The views from the restaurant are lovely. We enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view and breakfast with the same view. The service at the restaurant was good. Pricing of some alcoholic beverages too much

I was extremely disappointed that there was nothing special in our bedroom for an anniversary celebration. I was not informed that there was an option "Romantic turndown" or that you had to pay for it. As a boutique hotel I expect extra guest care. Making up the bed with a towel folded into a heart shape with some rose petals is not costly. I thought the very least the hotel could do was make our room look romantic for our 30th anniversary.

The breakfast was great, room was beautiful, view spectacular - looking North over Jhb. I can't fault the room and staff all were extremely attentive and helpful.

I have to say that I don't think the food was value for money. Whilst the food was very good, it was expensive. We opted for breakfast only because of this and chose to eat out locally, which was great to explore, but also way more cost effective. We also had a wedding take place on the Saturday and because there are no really separate common areas we felt restricted to our room and so chose to go out, rather than be in the wedding parties space. Also we opted to have spa treatments and whilst pleasant, for the money we paid, not value for money. Treatments were decidedly average.

Scenic accommodation which makes you appreciate Johannesburg so much more. The views are great and the service was special. Food was also delicious. Really enjoyed the set up and experience.

It would have been great if the door to the garage was locked as it was filled with items like bicycles and other household items so it felt like we were in someone else's home as opposed to a hotel. Hiding the storage from guests would be recommended.

The views from the hotel are stunning! It was quiet & peaceful. The service was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff that would assist us immediately when requested to. The room was beautiful. The ambience of the hotel was refined & luxurious. Our experience at the hotel was a great way to start our honeymoon. We definitely want to return in the future!!!

There wasn't anything we disliked.

Friendly and professional receptionist. The waiters were exceptional and our needs were anticipated and catered to. The food was excellent at dinner. The room was clean and very comfortable and the views incredible.

The manager? used her bare hands to scoop ice into our drinks and, although they asked about food allergies and I mentioned being allergic to strawberries, I was served a fruit salad for breakfast starter that contained strawberries. Why ask about allergies if it's not noted. If not for these two small issues I would have rated them 10/10 instead of 9/10.

The staff offered good service. The food was very nice and worth the money. I loved the view from the restaurant. The room was very spacious and clean, including the bathroom.

Breakfast & 3 course meal Dinner was excellent. Location wow the view from the cliff seals the deal. Just wish the weather allowed so we could relax at the garden however even when it’s raining it so beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, the room was big and clean , clean bathroom - very important. Waiters and receptionist very friendly and attentive. Thank you

On arrival parking doesn’t have protection like carport for guest. Please ensure people can be transported to the reception with a golf cart or something as that alone adds to clients feeling welcome also good when it rains guests don’t have to walk in the rain . Maybe introduce a little tour of the place ... since beautiful . bathroom door (Banging the door) downstairs was very loud, please look into controlling the the door movement to slow down when the door is closing else this noise will ruin the great boutique stay for guests . Reported to reception and the noise stopped , please look into preventing the noise.

I like the view from the windows when you having breakfast or dinner. It just wonderful. The Cleanliness of the room it's amazing especially the Carpet its so clean. The Linen it looks like you've just bought it now from the shop. The quet of the place it blow me away, i had my time to relax and think positive, I love the place, I didn't know that we have such place in Jo-Burg, I normally experience this in Capetown. I love Northcliff Boutique Hotel,

The parking it's a challenge I noticed when i went out when I came back, there was none so I had to wait somewhere for orher Guest to go out so that i can park. It was a total turn off for me.

Disappointed at the housekeeping, I forgot my earrings and my black and white scarf/doek at Villa 4 and was told that they did not find them. I am def sure i had left them there, so its surprising to be told otherwise.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Thank you for everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definately stay there again.

The Wifi in the suite was not very good.
