Do not judge a book by its cover. This is a wonderful “motel” that has been completely renovated inside. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have very comfortable beds with quality linens. The rooms have a fridge, microwave and Keurig. Although on the small side we did not find them confining. A table and 2 chairs are provided. The bathroom shower is smaller but we found it to be fine. The bathroom itself again is small but adequate. For the price it can’t be beat. The woman who owned it was very friendly and originally comes from my home state…small world. There are many restaurants nearby. The Loading Dock, a local favorite, was great. We ate there twice. Although some reviews complained about the A/C, the units seem to be all replaced. Ours was brand new and worked well. Great TV and internet service. We highly recommend this little gem.

No breakfast but for the price there are many places nearby or go to Sheetz next door and get some great donuts and use the Keurig in the room.

I was a little hesitant booking a motel, but the Dunmore Inn checked all our boxes. It was easy to check-in, as we showed up at 10pm and were immediately greeted in the main office by an employee. She was pleasant and made the check in process smooth. Upon entering the room, it was exactly as advertised. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. A great place for us to stay for an evening before another day full of traveling.

N/A. We were looking for a place halfway during our travel across the country and the Dunmore Inn was a perfect spot for us to rest up for the evening and get traveling the next day. I have no complaints.

With a little more care and planning this motel could exceed expectations. However, that guest-awareness is not there, so it's only OK. Things I missed or would improve on: second bed-site table, coat hangers, shower is tight and there is no light in the shower, hooks in the bathroom to hand coats, towels, heating wasn't turned on when we arrived, no coffee machine in the room.

Lighting is too bright in the room would be nice to have Soft light lamp On end table. And only one end table on the king bed would like to have one on the other side also for the other person to put their stuff on. Also would be nice to have a lounge chair to sit on as well.

The woman at the front desk was very nice, friendly, very thorough! Always smiling. The room, while small, it was well organized. It was a bright and cheerful room. Traveling with my grandson, it was perfect for us. We both kept saying how cute the room was. The king sized bed was amazingly comfortable.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was in the small shower my arm/shoulder would bump into the metal bar where you hang the washcloth. But this is a place I'd stay again without hesitation.

Friendly and clean and great that it had a wood floor no rugs. Comfy bed. Good heat and hot water. Fridge freezer and microwave. Would come back. No bugs. Nice owner.

No bathtub. Ridiculously late check in. This is a budget place. No frills. No closet just a bar. No hangers. But it still was $85 mid week which I think is to high for what I got. But other hotels were even more overpriced.

Very, very clean room! We were very pleased with the area and the dining establishments nearby. We were in the area for the NASCAR Pocono races and came across the Dunmore Inn. It was quiet and perfect for our stay of three nights. There was a microwave and a larger-than-normal hotel room refrigerator. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Our room was freshened up each day with clean towels, trash can emptied, etc. We would stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

The only recommendation I would make would be to place a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang a towel, bathrobe, etc.

It is a classic, "fifties" motel. Very clean, nice bed, nice bath. But very Spartan. Room freshly painted, nicely carpeted, but very small. We wanted only a place to sleep; it offered that and at a very affordable cost. There was an air conditioner, clock radio, TV, microwave and small fridge, and small table with two dining chairs. Mattress was very comfortable.

OK, let's start with adding night tables on each side of the bed with lamps. The only lighting was bright, undimmable, overhead can lights, operated by wall switches. (Had to find the bed in the dark!) Bathroom could have used a dimmer or "night light". Air conditioner was new but had a lot of features so could have used a printed instructions card. (Went on and off until we found it on "power saver".)

Staff were warm and welcoming. 😊😊 Good value for money. The room was modern looking with a TV, fridge and microwave.. It was very clean and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay even though it was only for one night. We would have stayed longer at the Dunmore Inn if we hadn't had other plans on our road trip. Would definitely recommend it.. 😊😊

😊😊 There wasn't anything we didn't like although coffee/tea facilities in the room would have been nice. This was available in the main office though. It didn't spoil our stay none the less. 😊😊

Great room! Very clean and fresh smelling

The host/hostess were not very friendly, the first thing she asked me was when are you leaving in the morning! Then the heat was working in out room, it was cold in there, when I asked why we couldn’t get our heat to work she said no one wants heat in April!! Had to insist that we did need it!! She seemed hesitant and not too pleased but we did get it!
