Great location. On the waterfront. Free on site parking within walking distance to downtown so we didn’t have to pay for parking every time we got out of the car in the downtown area. Had a lovely partial water view from our room. Room had lovely small balcony with chairs. Room had satellite tv so we were able to watch the playoff hockey game. Comfortable.

Room was in the basement so we could hear the sounds of movement of staff on the main floor in the morning and there were a number of loud float planes taking off quite early in the morning. Those are mostly a problem if you want to sleep in and noise bothers you. The tv in the room was small. No air conditioning.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We had a late ferry so had to check in very late. The staff made sure I had the keys upon arrival. The room we had was sea facing and it was worth it. Could watch the beautiful scenic view from the and the private balcony! The room was big and clean. The sheets were washed and clean, could feel it. The complimentary coffee in the room was local and tasted great! Definitely recommended! The location is great and of course the view!

Wish there was a lock on the balcony door, even though it wasn't a big problem. No complaints.

The Inn at Tough City is a quaint boutique hotel with an eclectic collection of furnishings. Our room had a beautiful view of the harbour and a private little balcony to sit out on and enjoy the view! The location is perfect with all the offerings in Tofino within walking distance. Then there’s easy access to beaches, swimming, surfing, hiking and bicycling trails. We LOVE Tofino and the Inn was a fun place to stay!

The raw salmon/tuna in your restaurant was the best I have eaten anywhere in the world!! The view from the patio is also outstanding. The room was a nice size and tastefully finished!

There is a rather noisy kitchen fan going just off the balcony making the balcony not usable when the kitchen was open. Fortunately the kitchen was closed most of the time I was there (for you mid-week closing days) so I could enjoy the small balcony during those times.

The inn was very centrally located and within walking distance of anything in town. Plus, from the patio there was a fantastic view of the harbour. I didn’t have a water facing room but was told I could make myself at home on the restaurant patio in the evening to take in the views. I was even offered a throw blanket to keep me warm as the evenings were chilly in September. There were multiple maps available of the town and surrounding area and staff was very helpful with recommendations. My room was a very good size and comfortable. Well supplied with coffee, glasses, towels etc.

The room was quaint, clean and had a good decent view of the water and mountains (We were in room 6, I think 4 and 5 have the best views). Good price for expensive Tofino. The staff was outstanding and the restaurant downstairs had excellent sushi and fresh oysters - with top notch service as well. We will happily stay here in the future!

Only thing was not great parking but it was not a big deal!

The location was great, staff were friendly, and the bed was so comfy! It was the perfect way to wrap up a stay along the coast. In addition, lots of activities launch off nearby (kayaking, whale watching, bike rentals) and the restaurants and supermarket are all walking distance. Nice base location.

It would be even better if there was designated parking. They had a part of the road reserved but there wasn’t enough space for us. I find that Tofino is extremely overpriced for accommodations. So while The Inn is expensive for what you get, it was the best / great “budget option” for the area considering the location, standard amenities, comfy bed... especially considering Hotel Zed charges so much more, and it’s not within the town.

Check in easy, my wife was very sick so all she required was a comfortable bed and quietness which was what the room provided. The staff were thoughtful especially with timing of departure the next morning. The view from the room was true to the location, looking over the bay with everyday happenings of the environment. Hospitality outstanding for myself, a true opportunity to met the friendly locals in the bar while on my own.

Location was excellent. Comfy beds, good size room complete with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Quirky decor, lovely coloured glass windows, and lovely little balcony. Nice bathroom with big bath and plenty of towels and toiletries. Friendly owners. Ate a nice meal at the sushi bar downstairs with beautiful views across the water. Really liked it.

OMG it was awesome !!! Room was big & cozy. Great location. Dion at front desk was amazing, so nice & helpfull 🤩 Again place was amazing I'm 100% staying there again. We ate at the sushi bar downstairs, food was sooo good 🤤 if you're in Tofino you should eat there. Juhelle was our sever 🤩 again amazing. We had such a good time & thank you ladies for being a big part of that 🥰
