Our mini-suite was very clean and comfortable. We were pleased with the separate sitting area, which was actually a different room from the bedroom. I'm often awake late, and my husband was able to sleep while I could read in comfort in the sitting area. We brought some snacks and water and were glad to be able to keep them in the mini-fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and quite good.

We really had no complaints. If I really want to nitpick, the yogurt at breakfast was not to my liking, but there was nothing wrong with it; it was just not a brand or type I enjoy.

Location was key! Close to everything! Right off the main hwy. Never had to worry about where to go because everything was right there.beds were super comfy.very quiet would definitely come back when the pool is fixed

Pool was under repair wish they would have mentioned that! I drove 5 hours to no pool! My granddaughter was very disappointed and so was i ! Should have gotten a discount! No mouthwash in room like other hotels have so bring yours.they don't have toiletries like other hotels so bring yours.

Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Hot breakfast.

I’m an interior decorator. They need help with placement and size of artwork in rooms. They need some bigger pieces and spread out. In the room we were in, they had 3 above the desk and nothing else. Ie:The 2 smaller ones could have been above the desk and the larger one could have been on the wall to the right of the tv. Bathroom ones could also have been placed differently.

Im hardly the person that reviews almost anything-- Wether it's good or bad. However, I was exceptionally pleased with our stay. It was very clean, room smelled fresh and I noticed the air freshners in the bathroom (I've never noticed a hotel room that had air freshners). I appreciated the welcoming note on the table. Most of all, the breakfast was tasteful, the cereal was fresh and was brandname (definitely not that stale off brand that my children refuse to eat), they had both bosster seats AND high chairs 😮!!! What my children enjoyed the most was the pool and the fact that it was at the temperature that a family pool should be at (not one that turns their lips purple from how cold it is).

Super clean hotel! The rooms we got were spotless! I was so impressed by how clean everything was! Very comfy beds and pillows too! They even have many USB ports in the room as well as window shades that keep the sun out! Amazing selection of breakfast! They have a waffle maker, juice station, yogurt, bagels, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, and more! Pool is open til midnight, which is great for after spending the day out on the town. The staff was so nice! They were quick to check us in. Very helpful in answering our questions and knowledgeable about the area. They even greeted us with cookies and the lobby has coffee offered. Will definitely stay again on our next visit down to Marion! Best hotel in the area by far!

Recently remodeled entire facility. Rooms are very large, nicely decorated, large, well equipped bathrooms, very comfortable beds. Dining area very well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast equal to or better than most hotels offering free breakfast, clean and quiet to enjoy eating and a cup of coffee. Lobby with fireplace and seating area to visit with others . Located a block off busy hwy 13 and 1/4 mile from I-57 so much quieter yet easy to access location

Could use an additional comfortable chair in the room. Only had a desk chair. Plenty of room to add a chair without overcrowding

It was a perfect location, right across the street from the stadium for the show. The staff was very friendly and responded to our needs promptly.

Rooms and hallways maintenance have been a bit slack: damaged wall coverings, paint and fixtures were noticeable in every area of the hotel that we visited. It was nothing dreadful, just paint nicks and such, but the black out curtain in the room did not function properly either.

The breakfast was good

I left a few items in the room, and the manager decided to use a courier service instead of USPS, which would have been much faster. My items were sent out on July 8. I'm Chicago and was told it will be 5-7 business days! It's only 295 miles!!! NOT HAPPY, that was not a cost-effective decision.

Comfort, close to every reason we were in the area. Staff friendly and knowledgeable and efficient.

No wake-up call. My 'phone makes loud noises just because it wants to, so using it as an alarm clock was problematic. The closed captioning on the TV would just drop occasionally.

Breakfast was excellent actually had Locarb and sugar free options . Room was good size bed was comfortable. They had a nice pool area .

People above us seemed to be extremely loud however after spending time in other parts of the hotel I believe that it was an architectural flaw . When someone walked across the floor upstairs it sounded like a 5 on 5 basketball game was taking place . But this was heard in both our room and in the dining area .
