The staff were incredible, the breakfast was amazing, the location is perfect. The hotel is central to all things you want to do in a day or two in the city.

The design of the hotel is modern to a fault. The design seemed to matter more than being practical or comfortable. There were very few horizontal surfaces to lay out your luggage or clothes. The drawers and spaces to store your clothes are ridiculous. When we asked the front desk for a suitcase stand, the kind you find in every hotel, they said they don't have them, apparently they are not esthetically pleasing to the owners? And don't think you're going to find a shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries. In the end, the shortcoming of the design didn't ruin our stay, it just seemed short sided to not give the customer what they are looking for.

Amazing experience! Everything was perfect. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above & beyond to ensure everything exceeded my expectations. Even though I came in earlier than the usual check-in time, they graciously accommodated me by providing my room right away. This was just the beginning of a wonderfully seamless stay. The location is unparalleled, placing everything you need right at your doorstep. Whether it's exploring the vibrant local old city scene or simply enjoying a stroll, you couldn't ask for a better spot. The service was simply outstanding. The staff members were always friendly, attentive & eager to assist with any request or inquiry. A special shout-out to Branko, whose warm hospitality & kindness truly made my stay remarkable. His dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable visit is evident in every interaction. The rooms were immaculate, meticulously cleaned & maintained to the highest standards. Great sleek & thoughtful design, which blended comfort & style effortlessly. The hotel is beautifully designed, embodying historical elegance & modernity. Beautiful room, very nice staff, and it was really clean! The location is perfect at Ljubljanica.

The breakfast was super, but the staff put out more and more plates and glasses, even if noone else came to breakfast at 7 am and it’s super load, the room echo, and that staff person also tought it’s more important to put out more 2 glasses to fill fully the glasses part so I was just waiting with water in my hand to pour it into my glass. So she could do it not like a robot and make that noise with 2 plate like other do with 200, and also simple do nothing because there were more than enough plates and glasses there for 10 other rooms, so we could eat our breakfast in peace.

We booked this hotel for a very brief overnight stay before our early flight the next morning. We were only arriving very late that evening and still were met by a friendly receptionist (and also were provided with out of hours access info in advance in case we arrived past closing time). She told us we had been upgraded and ended up having the penthouse room with an incredible view of the castle in the old town. Absolutely stunning room, and a great surprise after a long day of traveling. All of the facilities were very modern and tidy (in the room and in common spaces. We unfortunately did not have time to try the breakfast so I cannot comment on that but everything else was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the old town. Perfect location.

Wonderful, small, boutique hotel on the best possible location on pedestrial zone few meters from the river banks in old part of town. Close to all Christmas Market happenings.. Staff, large and warm room, with comfy bad , perfect bathroom, with coffee/tea facilities, overall cleanliness, excellent breakfast, even umbrellas for the guest if it's raining.. excelellent worth for money, i have luck to choose it between all other excellent hotels , because it exceeded my expectations.. I was so excited with Ljubljana in general..It's energy, beauty, and kind people everywhere. I would like to come again. My choice will be Hotel Haritage, always, because it's represents beautiful Ljubljana in general...

We really liked Hotel Heritage. The staff are welcoming and efficient. The room and furnishings are good; the whole hotel is beautifully designed. Location is perfect, just by the river and very central to explore the city. There are lots of thoughtful touches at the hotel to make your stay comfortable. There are windows to open so you can have fresh air coming in. The glazing is good and once you shut the outer and inner window there is no street noise. The only noise we heard was an occasional chair being moved in the room above. The breakfast has a great selection. We liked that this is a small hotel too. Ljubljana itself is a beautiful small city, and wonderfully lit upon the evenings.

There is no view of the city or river but we knew this when booking so it was not an issue and we went out to explore during the day. The view is of the street below or the inner courtyard.

I loved this hotel before we got there because it has a fantastic 3D floorplan of the rooms meaning you really know what you're going to get - I value this so much! The hotel is stunning although I really dislike the purple that they've gone for, this brings it down a bit from a design perspective. Breakfast was great. Location was just right. The bed was really comfortable.

Cleanliness wise, it was mostly good but the glasses in our room weren't clean, there were lip marks on the rim, nor were the napkins they were on, there were crumbs on the underside - other than that, it looked clean. I feel like we got really overcharged for a very small and flat glass of sparkling wine which was disappointing as all the wine we had in Slovenia was great, and really reasonably priced. I'm not sure what happened there.

All about location. Heart of the old town. Pedestrainised zone which will mean having to walk a bit if you take a taxi to the hotel at certain times of the day. Peaceful hotel. Just a few people at breakfast early which was enjoyable. The right amount of food available. Room had everything I needed. Bus station was a gentle 10-15 minute stroll to head out to Lake Bled and Piran. Plenty of places to eat and get a drink as you are staying in the old town.

My room was a bit stuffy and warm at times. No real view from my room, but not to worry. You can pay more for a better view.

Very central location, perfect to tour the city on foot. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was cleaned to a very high standard. The breakfast selection was good but didn't change from one day to the next.

Nothing really, However I did message the hotel to ask how much they would charge to collect us from the airport. They told me 48 Euros, but the internet said it was around 40 Euros. Please be aware that although I went to the official airport taxi stand I was charged 80 Euros!!! The hotel confirmed that I had been "ripped off" so please consider booking your taxi through the hotel or on line before you travel (I do not blame the hotel for this error, only myself).

Really smart, well designed, boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms. Super comfortable beds. Very central location, right next to the river, and walking distance to everywhere (although pedestrianised so have to walk 5 mins to collect a taxi). Lovely staff. Also very quiet at night despite being close to a few restaurants - but was off season. Highly recommend for a romantic stay.

My only gripe - which is very minor - is there was only filter coffee at breakfast. And only 2 sachets of cappuccino in the room which were no good to me as I’m lactose free. And I’m also a coffee snob! You could get a proper coffee from the reception though so we did that first thing most days. It was open by 7.
