Clean facilities, great room service and location. Has a spa.

Wifi kept cutting out and the days we were there the temperature was 25 degrees or higher, these units don't have air conditioning and staying here was challenging as my baby daughter was overheating and miserable. Would have been enjoyable if rooms were provided with AC. I am aware they don't advertise this but they would do themselves favours if AC is installed as we would return. Otherwise we will in future stay in places which have air conditioning units as we know what to expect. There are some jets in the spa which don't work.

Staff we friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Close to everything we needed - bars, restaurants, fun activities, and hamner springs pools (were all in walking distance). Overall, it was extremely good value for money and we had an enjoyable stay. I would come back again!

There wasn’t anything we noticed about our stay we didn’t like. In our room there was however a locked door connecting us to someone else’s room which we found a bit odd.

Friendly approachable staff. The bathroom had just had an upgrade. But no liquid soap in the dispenser by shower. Staff came right away and filled up. Great location. Very close to hot pools and a shopping center. Green space just across the road in old hospital rounds. 100 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport.

There was nothing really that I did not like or that I had problems with the hotel. For the town itself, I could only locate one petrol (gas)station.

Location was perfect. Facilities were great.

We were placed in the disabled unit and the entrance door had a huge gap underneath it (otherwise it wouldn't have been able to open properly). We used an old towel that we had in our vehicle to block the draught. There was no way we could block the draught when weren't in the unit though. Otherwise, everything was up to expectations.

Breakfast not applicable.

The room we requested was a downstairs unit but we were given a disabled persons unit which was fine but the shower facilities are not ideal as water ran everywhere from open shower with curtain only. A squeegy would have been good to relocate water back to drain. Sofa bed/couch not very comfortable to relax on.

Great room, nice and big, good-sized bathroom. Right next to the Alpine village inn. Good kitchen. Very nice place to stay. Third time I've been there.

The room was really hot, hot day. There was a heater on the wall but couldn't get it to blow cold air. Had the fan on in the room but was still really hot. Hot temps in hanmer that couple of days..

Location was excellent. Walking distance to the shops and the pools. The spa bath was fabulous. Bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had great supplies. The blanket on the couch was a nice touch. We will definitely stay again.

Needs a privacy blind on the kitchen and dining room windows. When you clothes the blinds/curtain so people can’t see you room becomes quite dark. The generic “toiletries” in the bathroom were awful.

The friendly helpful staff were excellent. The location is perfect across the road from the hot pools. Bed was very comfortable

It's a bit pricey for a very basic accomadation No shampoo or conditioner, Every hotel i go too has shampoo and conditioner. This just had some cheap body & hair wash on a dispenser.

Unit was extremely comfortable and roomy. Couldn't ask for more from our hosts who were always friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to provide storage for our bikes, which we hadn't requested. The easy availability of towels for the hot pools was great. Full service was really appreciated - something we found less of on an extensive trip round the South Island.

Central location, pleasant staff, comfy bed, great room heater, milk in fridge on arrival.

My only disappointment in the room was to find the previous occupants wet towels left on the back of the bathroom door. It just didn't give the best impression of the room's cleanliness.
