The room interior was very cozy and comfortable, with the bed and pillows being especially worth mentioning. Breakfast was excellent. A complimentary bottle of water and local wine were a pleasant surprise from the hotel, and each morning a new bottle of water was provided in the room. The location is also quite convenient — though a bit far from the central station, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the main attractions: the Old Bridge, the cathedral, the historic town hall, and not far from the Würzburg Residence Palace.

Overall, my impression was very positive. However, since some constructive feedback is welcome, I would mention the absence of a vent hood in the bathroom. Additionally, a floor drain in the bathroom would definitely be a useful improvement.

Quiet location near a tram stop, spacious room and bathroom in the annex building, good variety of breakfast, friendly staff and good service at the breakfast room.

Slow and small lifts in the annex building (where my room was located). Noisy doors when they shut.The odd shelf corner next to the luggage rack (where the coffee machine was placed) was a hazard as I knocked my forehead twice while accessing my luggage.

The service was excellent with a lot of little special touches like: complimentary warm milk and honey! A small welcome bottle of wine, fresh water every day, well-stocked minibar, and lovely selection of coffees for the Tassimo machine. The towels were nice and bathrobes are available.

So what offset the wonderful service all around was the datedness of the room, and, in my case, too much furniture. Also the bedding was a bit old. A cotton blanket instead of the acrylic would’ve been nice.

The most comfortable bed I have had recently, spacious and clean room, great location.

The room is very dark. There are many lights but none of them is suficient to read or work. There was construction work which produced terrible noice, starting early in the morning. Garage costs 25 Euro extra. The breakfast was not what I expected for a 4 star hotel. The room was not done during our 2-night stay, but on our last day the cleaning staff entered the room before 9:00 o'clock even without knocking!

Easy access to the Straßenbahn, nice breakfast included. Best part were Jasmine and Sophie at the front desk. Treated us like royalty and took care of our every need and then some. Best staff we’ve ever encountered!

Not much. We could have used some phone charger USB outlets, but warm milk and honey at bedtime and a towel warmer in the shower made up for that detail in spades.

This is a fine, historic hotel with a famous restaurant (closed during our stay). The lobby facilities are limited, but pleasant and I like the fact that there was free beer, wine, coffee and tea in the evening. Also a welcome bottle of local wine.

The hotel is seriously understaffed, with one person who seems to do reception, waiter service and everything else in the reception area. Not sure why the restaurant was closed.

The location was terrific blocks away from downtown area, restaurants and entertainment. The staff was very helpful and when we needed to extend our stay the onsite staff was gracious to assist vs the International support that offer zero assistance. Thank you to the local staff!

Although they offered a bar - it was not open the 1st night and 2nd night offered a ‘open bar’ that was only stocked at opening so depending when you arrived choices were slim. But thank you for the free drink!

Everything was just as described! The location was good it was close to everywhere - walking distance! The staff were friendly and helpful! I also like the old soul of the hotel very much but probably this is a personal preference

Very attentive staff, options like pillows, so they go above & beyond. Great underground, private parking.

Nothing really, but the annex hold the newer/larger rooms, so you go via a tunnel to another building for the newer rooms. The historic hotel holds only the more traditional rooms.
