Lovely staff all the way from checking in to breakfast to checking out. Room was fine with a lovely view over the river. A really comprehensive, perfectly cooked and presented breakfast.

There was nothing that we 'didn't like'..... Even though we had no hot water in the mornings due to a boiler malfunction it was no inconvenience to us. We had an electric shower in our room .......and being of a 'less reliant generation' we improvised to shave etc with the use of the modern invention of an electric kettle!!! ..."Simples!!!" When the lady in the breakfast room learned that we had no hot water she arranged to have it rectified at the earliest possible moment....and she even familiarised herself with the process to address the problem immediately herself !! She was no less than brilliant!!.

Liked that The White Hart was in close proximity to the Iron bridge & overlooking the river. Also close to shops/cafes, pubs/restaurants, an antique centre, museums, a lovely park and easy car parking nearby. Loved the old fashioned, characterful decor & furniture in the pub/restaurant. Bedroom of room 7 nicely decorated, with very large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was particularly characterful & spacious. Excellent cooked breakfast and good evening meal during our stay with lovely staff. Good tea/coffee making facility in room, with spares in baskets in entrance area. Iron/ironing board and hoover in the entrance hall area leading to these two rooms also.

Our room (no. 7) had a river view which was lovely, but the road directly beneath window was a little busier/noisier than expected. The temperature was a bit hit & miss. Bedroom was extremely warm & uncomfortable to sleep in as the radiators were on full blast during the day, windows did open slightly for a bit of fresh air. We managed to turn it down on our second night and noticed radiators were off completely the morning we left, so this could have been a one off situation or oversight. Be aware the stairs to rooms 6 & 7 are quite steep with narrow steps.

We have just had a 2 night stay at The White Hart and enjoyed our stay immensley. The room was cosy and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the food on the evening menu equally delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We look forward to a return at a later date, especially as The White Hart is in a prime location for visiting all the museums within Ironbridge and the surrounding area. Sadly, we did not get to the museums as they do not open Monday and Tuesday for the spring season until next week, 7th April. This did not in anyway dull our stay.

I was arriving very late and the staff sent clear information to enable my easy access ahead of time via email with plenty of notice. Everything was covered in the email. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. Access to the pub/restaurant was extremely easy. The food and local drinks were exceptional. The staff could not have been more helpful. I immediately felt welcome, relaxed and the care they provided felt heartfelt. I would 100% stay again and recommend this as it is all walking distance from the famous iron bridge and near enough to Telford for a short commute. Parking is also very accessible and for the hours I stayed, free also. Great value for money, and a more authentic experience especially when compared with famous hotel chains.

Our room was clean, the food on Saturday evening was good,and the breakfasts delicious, the bacon was especially good.

We weren't told about the pub closing early on a Sunday. We knew they didn't serve food on Sunday evening. We returned at 20:30 hrs, and couldn't get in, fortunately another guest let us in. We hadn't been told about the guests access! We mentioned it in the morning and the member of staff said she would discuss it with the manager, it might be good to put the access information in the guest handbook.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the chicken Kiev i had on my final night there was without doubt the best i have ever had. The rooms were clean tidy and spacious with a very large shower room, the shower was particularly good. Good sized TV

The TV in our room was very temperamental. You could get all the channels in the evening but if you put the tv on in the morning whilst you were getting ready, you couldn't get anything. No big deal but a little odd. WiFi was a bit weak but only an issue if you are there on business.

Lovely country pub with modern rooms. Fantastic position in Ironbridge and the view from the bedroom of the river was amazing. Food was exceptional.

The only down side was that our room was accessed separately, from the outside and it wasn’t obvious how to re-enter the pub the following morning for breakfast. A sign on one of the 4 doors possible would have been helpful. Last orders in the bar were called at 9.30pm, which seemed a little early. After our meal we went to another pub down the road.

Our room (7) exceeded our expectations. Bedroom was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful view over the River Severn and Ironbridge is just lovely. The bathroom....WOW.....absolutely gorgeous........roll top bath, fireplace, shower......again, spotlessly clean. It was a very warm time when we stayed and a fan had been provided which did the job and cooled us down. Well done to all the team as the weather was so hot whilst we were there but everything was perfect! Breakfast was delicious, lunch was a small snack which was tasty and the evening meal was superb.

The location was amazing. We were only stopping for the night so didn’t get a proper chance to look around Ironbridge or the property but we’re looking forward to returning. The restaurant was lovely and both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious, so can highly recommend!

Sadly, the bathroom was a let down to an otherwise cosy room. There was quite a strong drain/sewage odour as soon as you opened the door to the bathroom, which we put down to the age of the building. We also couldn’t get any hot water in the shower, which was disappointing.

Beautiful traditional inn, immaculately kept and tastefully decorated in keeping with the character of the building. Perfect location near the Iron Bridge, museums, walks, local cafes and shops. Stayed in a superior room with lovely views overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and great power shower. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. We had arrived early and our bags were taken up to our room for us until it was ready.

Nothing. As noted there is no parking at the White Hart due to its central location but the main long stay car park was only a short walk across the bridge. Only £6 for 24 hours and easy to extend remotely via the parking app if needed.
