The location is about a 15-minute walk from Al-haram, which is quite convenient. However, it's important to note that the walk includes a steep incline, which might be challenging for older guests or those dealing with severe sciatica pain. On the positive side, the area around the hotel is lively and offers plenty of options. There are several local eats, offering delicious food, refreshing fresh fruit juices, and a money exchange. Additionally, there are shops, a barber, and even a supermarket down the street, making it easy to grab essentials or enjoy a leisurely stroll. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and respectful, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, we did experience a bit of dissatisfaction when we first arrived in our room. The shower had a defect, and water was leaking outside the shower area. We had to call reception several times before they finally changed our room. Since we were tired and needed to go perform Umrah, this issue was a bit frustrating, but once resolved, we were able to enjoy our stays. I would also add that cleanliness could be a little more emphasise. The bed sheets and towels are very clean and can be changed whenever required which was great but the toilet, sink and shower area could use a bit more detergent and care. Overall, despite this small hiccup, the hotel provided a great experience with its location, friendly staff, and nearby amenities. Just be mindful of the uphill walk if you have mobility concerns.

Dear Ghouson, I just left Al Kiswah Towers, and I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your kindness and professionalism during my stay. Your excellent command of English made communication so easy and comfortable, and your helpful attitude truly made a difference. Your warm and welcoming approach, along with your willingness to assist, made my experience even more pleasant. I truly appreciate your effort and dedication — it did not go unnoticed. Thank you once again for your outstanding service. I wish you all the best, and I hope to visit again soon! Warm regards,

I had a wonderful stay at Al Kiswah Hotel in Mecca. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Miss Lama and her colleague (unfortunately, I forgot her name). They both displayed exceptional professionalism and kindness throughout my stay, making check-in a smooth and pleasant experience. Their politeness and attention to detail truly stood out, and it made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. It's rare to encounter such friendly and efficient service, and I truly appreciate their efforts in making my stay unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
I had a pleasant stay at Al Kiswah Hotel, but there is one suggestion I’d like to share. During our time at the hotel, my family and I noticed that the ladies at the reception were standing for long periods throughout the day while assisting guests. While they were always polite and professional, we felt it would be more comfortable for them if the hotel could provide chairs at their workstations. This simple change would support their well-being and make their job a bit easier. I hope the hotel administration can consider this suggestion for the benefit of the staff.

Distance was okay. Alhamdulilla it was good ..But bus we had to wait for long time and parks at a long distance , from there to access mathaf iis a big task .. it reaches to a separate n far wings of masjid .. better dont prefer the bus service
Long time waiting for Bus service makes it crowded and rush . The phone customer service are not working as well .. they are just for name sake . Each time we have to go fown snd inform in the reception for room service . They never pick up the phone .

A quality hotel, very well maintained, clean & tidy rooms, complimentary bowl of fruit & bottles of water, large working reception area, shops/food places all around hotel. Really good value for money. Wonderful soft towels, really comfortable bed. Just a really good quality hotel. I definitely recommend it, and I would definitely stay there again.
Families with younger children might - probably definitely will - struggle due to distance. Walking is at least 15-mins minimum. There is a free shuttle, but that drops you off with a 7-8 mins walk still required to enter Masjid al Haram. Single people, couples, families with older children will have no issues, well worth it for a fraction of what you will pay in hotels immediate surrounding the haram.

It is roughly 5 minutes by free shuttle bus to the haram - the bus stops next to the new extension of the haram which has plenty of space. The shuttle buses come every 3 minutes, and there are more than 5 of them. The breakfast buffet from 6am to 11am has a good selection of food and drinks to choose from, with helpful staff and good places to sit, at a cheap price of 40 riyal per person per day (you pay at the restaurant itself). The beds were comfortable and big in size, and clean. They give free water and the fridge was very good too. The ladies at reception were very well mannered and well trained. The laundry service was very fast. Plenty of gift shops and mini markets on Ground floor. There is a prayer room, wudhu area, small gym room, and even a kids area too, all within tower 1 - there are 5 towers. There are plenty of cabs outside of tower 1 to get anywhere e.g. ziyarat or station. The hotel is very big and very well priced, without being too far from the haram.
The young man at reception needs to learn some manners and learn how to speak to people. The free wifi is practically useless. The shower was a little weak and there could be bigger or better shower head.

1. Good value. 2. On the way from and back to the hotel, there are little traditional bazar which sells gift things. 3. Travel from the airport to the hotel is sooo easy because Jarwal bus station is 5 minutes walk near to the hotel.. 5 star bus will take you from airport to the hotel and vise versa on SR 25 only each.. You can book bus tickets online from "nwbus.sa".. or once you land your flight in jeddah airport, you can book tickets from the ground floor, you will find a little plastic kiosk for northwest.. other buses are there but I liked the bus quality for them.. wide chairs , usb charge, new buses, ac, usually not crowded.
Location: 10 to 20 minutes of walking on a flat surface to the nearest Haram(Holy Mosque) door.. based on how fast you walk and crowdness.. However, if you are for umrah( I mean wearing an umrah suit), consider 30 to 40 minutes walk because the door dedicated for umrah by authorities is far. Same of the above applies for the return trip back to the hotel.. Maybe this period of time of walking is good for you vs money but for me it was difficult to manage time for every pray half an hour before Azan just to catch pray in the Haram.

Fairly decent hotel with all amenities. Staff is helpful.
Don't understand the purpose of free shuttle; it is much quicker to walk to haram all the way from the hotel. May be it is just a service for attracting customers. It gets quite rushy on the bus and also it drops at jarwal station and from there on, people have to walk (80% distance) to the haram. I only took the bus once and realized that it doesn't make sense or add any value. Walk from hotel to haram roughly takes 15-20 mins; depends how fast you walk. There is a bit of elevation on the way. Not very convenient walk for elderly people. Didn't like the fragrance in the lobby. They should try some different fragrance.

I didn't like to the fact that the receptionist male made me and my son wait in the reception becoz we were there to early for checking in. Even explained that came from masjid aqsa was in my ehram mode and needed to leave luggage in the room so I can go and complete my umrah. I was in my ehram for 27 hours and he stil would not let me check in.

The location was good for ages group 18 - 50 in particular. It's a walking distance of 15 minutes to & from Masjid Al Haram, just a 5 minutes path towards the end is a bit Steep. Beside that the 24/7 shuttle drops you near that steep and you climb uphill for 5 minutes and on your left it's Masjid Al Haram opposite Anjum Hotel. The taxi might cost you 10 to 15 riyal dropping you off at Gaza (Umrah) Side or Fahd gate underneath the the tunnel where you take an escalator & come up Infront of the Fahd gate entrance, The lifts at the hotel were immaculate, very quick & around 12 of them in our tower 1. The receptionists were very well mannered and professional, the cleaning staff was good as well. Doing free laundry at night was fun as well haha. Very peaceful stay.
Maybe a couple of good restaurants within the hotel with better options would have been ideal. They do have a restaurant in tower 2 but the options given were mediocre.
