The room was well set out with lots of storage and even a foldaway cot with spare bedding if needed. Hairdryer, iron & ironing board supplied. Towels were a great size and there was a good selection of biscuits & teas, coffee's etc. Plugs either side of the bed for phone charging. Breakfast was lovely; I had the salmon & scrambled eggs on the first day and the portion was huge and really tasty. The fried eggs on the second day were lovely. The choice of cereals and juices was a bit limited but fine for us. We could order more drinks and toast if we needed. Had evening meal one night and it was lovely; veggie burger and chips for me and braised steak pie for hubby and both were great portions and tasty.

A bit noisy with when staff were packing away and setting up from the pub section below. Needed 2 tea bags in the pot of tea and the toast was only done on 1 side on the second day but was still tasty.

Restaurant for evening meal - don't pass it by - fantastic food.- High quality and a decent price. Beer - there is a reason that it is in the CAMRA best 50 places listing. Car Park - plenty of availabiity. Indoor and outdoor dining. Staff - were amazing - courteous, polite, well-presented, knew what they were doing. Good open space for breakfast. Clean, accessible and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal Room was a little warm but I'm not going to have a problem with sunny weather. All needs met No issues to speak of.

I really struggle to find any faults - therefore - faultless Would have been nice to have iron and ironing board in room but no hassle in requesting. TV a little on the small size but this did not detract from the overall experience.

We came to Shropshire on the motorbike to enjoy the amazing views. Sadly, we picked a rainy and cloudy day to come so our travel over Clee Hill wasn't quite as awe-inspiring as we'd hoped. This just means we'll have to do it again, another day. The Huntsman is a great little place - good parking for the motorbike and we were really pleased to find we could see the bike from our room! The accommodation was great - the bathroom was like new and the bed was very confortable. We ate here and the portion sizes were generous to say the least which meant we couldn't manage a desert so that's another thing for next time. Another bonus was the good selection of ales. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely come here again.

Nothing comes to mind

This was a welcome treat after the hustle and bustle of central Telford. 10 minutes drive and it feels like you’re in the middle of the countryside. The accommodation was welcoming, clean and very cosy.

They only down side would be the people leaving the pub and going back to their cars. It wasn’t a problem for us, as we were well aware that it was a pub and people would be enjoying a Saturday night. If you’re looking for absolute quiet, just bear this mind, but it’s nothing that my ear plugs didn’t block. it didn’t effect my son at all, he was out like a light.

The Huntsman is lovely! A gorgeous comfy room upstairs with a juliet balcony and good views. Very quiet, very clean, a powerful shower and a lovely 'tea tray' too. Breakfast is ordered the night before and was great. We also had a sunday lunch whilst there (obviously not included in the price) it was reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble

On Sunday night they close at 9pm... ... but we drove out to a nearby pub called The Pheasant which was a friendly place.

This is a great place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, staff are extremely helpful and polite, food at the restaurant is amazing and reasonable priced. Costa for the room are very reasonable. After eating at the restaurant I returned to the room only to receive a knock on the door by a staff member who returned my mobile phone to me having being left at my table. Total respect to the staff.

Not much to not like at this price. It would be really picky to make mention of any very small issue as these are dealt with immediately by the staff.

The location was lovely - nice countryside. Restaurant had a great atmosphere with plenty of room between tables and very tastefully decorated. Food was very good - both the dinner and the breakfast. The young staff in particular were extremely friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Room was extremely hot - a small fan or air conditioning units would have helped. Also, double bed was so small - might be a good idea to invest in a 5’ or even 6’ bed. Didn’t sleep well at all as a result.

It was the first time we had stayed at The Huntsman of Little Wenlock. The place is beautiful, decorated with class & taste. The food on Saturday night in the restaurant was superb, the room we stayed in was so comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. The views of the Wrekin from our window was amazing. Would highly recommend The Huntsman, it was such a nice place to stay, and it made our weekend in Shropshire so much more enjoyable, We will be back. Thankyou to all at the staff at The Huntsman,

You could not fault anything

The hotel is in a small village and was renovated along with other parts of the village a few years ago and as the lady on the reception desk says the hotel has been renovated every week since. You can see the hotel is very well looked after and the food on offer for both dinner and breakfast is vey good. (Did not have lunch). The restaurant not surprisingly seemed to attract diners from miles around and the bar was pretty busy too. A very nice place to stay.

What a lovely place in a great little village. Room was excellent, clean and modern. restaurant was top notch, food stunning, the bar was welcoming too. The staff very polite, friendly and energetic!

Working away all the time I don’t eat cooked breakfasts. I eat continental, cereals, fruits yogurts etc. The offering for this was very poor, I was expecting so much more after my evening meal. Guys you have to sort this out, you’re letting you’re selves down, you’d of got a 10/10!
