As good breakfast as can be managed for the money, enough variety for several days and a bonus yummy cake each day. Coffee and teas available throughout the whole day. Nice patio to chill or hang out with the other guests and the staff.

The hostel is run by volunteers and creates a community with the guests so expect cleaning dishes after yourself and being generally considerate of everyone else. If you are used to being served everything and not doing anything yourself, this hostel is not for you. Also, there are only 2 bathrooms for all the guests so you may need to wait your turn in the evenings when it gets busy.

This is a hostel you need to stay at! When you step inside they say: "welcome home" and from that moment you will feel like home! Super welcoming and helpful owners and volunteers, VERY clean (the volunteers clean multiple times a day the kitchen and the bathroom), very cozy patio to chill, eat and socialise, cute and delicious breakfast with homemade cake, hummus etc. the beds are comfortable, you can take water/beer anytime for 1€ out of the fridge... A LOT OF little things that make this hostel wonderful! Close to anaga nationalpark for hikes, 2min walk from a huge local market! Would 10000% come back!! Thanks for creating us backpackers a place we feel like home.

Patio Hostel in La Laguna is a gem for travelers seeking a warm, welcoming, and vibrant stay. The vibe, relaxed and inclusive atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. The couple who run the hostel are present most of the time, ensuring everything runs smoothly and fostering a sense of community. The volunteers are very friendly as well, you always have someone to chat with if you want to. The patio itself is the heart of the hostel, everyone spends the most of their time there. For digital nomads, this is also a good choice. There are a few dedicated workspaces with good internet, making it easy to get things done, just keep in mind sometimes it can get busy as it is in the common area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home-away-from-home in Tenerife!

Thank you Marina and all of the staff at Patio for being so welcoming and kind. I was greeted every time with a warm smile. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very much appreciated and they even offered to leave me breakfast out earlier than usual as I was checking out at 7 am. The location was close to shops and restaurants and a market just across the square. Beds were very comfortable and it was easy to meet people. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended. Love from Ireland.

The location is super attractive, so easy to get there from the airport/La Laguna bus terminal. People welcoming you there are super hospitable, for the non-spanish speakers, they speak english too. Gisella and Mano (apologies if spelled incorrectly!) were great, made me feel there comfortable, showed around and there's some food and drinks for the residents thats included in the price :) I spent a night there only, but it surely is a spot to remember for any future trips to Tenerife. Thanks guys, youre doing a great job there and something to take pride in.

The hostel itself is made to feel warm and welcome and comfortable. It's really like a home away from home feeling. And what makes all of this even better is the lovely staff. They're always here to help, support and suggest the best excursions and places. Plus the location offers everything from hiking in the mountains to chilling at the beaches within a 30 minute bus ride from the city. I would definitely come back!

The vibe of the place was super friendly. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel at home and welcome. Staff were lovely, and gave so much advice on things to do and see nearby, for example trekking and hiking options in Anaga. The rooms were fine, typical hostel style and being a fairly small place, there was a nice sense of community and I met some great people there to go hiking with and have meals etc.

Amazing hostel with amazing people! Always ready to give you tips on where to go or what to do or just to have a little chat. The location is amazing; the town center is at a walking distance and you are super close to the forest where you can take amazing hikes. A lot of choices for the breakfast (they make their own cake, oat milk, hummes) in the morning and coffee and tea throughout the whole day. The kitchen has everything you need where you can cook and store your stuff. And of course, an amazing patio where you can sit and chill and read and talk. And the bunkbeds have curtains, so you feel like you have some privacy.

There are only 2 bathrooms and with a lot of people in the hostel it can be a little inconvenient, especially when you just wake up and you really need to pee 😂

What was really perfect - staff and whole style of the hostel. Friendly guy from staff Ma** took a tour with every guest in the beginning of their staying there and explained all rules and how it works. Also provided some tips for trips in Tenerife. In the hostel is something like social place with chairs/sofas/couches where you can chill, eat, drink, talk with other people. The bathrooms were clean, beds comfy and also clean of course and storage box with lock was also provided and enough. I heard from friends that in some hostel in Tenerife they needed to pay for lock so here it was free or included in price :). Breakfast were very simple and nice but had also some minus. Locality amazing !

Its really subjective but I missed some kind of vegetable and eggs or maybe sausages on breakfast.

Everything was perfect, 10/10 is not enough! Marina, Alvaro, Mano and all the staff were great, very welcoming, kind, helpful and friendly. There is a magic atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The outdoor patio is lovely and perfect to meet other travelers, play board games, drink a beer or relax. Plus, a delicious breakfast with many vegan options. Thanks, I’ll definitely come back!
