plittle remote place to relax and enjoy, a jacuzzi even during colder days, a la carte breakfast, peaceful and calm, great place in the woods

a whole lot of rules given. during the stay all is relaxed but many many rules handed out. we had to check in multiple times. online and on site again. small but very annoying remark: the door to the restaurant needs to be fixed. a must know for customers: this is approx. 1000m high, so be aware that it is around 5 degrees colder than the coast. and more rain as well.

The accommodation was wonderful and the settings great and relaxing. Breakfast was very good.

The food at night was poor, nothing special and very expensive for what is was. We cancelled the next night and went down the road to one of the restaurants outside. Would of been better if it had bar facilities in the hotel as the mini bar was expensive and only 1 or 2 items inside.

immacullate facilities: really pretty pool area, kids’ playground, general yard

room itself was not confortable for a stay of more than two persons, making a stay of 2 adults with two kids really hard: downstairs sofa bed extremely uncomfortable, wc upstairs, as a cot for the baby - where is not enough space so it is squeezed between the bed and the wall making it impossible to use because you have to kneel on the side of the bed with the baby in your arms then lean down to place the baby in the travel cot (try not to fall in!) no actal sitting area inside - only one chair and a super small coffee table

Wifi could have been better (if hadn't been travelling for work, then wouldn't have minded). Restaurant not open every night, so no bar on some nights (but minibar is well stocked).

Excellent position for our needs, the breakfast was good and the heated pool and the hot tub at the end of the day were a godsend. I will return for sure!

A minor thing, the reception hours were very limited, but we could check in later on.

Nothing :) for guests staying several nights it would be nice to have some « specials » added to the night menu as options are quite limited

Location - great for hiking; if you want beach holidays you need to factor in the commute (~1hr one way). Also note the hotel is ~950m above sea level so considerably colder than beach. 15-20min walk to barbecue area, as well as to village with several restaurants. Premises otherwise - AMAZING. 6 rooms so 24 guests max, shared jaccuzzi and pool, kids playground, hammocks... all set in pine forest. Good variety for breakfast, generous portion too.

noises that kept me awake - rain rumbling on the roof, hissing water in the pipes, neighbours doing it in the bathroom; bidet 2m away from the toilet

The room was smaller than we were expecting.

Perfect secluded retreat in the mountains, excellently located for easy access to La Laguna, Santa Cruz and the Anaga mountains (and also el pico de tiede). Lovely views. Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast and very tasty food at the restaurant Would highly recommend.

Nada - estaba perfecto

We stayed here in December 2021 and while it was cloudy and foggy for two days on the coastal area, we were all the time above the clouds, in the sun, enjoying the pool and the silence of the woods surrounding the area. The room is one of a kind, the staff very attentive and polite, the breakfast very good. The only thing that was wrong with this place was that we stayed only two nights. ;) My son and I loved that we were able to play ping-pong in the afternoon. A must visit if you are around and want to escape form the crowds of the south coast. We will be coming back for more.

Nothing really worth mentioning. It could be perceived as a bit pricey, but once you have stayed here, you see that it is totally worth it. If I would really have to add a comment for improvement -> breakfast should be always included in the room price (it was in our case) and maybe to have the possibility to order some tapas & wine by the pool would be a nice add on ;)
