We enjoyed the location and its proximity to the city center, the spacious room and the feeling of living in such a historic and splendid old town. Room was very comfortable, clean and spacious with heated floors which were very nice to have especially at ground floor level. We also enjoyed the soft water - perhaps it is more of a municipality thing than of the property, but it worths mentioning it. For us it was a very nice surprize.

My pregnant wife did not have the best sleep and she mentioned that the mattress was a bit soft for her comfort. If that would have been our home, i would have changed it to be honest also. However, this is a particular topic, subjective choice and some might enjoy it this way better than we have.

The location is excellent. Walk 5 minutes uphill to the main square, restaurants, the museums and historic churches; walk downhill to a lane with small wine-bars, pizzerias and cafes. Our room was quite spacious, with clothes-hanging space, a sofa, comfortable double-bed and a coffee maker. The only staff we ever saw was the cleaner, access codes and details were sent via whatsapp.

No safe for travel documents/ valuables. A little traffic noise if you're in the front room and like to have a window open at night.

Friendly and efficient interactions with our hosts. Beautifully decorated spacious room, comfortable large bed, airconditioning, perfect location, and quiet public parking right outside the door. Beautiful town to explore. and many restaurants (book ahead!) Loved the cool cellar with drinks facilities. All on one level from the street (except for cellar obviously). There was a family with children in the opposite room and we didn't hear a thing. It was exactly what we were looking for, and more, there is nothing that could be improved as far as I'm concerned.

- Staff: fast response speed on Booking. Never see another staff in person. - Comfort/Cleanliness: the split AC/heater works. The bathroom and room is spacious. The bed is really comfortable. - Amenities: the cellar that offers water, microwave, coffee, some plates and utensils are a nice place to have some food, drinks or do some work. The room is quite cold but there are blankets and heaters that can be turned up. - Location: Really close to the city center so everything is easy to explore. Parking is 12 Lei per day right outside, but if you are willing to walk 2 mins there is free parking. - Overall value: pretty good place to stay.

we were assigned room 3. It is right by the smoking/garden area. Candy wrappers from last stay was still left on the tray. The room smelled really musty and heavy mildew. We had to keep opening the windows to let some fresh air in. The shower drain is quite clogged as we showered. The coffee machine isn't cleaned or serviced so there's a constant flashing light.

Close to the center and the Christmas market, just a 3-minute walk away, this charming small hotel boasts a very pleasant interior design that creates an overall cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the fast Wi-Fi adds to the convenience of the place. The basement is very nice, and it could be even better if the tables and chairs are arranged more thoughtfully. Adding candles during the night would enhance the ambiance further.

I dislike the carpet in the hotel room. If it's going to be used, it should be cleaned every month or two. The carpet tends to develop a funky smell, especially in the winter. The room was a bit chilly, and the thermostat couldn't heat above 22 degrees Celsius. During cold nights, it would be better if the thermostat could provide more warmth.

This was a surprisingly modern and recently renovated property. We stayed in room three which is out the back and was extremely quiet, which I appreciated. Honestly, the quiet music and fragrance in the reception were top-class. And I wish I had a basement like they had here for coffee/tea facilities for my wine cellar back home.

There was a minor issue with the shower base not draining as quickly as the water coming into it. Probably fixed by now.

Everything. The owner was so nice, very welcoming and warm and we appreciated that he blocked the parking lot exactly in front of the building, so no hassle for us. The place is really in the center and you get easy access to all the restaurants and cafes in the area.

only one small thing: there was a smell after few hours coming from the bath and is from the ventilation system not working properly.

The room and the location. Very nice design of the place and good location - close to Piata Mare.

In the description they wrote: "Every room is fitted with a coffee machine..." which is not true. The room I booked didn't have any... The only coffee machine is located in the kitchenette/dining area which is a common area, located outside the room. No milk available. The checkout is at 11:00. I arrived and checked în very late - at midnight,, after a long drive. In the morning, the cleaning lady asked me too leave the room immediately, at 11.02, which I did. She didn't know, but that day was my nameday and also birthday....

Great location close to Piata Mare, yet very quiet. Very nicely decorated rooms with attention to details, and super accommodating hosts that helped us with local tips and making it a perfect family stay.

It’s very close to the center in a quiet area, it’s nicely renovated, we had the no. 5 room which is up in the attic , there’s a cozy feeling about the place. Extra points for communication, the owner sent a very clear message will all info needed.

it was a bit cold for us, maybe because the room is in the attic and there is a huge space, between the room and the bathroom. However one radiator was making a huge noise from time to time can be disturbing. Also the stairs walking up to the room are very steep but it’s an old building and it’s normal.
