The room was spacious and clean. It has everything you need for a longer stay (longer than 1-2 nights). The staff is friendly and polite - they are cooperative if you have any requests or issues. Even though the building is located on a busy boulevard , the building is very well insulated so you don't hear the traffic noise. The location is quite central - 5-10 mins to the old town depending on the pace of walk.

The bed and especially the pillows are uncomfortable - they definitely can be upgraded. We also had trouble sleeping on Saturday night because there were people partying in some of the rooms and they were quite noisy. This cannot be controlled by the staff but if you're noise sensitive and are staying on a weekend, have it in mind.

Clean rooms & Linen. Location was good and close too many things to do. Walkable. Lots of storage Cabinets and drawers. Air-condition was definitely a plus point and much needed. As the weather was hot/ warm at least for us. Staff was nice and helpful. Facilities in the apartment was great. There was a dishwasher and coffee maker which made a difference. The apartment basically had everything and beds were comfortable.

-The extra room or 2nd bedroom as said was very tiny and cluster-phobic. The odd thing was there is a glass on the top of the room partition wall separating the two room and it was disturbing as the room light would go to the others room and disturb other person. -The Glass in the shower was oddly placed when u take shower the water fell outside the tub and there was nothing that could be done. Also no drain.

Modern, comfortable, clean. Well equipped kitchen w dishwasher.

Need to be added to get full experience: - more cutlery, - more tea/coffee, - more shampoo/gel - 1-2 tabs for washing machine, - iron for every apartment.

Overall - great value for money. Plenty of space, very clean. The apartment is fully equipped, everything you need is in there. Home furnishings are Ikea quality, but fully functional. The location is superb - 200m from Presidential Palace and aroud 1 km from Main Square and Hvezdoslavovo Namestie. Almost across the street there's a supermarket. The view from windows is quite nice. We stayed on 8th floor and we could easily see Bratislava Castle and TV Tower (Koliba). Parking under the building very convenient, fullly automated. It reads your license plates and let's you in and out automatically.

The view is quite nice as stated above, but you have to realize there's a construction site right next to the Metropolitan Star. And you can definitely hear it, they start work at 7am. Closed windows help. We could have gone for a room on the opposite side of building, it would face the street then. But I guess it could be even louder. Having said that - the noise is not that problematic. The value for money is anyway very good, moreover if you want to stay in the city center, don't expect rural silence :) One more thing - parking costs 15EUR per day and I'm not sure it it was mentioned in the offer.

The apartments were way bigger than we were expecting, It was in a really good location, 10 minute walk to the main pedestrian zone, and the parking was really useful. I think it's more made for people to live there for short periods, like a dorm, than a traditional hotel, but we also just stayed 2 nights and had a great time. There is no breakfast, but they recommend a place nearby.

The sofa bed wasn't really comfortable at all, and there was a construction site outside of our room so the people from the construction kept gawking at us (we were all girls) in the room, but that isn't something that the property can influence.

the apartment is squeaky clean! walking distance n proximity to a supermarket , to City walls n Old town is a major plus. Washing machine and dryer rack , ironing board ( available upon request) was advantageous. water pressure is strong and the shower head has a flexible hose. the kitchen has sufficient plates, pots n pan n cutlery for us to cook a simple meal . dishwasher works perfectly . ample storage space for bags n clothings. Bath towels were fluffy n clean. This is one of the best service apartments we have stayed in and we highly recommend Metropolitan Star!

Very spacious apartment. Totally noiseless. Towel change every day was beyond my expectations.

My experience was positive, just a few remarks. When somebody passes by the reception, staff should smile and greet first. A couple of times they did not even reply my greeting. Smiling was not included in the hotel service, I know, but... please smile. It would also be nice to find a bottle of water at arrival. Blinds do not shield all the light. It was not very clear if guests should wash up dishes or not, I let some cups in the sink, I hope it was ok.

Great location, walking distance to everywhere, friendly and smilling staff, although Slovakians are not very outgoing, the ladies at the reception helped us a lot by booking us a taxi when needed and printing our tickets to Vienna, the room was really spacious and clean, very warm for the time of the year we visited, lots of space in the closet, many towels, wc separated from the bathroom, more than enough appliances, reliable wi-fi, overall a great experience

The pillows could have been better, the proficiency of English by the staff needs improvement

Very close to the city centre. When travelling by car it is necessary to book parking place in advance - otherwise it may be impossible to find a publicly available parking place or it may come to dozens of EUR per day in neighbouring parkings (once again - thanks to the hotel personell to avoid it).

We had two appartments and their kitchen equipment were not the same (inluding glasses, pans and other things). If someone plans to cook independently it may become an obstacle. However, as the hotel stuff is quite guest-friendly, such problems may be easily to be solved.

We stayed over for one night during our family visit to but is lava. not just what’s the location excellent close to all amenities and tourist sites we wanted to visit, but the best of it all was the actual accommodation. It was a virtually brand new apartment. Fully fitted kitchen. Wonderful beds with clean white linen. Fully fitted kitchen. A great bathroom and lots of storage space. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The only thing was the fact that they were some renovations outside the property during our stay. This made it a bit noisy during daytime but evenings were absolutely fine. It requires a bit of navigation between the reception and parking and the apartment, but nothing we could not manage
