionist used my phone instead of the hotel phone, very odd. Gym not open early in the morning on the weekend. For us travellers, it is imperative that we have options to use the gym or pool at 6am also on the weekends. Stairs to great hall blocked by doors which are inconvenient to open/close with lots of traffic. optimally they stay open or shut.

The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was great,they did everything above and beyond. This was a birthday vacation for my father, Daniel did everything to make parents stay amazing, even a nice celebration surprise. We are grateful we had Daniel as our host at CARO. Definitely we will comeback.

Communication between staff could be improved.Payed for everything from day one at check in. After check out the same amount was charged again on my card. Called the reception after and they said they don't know why this happened. They of course payed me back imediately but I find it unsettling to know they can charge your card even after check out and If I wouldn't have received a bank alert no one would have noticed.

The location is very good, close to airport, center of the city, shops. The traffic around was very heavy and it took a long time to travel in and out the hotel. However, this is due to temporary works on the roads. I stayed in a very nice room, great design, comfortable bed, very quiet and clean. Great to be able to go to the World class gym, swimming pool, sauna and rest areas. Check in and check out was very quick and efficient.

Breakfast was disappointing. Cold boiled eggs and cold eggs Benedictine, danish pastry from frozen packs, cheapest yoghurts. Breakfast room design could be more welcoming and updated. No beverage bar in the room. One complimentary bottle of water was available upon my arrival, not renewed afterwards.

My stay in Caro Hotel was very good. The staff is kind and polite. The facilities are good, it's clean. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast was also very good with lots of options!

Noting really to complain about, just keep an eye on the general maintenance in the rooms. The plastic holders of the clothes hangers in the rooms are getting loosen and do not support heavier clothes like coats. A box of facial tissue paper in the bathroom will be a great asset!

This was a great place for our first night in Bucharest, especially with a rental car. It's an easy drive from the airport and has plentiful parking (not free, but having such an easy option in a city we don't know well was great). There are restaurant options onsite with really nice food, so that's a major bonus as well when you're arriving and just want to get settled in. The room was very comfortable, quiet and attractive—everything we could have wanted.

Nothing to dislike in our experience.

The receptionist was not very friendly, but all the other staff were friendly and helpful. Also, I should have been asked for my booking reference number rather than my name. Using my name, I was given the impression that only one room was booked. There were 2 rooms under the booking reference, one room for myself and the other for my friend.

Location is good, breakfast is good is time for it suits you and green hotel territory.

One day before my departure from the hotel I came to the reception and asked for possibility to provide me with breakfast box at 6am when I would check out the next morning.When the morning came I made check out and found out that noone prepared me a breakfast box.Personel of the hotel simply forgot about my order.Noone gave me money back for my breakfast.The only thing guy at the reception kindly gave me yogurt and a bottle of water because I asked at least for something. Last time I stayed in Caro there was a problem with room, I was provided with terrible room not as requested, and there was no hot water in the room, now issue with the breakfast.To be honest I dont know if I will come here again or not.

I used to come to the hotel some 20 years ago, and at that time it was one of the posh accommodations in Bucharest. It has changed a lot, I barely recognized the red brick walls. My room this time was spacious with a nice terrace that was a bonus on the fairly warm October days I spent there. The hotel looked well-organized and impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable (of the hard matress type), the linen and the towels were high-quality.

A bit far from the city center, but close to the conference center I visited, the location is okay. Public transport is a bit complicated to the center (a long walk to the metro or a few transfers with bus/tram), but it was also okay to take a taxi, and a lift from the Piata Universitate was some EUR 8. The location is then nice and quiet, and sports a park and also a lake. Inside the complex there is also a pool. The furniture looked a bit old-fashioned, as if it wasn't changed in the past 20-25 years (see photos), but it was in perfect shape.

Nice rooms and clean.

It was supposed to not get changed for a 2 hour stay when I arrived. Receptionist told me I will not be charged, till I get my stuff to the room. At check out another receptionist charged me for 100 lei for 2 days, without having a car in their parking garage. It was supposed to cancel the charge. Till today, 15 days after they are still not answering to my emails and phone calls. Too bad for this hotel, not answering and not returning the money.
