Love the Sea View and watching the world go by. We had Room 47. Lounge with Kitchenette. And three bedrooms, double with walk in Shower and bathroom and two further bedrooms, one double and a twin. To add, Lovely lady changed our room as my Dad has Parkinson’s and originally we were given a huge apartment with kitchen but Dad couldn’t make it down the stairs. Very much appreciated. Love room 47 and would definitely ask for that room again. Also pet friendly so we took my little dog Pippa who also enjoyed walking along the sea front x Not far from town 5 minute walk.

We were originally put in a basement room which we were upgraded to it was huge and not accessible for my elderly father. I asked at reception lovely lady changed our room. But when checking out another lady asked me why we were in a different room and didn’t look very happy about that.

I got there reasonably early and parking for my motorcycle was fine. I had a great room, more like a suite with a sea view. This was possibly because they had a conference group staying and I was moved a few doors down? The bar area was good with comfy chairs and sea views - even though the conference people were ensconced I got a see-view chair. The buffet style breakfast was OK - I've got used to ordering freshly cooked. :-) - but everything was there and being replenished. The breakfast room was a bit souless but I suppose this is the downside of having a large hotel?

Nothing really. The receptionist was a bit off-hand both on arrival and departure.

Lovely clean room with a beautiful view across the bay. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. My two evening meals were very good indeed, better than I had anticipated. There were plenty of staff available at breakfast, in reception and in the bar/restaurant, and all were friendly and helpful. The whole hotel seemed clean and well maintained. Unlike some reviewers I was not expecting a five star service from a three star hotel.

Can’t fault the staff, the food, the cleanliness or the service. The TV had a slight fault on the screen but was watchable.

I booked the cheapest single room i could find on booking.com as I just needed to find a place to sleep for the night so my expectations were very low. However being as its a quiet time of year they upgraded me to a double room! This room also came with a fantastic sea view which I really wasn't expecting so I was really pleased. Room was very warm, i was able to turn the radiator down and open the window so no problems there,Tv worked fine, shower was fine in the morning, bed was firm but comfy and I had the best night sleep listening to the waves crashing on the shore,

Nothing to be negative about, I only stayed one night and wasn't expecting much having booked the cheapest room I could find , however I was absolutely delighted with it. Would definitely stay again

Nothing , I couldn't fault it , parking got a little tricky on a weekend, but that was due to people leaving large gaps between each car

It was like having my own little place as I didnt have to walk through hotel lobby to get to my room. Bedroom was very clean, cannot fault. Housekeeping came in everyday like clockwork and turned the room around, loved getting that first impression every evening when I walked back tbrough the door to bed.

Everything was great but I do have to say that the shower was terrible, was not a heavy flow and almost scolding water. Ended up just using the spa shower for a decent wash, which I didnt mind as it wasnt far to go🙂

Hotel was comfortable, and clean. The spa was excellent.

The breakfast restaurant and service was well below the acceptable level. Disorganised,and unprepared young staff,no choice of coffee, just filter coffee that was constantly empty. No hot water for tea,lots if breakfast items run out no milk and guests continually having to ask for items. The tables weren't cleared,and people were having to eat at dirty tables. This area of the hotel needs reviewing, the cooked breakfast was tasty when it finally arrived at the hot counter.

The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. They worked so hard and were really busy but still managed to look after everyone's requirements and always with a smile. The layout was excellent and suitable for my elderly, less able sister. We easily managed (in a wheelchair) to access all key facilities. The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront for a slow walk on the flat, wide promenade which is great for those using walking aids. The evening meals were lovely and there was so much choice for breakfast. The bar area was well laid out and fully stocked. I look forward to future stays here.

Only one thing didn't meet my expectations and that was the carpet needed a thorough vacuuming but this did not spoil our holiday and I will be happy to return to this hotel.

I have stayed here a few times with work. Each time the room has been clean, comfortable and warm! The staff in the bar/dining area of an evening have always been very friendly and helpful. As a lone female I have always felt comfortable and safe staying here.

The only thing that could have made my trip better would have been to have another couple of days here not working!!
