This property was fantastic. It has a more modern set up from the moment you enter: bright colors, front desk in the center of the lobby with a 360 view, mural on the wall. The breakfast was interesting: pancake "machine" with no messy cups. Wave your hand and it makes the pancakes then they drop out on your plate The room was cozy. I am a traveler that cleans a room once I arrive due to allergies and other issues. I was pleasantly surprised that my cleaning tools showed no unclean surfaces. No bulky closet so I couldn't stash my suitcase out of sight but the pipe for the hangers was sufficient after I ironed my clothes for the day. Located in a great area close to everything I needed access to for my trip. I'll definitely stay here again.

I called 1:00 am to make sure my extended checkout time was still in place. Andre stated I was all set for the extended time. Unfortunately he DID NOT document this in the system and because of lack of communication, the morning shift and cleaning crew did not know that I had this in place which made it an uncomfortable situation not only for our end of stay but for the morning front desk team and the cleaning crew. Hopefully he realizes that it not only affects the guest experience but his coworkers as well. Andre please remember to document EVERYTHING!!!!

The breakfast buffet was outstanding! I feel like that's a lost art anymore, and they outdid themselves. Wonderful variety of food options and clean and organized layout. With the room, it has the minimalist trendy vibe; it got the job done, and we would book again. The staff was amazing as well.

Basics in the room... just not very cozy. The bathroom setup was okay but kind of bare and awkward (shower water got everywhere, hooks instead of shelves, soaps a little difficult to squeeze out, toilet could have been cleaner). Overall minor issues, especially for just one night. No pool, but that also kept the client vibe calmer, which we needed.

I was pleasantly surprised- for $140 I was expecting a mediocre hotel but honestly it was about the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I never write reviews but decided I would this time. It was clean, had a great bathroom with hand bars in the shower , non slick surface and almost like a handicapped bathroom but it wasn’t billed as that. Very nice breakfast. I was just very impressed with all of it!

Nothing really

The location was a good stop during our travels. The check in was fast and friendly. The breakfast was good but standard stuff.

The $75 pet fee - almost as much as the $119 I paid for the room! I had checked pet friendly during my booking hotel search, but should have read the questions to find the fee "before" I booked. The fees for Pet friendly hotels should be more visible on the web site. Other hotels were $20/pet. The room is a modern and Unique design and somewhat small but only had light controls at one side of the king bed. Bring your ear plugs for the freeway noise.

It was so pretty, clean, and fun 🥰 We enjoyed the hospitality from the time we checked in to our in and out excursions. At night, we sat and talked in the lobby while some other guests played pool. It was so relaxing.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The location was perfect. Many shops and restaurants up the street from the hotel. I visit Atlanta often, but I really enjoyed my stay in McDonough. It was an awesome experience.

The breakfast is always so good. There are so many options to choose from. The staff kept it neat and clean and refilled if something got low.

The is nothing that we don't like abut Tru hotels. We most always stay at a Tru hotel when we travel, they are always affordable, clean and just what we need when traveling.

The bed was so comfy! Our room was clean and set to the perfect temperature. The staff was super friendly, too.

Not the property's fault, but the traffic surrounding this place is terrible.

My husband was only ate breakfast i didn't like get up early. He lovethe breakfast it great we live stay the room nice and clean
