Large room with table, chairs, wardrobe and small kitchen. Comfortable beds and large bathroom with good shower. Carolina and Cesar were friendly and helpful. Hotel is 2 blocks from pedestrian street thru the old city, and to the other side close to the waterfront promenade.

The cleanliness of the room could be better. There was dust everywhere (bed frame, table, stuck to the bathroom ceiling).

This is a quirky hotel - very modern, bare concrete , steel - yet it all worked to the design plan. Our bedroom was specious, well appointed, excellent beds and crisp linen, large windows overlooking the sea, spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi. Check-in very friendly and friendly. It is a very short walk to the esplanade and about 10-15 minutes to the main drag.

The area itself is not interesting, but it is easy to walk to the centre or along the sea front.

Comfortable, modern hotel in a good location close to the old city attractions, the rambla for walking along the shore and not far to walk to the main square. At the front desk Caesar was extremely helpful with storing luggage, information etc. Good breakfast, large comfortable room with kettle and seaview, good shower and wifi.

Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Spartan furniture and kitchen. Small fridge and no coffee maker. Dishes had to be borrowed from management. Deck needs proper table chairs and umbrella.

the room was very clean and with a terrace. An amazing view to the river. It was very close to most of the old city attractions. walk around even at night was very safe.

The breakfast was not included. TV in the room is too small, but it's ok, I used it only at bed time. A bad smell was coming from the bathroom drain, they should put a lid in there.

Sea view and location close to the port. Nicely finished rooms. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Couldn’t enjoy the sea view while sitting in the chairs; had to climb up on the high window to enjoy the view.

Easy to get to, Katherine at front desk helpful, was able to pay for late check out

Had to walk thru 2 blocks of homeless carry dudes, graffiti on buildings, afraid to be out after dark

Good location in the old city and one short block from the waterfront. Easy walk to Plaza Independencia/the old city gate and the pedestrianized street that leads to the Mercado del Puerto. Easy to reach Tres Cruces bus station by taxi (lots of taxis within an easy short walk). Good hotel with a good breakfast - thank you.

The rooms are huge and in winter also warm with the AC working as a heater. I had asked for a quiet room and had a very quiet one away from the main roads. Excellent!

As many people have said already, the breakfast is not bad, but after 2 or 3 days becomes boring as it is always the same, with only a choice for which type of piece of fruit you want. I opted after 2 days to buy my own breakfast. This is not in line with the high quality of the rest of the establishment.
