The hotel is a lovely building with a breathtaking view of Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble - including accommodating my gluten free diet, phoning a local attraction (Vogel Cable Car) to make sure it was running and ensuring I used the correct stamps as well as mailing my postcards home. Also, arranging a late check out (as our return flight was in the evening) and taxi to the airport. Our comfortable room, including a big bathroom, had a balcony overlooking the lake which was stunning and the hotel's dedication to promoting wellbeing and environmentally friendly practices is admirable. I also enjoyed using the spa / swimming pool, treating myself to a fabulous massage - what's not to like!

There really is very little to say in this regard. The main restaurant has an excellent 'Fine Dining' offering. Whilst more simple food is available via room service, it would be nice to have, perhaps, a simpler offering in the main building (perhaps the downstairs lounge bar / or a 'healthy dining' menu as part of the spa) for those not wanting to travel to another restaurant. Although, totally recognizing that the hotel wishes to maintain it's standard of fine dining.

The Hotel has a great location on a very good place, it met our expectations, everything was amazing, just like in the photos. The room was comfortable with a great view and big balcony, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was nice but could be better, and the dinner was really tasty and unique very impressive on the taste side but the menu needs work they can offer at least double of what they have now very limited menu no options and every day is same so if you stay longer you need to eat out more. The pool area is open and has a great view the water was very nice and warm. The sauna also very good. They offer a massage also. The hotel has its own parking and you can rent a bike if you want free of charge. They also offer a local tours they are a great opportunity to visit the country side. Everything is walkable and in great distance.

Where do I start? Truly one of the loveliest hotels I've stayed in. From the moment I arrived I felt so comfortable and well cared for. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a really homely feel. The building is absolutely beautiful, full of character and charm, antique furniture, rugs and paintings - all completely individual - and there are lots of quiet little nooks where you can settle into a comfortable chair and read or just stare at the view (it's hard to take your eyes off it). I loved that the hotel was right away from Bled town centre at the quiet end of the lake. That might be a problem for some people but not for me. It took me 30 mins to walk there with my suitcase from the bus stop. (Beware: the lakeside path is mainly flat but there are then very steep steps to get up to the road where the hotel is. Fortunately for me, someone came along and offered to carry my case up them for me). However, once there it felt beautifully serene and quiet, tucked away in the trees overlooking the lake. The breakfast was amazing. It is not set out as a buffet and the menu looks a little bit odd at first and it can feel awkward asking for lots of different things, but the restaurant staff really encourage you to order whatever you like, so you can really have a delicious banquet. I liked that there were several other solo travellers so I didn't feel at all out of place.

My only very slight complaint would be that you cannot get a regular dinner in the restaurant. They only serve a very fancy and expensive eight-course tasting menu that is not appropriate for all guests, especially when you are travelling alone. I would have loved a half-board option.

The hotel has an excellent location! The breakfast was personalized and exceeded our expectations. The room had a nice balcony and it was spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The hotel looks understaffed, but those who work there are nice and helpful.

I would definitely recomend the owners to invest in new matrassess. The bed looked very poor because the matrassess are old, so the impresion is that somebody before me slept in that bed. I was even afraid that the mites could bite me and wanted to look for another hotel. I would suggest to change the room's carpets as well. They look old and worn out, even though they might be antique. If the owners changed the matrassess, I would definitely come back, since all, except what was previously said about the room, was very nice.

The size of the room on the small side, there was no facilities to turn the lights on in the swimming areas jacuzzi was not able to be operated by the guest therefore we weren’t able to use it! The sauna was not hot even though we rang down to reception 20 mins earlier to us using it! We asked for tap water at dinner only to be told it was unable only bottled water was offered at a price! Even though the hotel prided itself on having drinking water readily available?

It is located in a gorgeous part of Bled, away from the touristy area - so we didn't have to endure traffic to get there. The hotel is located on a hill so you have to walk some stairs to get down to the lake, gorgeous nonetheless. We enjoyed the short walk down to Velika Zaka to swim and had lunch at the campground cafe - Zaka. You can also rent SUPs and row boats near the campground. The hotel's breakfast was top-notch—I especially enjoyed the Bird of Paradise granola bowl. The food in Slovenia is also very fresh. The spa + pool was also a nice touch. I enjoyed swimming some laps in the pool. Overall a wonderful hotel and stay. Would book again.

This hotel was a wonderful experience. It was like being in a fairytale. The room and the common areas have antique furniture. Our room was comfortable, clean, practical with a huge bed. The bathroom had a comfortable bathtub. The breakfast was special, you can choose from the menu, it was a wonderful and special place. All the staff are polite, kind and attentive. Simon was there when we arrived, his kindness made our stay a good start. We were surprised with a personalised letter and our room was decorated as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary here. I would also like to highlight the quietness of the hotel, the sumptuous views and the comfort of the welness. Thank you for everything and if you can, don't miss this wonderful experience.

Just perfect. The best hotel I have visited. Safe outdoor parking spot, even chargers for electric cars, pool and sauna options and the BEST view of Lake Bled (for some room options). Our room(deluxe twin room with lake view) was really nice, spacious, comfortable and clean with a scenic fairytale view of the lake. I would definitely recommend you to add a breakfast included option to your room because Hotel Triglav’s breakfast is exceptional. They offer various meal options (vegan also) which are all prepared fresh, not in a classic buffet style. Kind and welcoming staff serve you the food as well optional coffee in the beautiful restaurant space with calming music and an astonishing view.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Services and staff, geographical position, view from the balcony is just amazing. Breakfast and dinner at 1906 were a really good experience too. Swimming pool, sauna and free bikes to discover the lake very appreciated

Double rooms with single noisy mattresses. The interior decoration of the rooms adds to the charm of the establishment, but some of the stuffs are really old and seems to be of poor quality, which can sometimes give the room a rather unwelcoming feel. For the price of the night and the charm of the hotel, you don't necessarily expect second-hand furniture in the room.

Started off with a receptionist who was helpful and informative about my stay and about my trip to Slovenia as a whole (he said he's been working there for 13 years, but I didn't get his name). The room was spacious and had the expected facilities - a comfy bed and a powerful, hot shower. The real gem of this hotel was the facilities on the bottom floor, with a sauna, massage room, and pool all being available; I was lucky enough to get the pool to myself for 30 minutes on the evening I was there. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast, which were excellent, and it was matched by the amazing view of Lake Bled, before then having an easy check-out process with a second helpful receptionist, who helped my onwards travel by giving me information on transport links, and then calling me a taxi.

Without going to Bled Jezero train station, the walk from the lake to the hotel is quite steep, especially if you've been hiking before heading to your room - however this makes the view better once you're in the hotel, and doesn't take away from the rating at all.
