Very charming room, the hotel location is perfect, car parking also available, very friendly always helpful staff. And dog friendly🤗. The food in the restaurant is simply Superb!! 🤩🍾 congrats to the chef 👨‍🍳👏!!

Better than pictures, SUCH a charming alpine-style chalet! VERY cute and VERY comfy, loved our room. Wins the prize for FIRST HOTEL in 4 months of travel to realize the value of HOOKS. Hooks everywhere, and we DID use them. ALL other hotels are idiots about this, this owner was smart! LOTS of storage space for luggage, etc, room well planned.. Food was great, lovely restaurant. You reserve for either 6:30 or 8 pm sittings, so if you like to linger or meet people, do the 8 pm one, as it gives you 2 hours til close, no rush. Special shout out to waitress LUCIA, who was wonderful, patient, and very kind; after an understandable mistake on my order that she corrected (which only gave me more time to happily chill in the relaxing setting), she was very attentive and at the end of the night she brought us out unusual sage aperitif drinks on the house, very sweet of her, and we left very happy with her service. GO, you wont regret it! (only 5 min walk to the lake park).

Liked everything from minute 1. (Wedding guests were very loud second night, but we just put white noise rainstorm on our phones, easy).

Good location to be a little out of Bled, but very walkable distance. Extremely characterful property and good size rooms and they were really, really great about us bringing and storing our bicycles securely. Bed was comfy enough and the bathroom very clean.

Our room had a motion activated light by the room door which would constantly trigger without any movement. Solvable by just taking the light bulb out but it would still click when trying to 'turn on and off'. The downstairs of the property is a restaurant run by a different business so there is some clash with space for checking in/customers of the restaurant, and the restaurant staff don't seem that enthusiastic about the hotel guests.

Lovely almost 400 year old building, beautifully restored, helpful and kind staff. It is easy to access town on foot (without luggage). The restaurant has great ambience and excellent food. The beauty of lake Bled surpasses the pictures! Climbing up to the castle and visiting the museum is definitely worth it!

Walk from bus station a bit of a distance with heavy luggage, but walking into town and lake front without a suitcase from the hotel is an easy stroll downhill. It looks like there is good off-road parking for those with cars. The bathroom was a bit tight but enough for one person (I was in a smaller room).

Forever grateful to the super kind receptionist who felt so bad for us because the weather was terrible she checked us in hours earlier AND upgraded us to a really amazing room. It was like we had our own little apartment in Bled. Our room had an entrance area, a bathroom, a room with bunk beds and then we had our own separate room. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud! It was amazing. Can't describe how beautiful the room was. The whole house is so gorgeous and special. We loved it. Would stay here 100 times. It's also super close to the lake and if only the weather hadn't been horrible, it'd have been the best trip.

There was quite a lot of dust between the beams of the bed and the bedside table which to be honest you could only see at night when the lights were on and it was a lot of it and breathing it in is not nice! Probably needs to be vacuumed because it's really stuck to the wood and it's not something that's done regularly as part of the normal cleaning service. But this is nit picking, the room was perfect.

The interior of the house and our room was charming and cozy. We were pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning in the room, which was a delightful relief during the hot, sunny days. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of choices. They even asked if we wanted eggs and prepared them fresh to our preferred style. Additionally, the selection of cakes was impressive and delicious.

The cool old house had some drawbacks. The walls were quite thin, so we could hear our neighbors talking and the floors creaking

Well what can I say about Old Bled House…so much character and charm. The location was a short walk from the lake itself, and there is free parking for hotel guests just in front. Breakfast wasn’t included in our rate but we did choose to pay extra for it and it was completely worth it. Well stocked and everything you could really need or want for breakfast provided. The Old Cellar next door do the most amazing food so be sure to book a table in peak season! And finally, the staff, they were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they just added to the charm of the property.

The staff was GREAT!!! So helpful and very generous with their time. The room was very very small and a bit tight, but it worked for our 3 days. It was really cute and had an ‘alpine’ feel. We loved being able to park our rental car on the property for easy access. Did I mention the staff? The BEST!! Ana (both of them) were so nice and very helpful in helping make dining reservations and filling us in on the history of the Lakes and beautiful drives to take. Thank you so much Ladies!! We miss you already!

Our room was very very small and a bit cramped

a lovely property with loads of character and a great peaceful location just a short stroll down to the lake. The staff were also great not only while we were there but i had many questions before and they answered them all really quickly would definitely stay there again

Just a few points that would definitely not put me off staying there again more tips I hope the hotel will take on board or will help you pack Hairdryer - they are the ones that are attached to the wall and you have to hold down the button and are not powerful so I would take my own if I was to stay again coat hangers - we had a lovely wardrobe but only about 5 hangers please please add some more hangers it won’t take much power cuts - there was quite a few power cuts which didn’t effect us they only lasted a few mins but I think it’s normal and a warning when you check in would be good

This was one of the best stays ever. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the lake and castle which was a really lovely surprise! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is a treasure, very quaint and furnished with lots of loving details. Bed was super comfy, the whole hotel extremely clean, I honestly cannot find any kind of fault and we will come back here whenever we are in Bled. We didn't eat here, but the food looked incredible, next time!
